- Hi friends, In this video I will review the new Charlotte Tilbury Pillow talk collection that features a new Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Fair lipstick and lip cheat lip liner in fair. They just re - launched the Pillow talk Multi Glow highlighters and I ordered shade Romance Light.
I wanted to compare the new Pillow talk lipstick in Fair to the original Pillow talk lipstick and lip liner. I also compared the new lipstick to the new Hollywood beauty icon lipstick in Icon Baby.

This brand just never impressed me. I have tried a lot of stuff, never repurchased anything but the Pillow Talk (original) lip liner, and there are plenty of other brands that have lip liners that are just as good and cost less.
I tried the Pillow Talk mascara because it was on sale. I couldn't figure out the brush and ended up throwing it out. This collection looks very nice, though.
I have one of her eyeshadow palettes that I think has been discontinued and one of the lipsticks. I love the eyeshadow, but not overly impressed with the lipstick.
I think you’ve influenced me to purchase the pillow talk lipstick in fair, as well as the highlighter palette and that mascara!

I haven’t tried any of her products. They all look way too shimmery/fake glow to me. The lip liners still look too tan or too pink. Nothing close to my natural lip color.
For me I don't like Charlotte Tilbury makeup/skincare alot of hype around it and trends

This is exactly what I've been looking for!!! Pillow talk OG is not as universal as it is advertised for. It's too warm for me. I have icon baby and pillow talk in mind to buy for my fair and cool undertone skin, and here you are sharing just that. BTW, both the PT fair and the icon baby are stunning on you, not sure about the PT OG. Thank you so much!

Hi Angela, I like Charlotte’s formular. I have a light skin tone but I like darker colours to contrast my skin. My problem with Charlotte is that EVERYTHING pulls orange on me. On you Baby Icon looks pretty pink and cool though.
Hi Regina, Icon baby is quite cool on me and makes my teeth appear whiter which I like. Have you tried the lip liner in pillow talk. I feel the lip liners are more cool and then the pillow talk lipsticks lean more warm. That's why I loved both lip liners of pillow talk. Icon Baby is the prettiest cool toned pink on my lips but I saw on a lot of people it leans more brownish pink... or maybe it's the lighting. I do a lot of tests with my lighting to make sure colors look true. I have fair skin with neutral undertones if this helps. xoxo
Thank you Angela! Yes, I have the pillow talk lipliner and I use it quite often. I think I am a pale olive skin tone that’s why it is hard to match colours. But you did great swatches in good lighting!
True red carpet pink! It's a cool nude pink for once. Candy chic is cool toned as well.
Yes! Same here. Her colors are too warm/peach for my skin tone, so I'm hopeful the fair versions will work.
@@lowrider419fly for reference I'm fair/cool, my foundation shades are Nars Oslo and Dior ON. Red carpet pink is the best nude pink shade I've found, it looks really natural. I saw pillow talk fair compared to it and PTF pulls peachy, its a peachy pink which makes me think it won't be as flattering
Great video:) I don’t care what anyone says about Icon Baby-it is beautiful. I’m willing to put up with the slight grit for the gorgeous payoff. I hope she continues with the sparky formula in other shades.

I find Charlotte Tilbury's products very hit and miss. Some are great (her lip liners and her pressed powder for instance), but others I have found truly awful (the concealer with the sponge tip she launched a few years ago, for example). Her lipsticks always look orange on me for some reason, even when they are allegedly pink. I never have that problem with other brands, it's really odd, and I've seen lots of other people say the same, so it seems to be something to do with her formula.

Have you tried it? I read many times it looks too orange. I tried the original pillow talk lipstick and it looks dark on me. I'd like to try the fair lip liner but not if it looks orange.

I think her products are beautiful, but a lot of them were not flattering on me. Her magic cream creates a beautiful canvas for makeup and her setting spray is great! I personally love the Legendary Lashes mascara. It doesn’t smudge on me like the Pillow Talk one.
I think both PT Original and PT fair look great on you. I think they are for different looks. PT Fair looks cooler and pink and PT Original is a warmer peachy/pink. Both look great on you.
I love, love, love the way Icon Baby looks on the lips. It feels gritty on application, but I don’t feel it in my lips either. The only thing that keeps me from wearing it all the time is, on me, as it wears off a lot of visible glitter is left behind on and around my lips. That looks really unflattering.

Thank you for the great tip! I purchased Red Carpet Pink from the new collection instead of Icon Baby (with regret). Red Carpet Pink is too blue and pastel for me! I never thought of trying it over 90s pink but it’s a great idea. The quality and texture of the Kissing formula is so beautiful- I don’t want to waste it. ❤
@@susanwitek1930 I use red carpet pink and candy chic as 'toppers' for darker lipsticks. Both work VERY well over Dior rose blues lipstick
I found that the glitter in Icon baby and and also 90s Pink looked nice when first applied, but as the lipstick wears off all that’s left is glitter on your lips, and I personally thought it looked awful, really cheap looking!!
I wore this eyeshadow palette for my wedding, it’s an incredible color selection and really makes the eyes pop! The highlighter looks incredible on you as an illuminating blush 💗.
I think that the new Pillot Talk Light lipstick combo looks the best on you (like the Icon Baby one too - the glow for the win). The highlighter looks magical on you - glass skin! Are you by any chance using the CosRX snail mucin on your neck? I used it in conjunction with my retinol product and got quite the rash on my neck. Thanks for another amazing video!

In case it helps anyone else: PT original (matte) doesn't suit me, I'm afraid. I wear Chanel B20 Dior N1 IT Cosmetics Light and a lot of lipsticks don't suit me, somehow.
Blonde and fair and yes, everything usually looks too orange on me, too.

The way the fair lip liner looks on your lips is soooo much lighter and beige looking than on your arm swatch. I can’t really get a good sense of it from your demo. It looked very very light on your lips but you said it was a perfect match so I’m confused. I’ll check it out in store.

The multi glow is reminiscent of the Body Shop’s waaayyy back 2001. I am not sure if they still have that. The PT og sadly didn’t work on me as it makes me look washed out. I’m gonna try the PT fair soon if not next year as I am determined to enjoy all my makeup for now (chanel and dior) #youmademebuy 😂
I am also fair, but the original Pillow Talk looks too orange on me. Pillow Talk Medium, however, I love. I like the Pillow Talk Fair liner, but the lipstick looks too pale for me, unfortunately. I need more contrast or I look washed out. They all look great on you, though!
My favourite is pillowtalk fair on you. Iconic baby similar to pillow talk fair but it’s very glossy I love the gloss look. Pillowtalk was my least favourite.

I like more mate looks on this very glowy make up it tones everything down so the original PT definitely 😊

Quick question if you know. On Charlotte site the lipliner says fair but on Sephora it says nude. Is this the same color?

Love Legendary Lashes Vol. 2! 😊❤
In comparison to Chanel, I have not been a huge CT fan. Back in 2018 I purchased several of her eye shadow palettes while on vacation in Vancouver, BC. I got Vintage Vamp and maybe it was called Rock Chic? Anyway, I didn't really like the formula and for the price I was very unhappy. The colors are blended together to make mud on my eyelids. Having said that, I do believe she may have changed her formula so maybe I should give it another try. I do love all of her lipsticks and her Matte Revolution formula was one of my favorites for a comfortable matte lip. I have about 10 shades and a few of the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula. Like you, I never purchased the Pillow Talk line as the colors were always so pink based and I have a million of those shades. My favorite CT products outside of the lipsticks have been the Hollywood Bronze and Glow and the Flawless Filter.

Hello Angela the 3 colors look very nice on you but the original gives you more oomph ! I love the sparkling finish of Icon Baby too ! And i think you have the most beautiful and graceful hands and nails, would love for you to give us your manicure routine… by the way, you come from what country…Norway ? Charlotte's Super Nudes Easy Eye palette is my most used eyeshadow palette, out of all brands. I much prefer Charlotte's Legendary Lashes mascara over the Push up Lashes, but then again, my lashes are short and stubbornly straight. Legendary Lashes gives me lenght and volume in one application, whereas Push up didn't offer anything in terms of lenght, nor did it hold the curve. The downside of Legendary Lashes is that in the first week or so, it can be a bit messy because the brush picks up too much product, but it soon evens out.
I have the Beautiful Skin Foundation and the pressed powder (same light shades), I love them, even if I wish that the foundation was just a bit cooler. That dreamy highlighter is on the way! 🤩 Thank you for your video, you have just taught me how to use it 🙏
It's unbelievable, Angela, the Pillow Talk lipsticks look stunning on you... 😮 I find it strange because I thought we had the very same skintone, but it looks I am much cooler/rosier (and slightly paler) than you... Those shades are extremely ugly and unflattering on my lips, they instantly become dull and orangish 😳😱 Rose to Fame suits my complexion 💜

I wish the original pillow talk lipstick was available in the kissing formula.
I use the lip lustre gloss in pillow, talk over the top to get a ‘kissing formula’ result. I also love a colour called JK magic, which gives more ‘white -based, peach-toned’, nude lip look that is very wearable. I can’t wait to see your next video and hear your thoughts about more Charlotte Tilbury products. Thank you again 💕

I'm the same in that I've tried a couple other Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks but never pillow talk & I'm thinking y did I wait so long, I didn't try the darkest pillow talk,I think it's called pillow talk intense, but I got pillow talk & pillow talk fair I like them both especially the lightest shade, I also think it's cool that she did 1 in the matte revolution & the lighter 1 in the kissing formula 4 variety.
Hi Angela! You look absolutely gorgeous, I hope you did not suffer too much about people calling you snow-white during school time, comments can be harsh sometimes. I am also very pale! My favorite product from the brand is the powder because it is very fine and it blurs my pores. I also like the Eyes to Mesmerize, the eyeshadows in pot, I really think they look beautiful and they blend like a dream, unlike similar products from other brands. I am also tempted to try one quad eyeshadow, the one you use in this video is stunning, only I have so many eyeshadow palettes...
The pillow talk fair shade looks stunning on you! I’m going to buy the same lipliner but I’m going to restock Mac Crème cup lipstick. I can’t find a lipstick I like better than that one for my cool toned fair skin.

@@Frenchforaday Yes! The lip liner works perfectly. It is more neutral. I'm very cool toned and I'm happy she came up with true pinks. Most of her releases turn warm or grayish on me which makes me look sick

Loved the Pillow Talk look on you 😊. I have got my eye on the highlighter now, but I think I may go for the other shade that is for warm complexions. I’m neither cool or warm toned, the warmer shade one looked a bit better on me when I did the virtual try on . I love her powder eyeshadows, the textures arereally nice.
A friend bought me a collection of Charlotte for my birthday last year wore it for a few months to give it a good try I do not like it and the Quality is not good compared to luxury brands
Pillow talk light makes you look without makeup, in fact you can use it like a lip balm! ! But the original pillow talk original looks great on you, and brings color to your face without making you look like too much makeup! ❤❤❤
Angela, do you know if the highlighter is the same as the one released about 2 years ago? It looks the same - if so, that had a lot of glitter particles in it 😢 oops I just saw glitter particles in it when you did closeup!

Hi Alma, I wear the new Charlotte Tilbury Pillow talk lipstick in Fair with a little bit of the matching lip liner (pillow talk fair) but not all over my lips. First, I applied Pillow talk lip liner in Fair to lightly line my lips and then the Pillow talk fair lipstick all over my lips.

The highlighter seems a lot smoother than the original release. The original one was very chunky with glitter so it doesn’t look like the same product
The first two shades are super smooth and without any glitter. The last two shades have some very tiny glitters. If the first release was with bigger glitters then this one looks like a major improvement :)

Haha, I don't accept PR. Most of the time I refuse. I only accept products that are hard to find here in Europe. For the past 6 years I've accepted PR just a few times. I prefer to feel the pain of purchasing luxury makeup. This makes my reviews more accurate, I think. I can assess accurately customer service, prices and all the pros and cons etc. If you have a Charlotte Tilbury counter, try the lip liner in Pillow talk fair. The fair pillow talk lip liner is cool in my opinion. xoxo
