M5 is not reliable. I have purchased two 3c-120 and they have lots of issues: random shutdown (power cut required) and random unresponsiveness. Started for one of them but this morning I found both in an unresponsive state. Trying to return them but it’s hard…
@@pelos880628 I’ve found that the issue was not hardware related by installing Tasmota. Since then, they were just perfect. Aditionally, home assistant gave great control and customizations. Plus, Tasmota has tons of customizations too - was able to change the behaviour by implementing double click / long press. I’m very happy with the hardware now, but I maintain my opinion about ewelink - it’s just a joke.
I cannot believe it doesn't have dimming. 40 year old dumb switches have that function.
Do the switches work even when all automation is not? I like to make sure my switches are not dependent on automation. thanks
