I never listen to tier lists at launch, especially from Prydwen or CCs who rush to get early views. Prydwen is bad because they’ll create their own categories and compare units that shouldn’t be compared. It also felt like many creator tier lists were based on autoplay and raw dps numbers, instead of taking movement and utility into account or creating different categories. The only thing that was 100% true is that QJ and Suomi are OP. So many people told me Ullrid was trash and she would brick my account because she didn’t do the same raw dps as QJ or Tololo. She’s a vanguard, she’s not meant to compete on damage alone. They also said she was weak and would get one tapped in PvE and PvP. It’s like they overlooked her mobility, whirlwind stability break, and extra movement/camouflage to survive after a dive. Yet they have her next to Colphne on the tier list for some reason. If you play her correctly and pair her with the right units then her value goes way above the B tier. I combo with QJ for damage, and protect her with Suomi shields and Groza defense buffs.
Units higher in the tier list than Ulrid also are easier to use and rewards the players more than playing Ulrid well. Low risk, higher reward, that is also included when judging a unit's tier.
Colphne is a pure healer, she doesn't deal that much dmg, but it doesn't discount the fact that she's the 2nd greatest healer we have currently in the game. The reason tho, why Colphne is in the C or lower tiers, like say than Ksenia, is because pure healers generally sucks in games that dps checks you. That is an example why Colphne is the 2nd greatest current healer we have in global, yet she is in the lower tiers than Ksenia, who can also heal. She just doesn't bring much on the table for a game that requires you to DPS check every single time.
Imo it's kinda stupid to tier list in GFL2 it seems like every unit has their own niche uses. or at the very least they should be compared against units that are in the same class. I'm still using Krolik rather than Vepley or Ullrid but she's doing fine against most stuff, just have to use your head from time to time
This game has 4 different classes but prydwen invents their own categories. vanguards have 9 movement does anyone expect them to out dps sentinels base damage?
Thing is vanguard T-Doll are used in specific ways as said but people think its dmg only. It wont out dmg main dps but it can help them dps more. Example is and Zhaohui she is follow up and works well I assume with follow up team later on but people NO you must use 416. 416 have stupid passive for immune cc and some else which boost whole team dmg which doesn't sound broken? Again will it work if boss deals a lot of dmg and your unit dies? NO. You must use Verp 12 for that and Suomi or event others with that passive. Gfl tier list is joke they put M4A1, RO in D or so and they are f OP like really makes no sense. Yeah you must learn team build but still where they go is fine since there are good for their roles in team. It's same in GFL2 you can't make tank (Verp 12) do dmg like QBZ since she isn't main dps.
