I guess they made their early access not free so that people wouldn't get angry when the full game has to be paid for and it is as bad/basic as the early access, but now you have to give money to be bored. By having a paid early access they can use the sunken cost fallacy to keep people playing and attracting others into the game so that their money is not wasted.
Someone at Ubisoft really took a long, hard look at their spiraling games business and concluded crypto games were the solution, huh? 😂 Fun video, I'll definitely stick around for whatever comes next. 2:41 I think it’s a warning, reminding potential players that there is a very tempting option to not play, and that they have the power to make that decision.
I've been waiting for a stand-alone of Blood Dragon for years. When the show came out, i hoped it doing well could mean a possibility of a sequel. I even bought the limited run version and everything....😢
The gall to put Rayman in the middle of the loading screen for this piece of utter crap... At least we have confirmation that Ubisoft are never going to make anything respectable with the Rayman IP in future I guess, might as well have made Rayman flip us the bird in the loading screen tbh
I wish I would hit triple digits :( Funny channel you got btw. Lets hope you reach 5 digits Also the limited stock thing in the shop is there to trigger FOMO which NFT bros are getting heavily abused by since they fall for a lot of stuff
Bruh, they made ANOTHER ONE? And of course, poor Rayman has to suffer again. I hate Ubisoft. They had the sauce with games like the earlier AC and Far Cry 3, and look where they are now :(
Ubi probably has a "plan" that they are executing where they will release many NFT games and after that look at how they have done, why they would have not canceled that plan seeing how much of a flop the last one was, how no one wants these, they are filled to the brim with bullshit statements meant to make them look better than they are but hey, when has a plan ever failed, especially ones made from a shot amount of research and then executed with no flexibility or chance for a change in direction? For the series, i liked it, seems its quite a "either love it or hate it" style, which is weird seeing it comes from Ubi of all studios, the ones who remake the same game 20 times with a different skin and try to appeal to the largest amount of people always.
I was listening to the talk about Ubisoft, then I twigged what game this is. "Oh no!" What does "G.A.M.E" stand for and why do they just use it interchangeably with "game"
This looks like those crappy mobile games that I used to play as a kid on an ipod touch. Sad to see Ubisoft grasping at that rubbish from 15 years ago for content
Oh I know, I was mainly mentioning different series' and Ubisoft's homogenising of their games. Wasn't going to mention Black Flag, since it's an actual good game.
The way i see nfts being something people want. Make it part of a normal game. An optional opt in part. You go online sign up if you want. Get rewarded for things you are doing anyway at no cost to the user. Why would someone want it? Thats the thing that still doesn't make sense. You wouldn't put it into the game, maybe just a "trophy" that people can see if they look at your profile. But to add custom skins to guns or something it quickly becomes "optional" and not optional.
You know it's funny At first I thought that maybe the reason they released an NFT game at the tail end of 2024 is cause it had just been in the oven for a while. Like they started working on it in 2021 back when NFTs were all the rage, and now they felt obligated to release the game even though no one cares for NFTs anymore. But they you showed gameplay and I just thought "I literally made this exact game as a group project in 3 months with a team of people who never used the unity engine before, what the fuck". Like it's so low effort that I'm genuinely in awe, no wonder they don't want anyone other than NFT holders playing this.
Funny you should mention that, one of my earlier vids is me playing an "NFT" roblox game titled "Kingship Island". Technically NFTs aren't allowed on Roblox but they got around it in a way. And let me just say, I actually preferred Kingship Island over this one!
Didn't think I'd be able to get this out before the new year, but I had some spare time.

you know its bad when the free flash game Stick Arena is the same concept but more feature complete
They probably had more passion than this game that's for sure.
Brilliant video mate. Glad i found ur channel. I've liked and subscribed
Ubisoft: is it that we are out of touch? Nah it's the gamers!
Rayman deserves better than to be shoved into an NFT game.
Someone at Ubisoft really took a long, hard look at their spiraling games business and concluded crypto games were the solution, huh? 😂
Fun video, I'll definitely stick around for whatever comes next. Something about the way you present yourself gives me positive nostalgia for the way youtube was 8 or so years ago.
Thanks! It's definitely the type of youtubers I watch that shape my editing and presentation (I have no prior experience in this stuff before this channel!). I'm glad you enjoy it!
Cute game, wouldn't spend anymore than like $5 aud on it but then Helldivers 1 tends to float around that price so I'm probably just bias :p
Yeah... me too...
NFT-hating heart is a great branding. Keep it up!
thank you for taking one for the team
*salutes* I gotchu.
happy new year and a (late) merry yule to you! another great video about a terrible game, haha. 😂😊
at this point, ubisoft just makes slop for coin. they don't really care anymore, this ""game"" just shows it :/
Happy new year and a merry yuletide to you too!!
Honestly I was flabbergasted at this "game"... I wasn't expecting much but this was still less than that.
2:41 I think it’s a warning, reminding potential players that there is a very tempting option to not play, and that they have the power to make that decision.
we will be watching your career with great interest
"I live in Australia" Oh. Oh, my god. As a New Zealander, you have my deepest sympathies. I'm so sorry.
and as an AUS id be unhappy to live with you Sheep diddlers
Yeah.... it's rough, although not as bad as some other countries.
Getting a house here fucking sucks. Or groceries.
I've been waiting for a stand-alone of Blood Dragon for years. When the show came out, i hoped it doing well could mean a possibility of a sequel. I even bought the limited run version and everything....😢
I heard the show did well, but I've never watched it and I remember the Blood Dragon game was good too... I have no idea why this game exists...
The gall to put Rayman in the middle of the loading screen for this piece of utter crap... At least we have confirmation that Ubisoft are never going to make anything respectable with the Rayman IP in future I guess, might as well have made Rayman flip us the bird in the loading screen tbh
Leaving a comment here to prove i was one of the first 1000 subs ❤❤
Hahah why thank you!
I wish I would hit triple digits :(
Funny channel you got btw. Lets hope you reach 5 digits
Also the limited stock thing in the shop is there to trigger FOMO which NFT bros are getting heavily abused by since they fall for a lot of stuff
It haven't got any marketing it just... popped out in the store from one day to another. I think even they are shameful of putting this game out.
Bruh, they made ANOTHER ONE? And of course, poor Rayman has to suffer again. I hate Ubisoft. They had the sauce with games like the earlier AC and Far Cry 3, and look where they are now :(
I know right?! Wtf happened?!
"Oh no!"
What does "G.A.M.E" stand for and why do they just use it interchangeably with "game"
I have no idea... guess it was just a stylistic thing?
@@AeonDerpYT As in "the Notorious G.A.M.E"
"Grievous Array of Moldy Excrement"?
This looks like those crappy mobile games that I used to play as a kid on an ipod touch. Sad to see Ubisoft grasping at that rubbish from 15 years ago for content
Imagine thinking someone will pay over $1,000,000 to play your shitty early access game.
6:28 GIGI JUMPSCARE!!!!
Have you played the other Ubisoft NFT game?
Nah, but I watched Jauwn's coverage of it, can't tell which is worse tbh.
skull and bones isn't even an Assassin's Creed-like game. Black Flag is the goated AC pirate themed game.
Oh I know, I was mainly mentioning different series' and Ubisoft's homogenising of their games. Wasn't going to mention Black Flag, since it's an actual good game.
The True Ubisoft AAAA experience
Watch, because of this video they’re going to make an assassin’s creed nft game
inb4 I need to make an apology video... guess I should start learning how to play the ukulele...
You know it's funny
At first I thought that maybe the reason they released an NFT game at the tail end of 2024 is cause it had just been in the oven for a while.
SAME! I couldn't believe this was being released and with such... little effort put in.
I hate Captain Laserhawk for many reasons, not the least of what they did to Pay'j and Jade.
You know what would be fun experiment? Can you actually find NFT game like on roblox and compare them.
Funny you should mention that, one of my earlier vids is me playing an "NFT" roblox game titled "Kingship Island". Technically NFTs aren't allowed on Roblox but they got around it in a way. And let me just say, I actually preferred Kingship Island over this one!
7:11 the shadows on your character disappear when you go to your locker
Thank you for your sacrifice
Rayman deserves SO MUCH better.
