@DoomWolfOfficial there are a few things to potentially get more damage output, though I don't know if they would be enough to beat every boss. First is sweespotting, in which certain weapons must hit with certain sections of their model in order to get the most damage. Second is weapon buffs, which in ds2 first add a percentage of the weapons existing value *of that element* and then afterwords adds a flat value. Third is ensuring you always land counter hits, since those affect all damage types, but are stronger for piercing weapons. Fourth could be that it may be petter to parry certain bosses and riposte with certain weapons in order to get their critical multiplier for damage. Fifth, early on you used the resonant soul spells, but to maximize damage with those you need to have a large amount of souls currently on you, since they each use up a given amount to boost their damage.
I think I know what was happening with the "damage range" against Old Dragonslayer. DS2 has a mechanic that gives you a damage penalty if you use an attack while you have less stamina than it takes up. I noticed that a lot of these one shot attempts were done with little stamina left, and I imagine a good number of them would've been successful had you simply waited for your stamina to regen to full. (leveling endurance might have helped as well, considering that your attack took your entire stamina bar)
Furthermore many weapons in DS2 have sweetspots, where if you hit with certain sections you will get more or less damage. These hammers likely have a sourspot on the handle, thus meaning you would more damage hitting with only the center of the actual hammer section.

this run started off as a fun idea in my head. wow I did not know what I was in for lmao BUT if I were to ever redo it, it could be fun! Idk if I would recommend you try it but... _could_ be fun lol
You can cheese pursuer if you still have the encounter on that top space with the 3 hollows laying down, you run and jump onto the ledge --> run and jump right by the ladder to the other side to activate the pursuer spawn -->run back to the bonfire and rest -->pursuer bird despawns and he get dropped into the abyss

As the guy who recently (like 3 days ago lol) decided to take it upon himself to fix up Fextra's DS2 wiki.... the pale stone drop table, lost sinner weaknesses and Whispers of Despair questions... leaves me with some things to check on.
lol thank you for going out of your way to fix the wikis, overall they are helpful but after doing these challenge I notice some...not helpful information haha
@@DoomWolfOfficial Having pushed through the achievements and attempted a few challenge runs... I know the feeling lol. An hour or so of testing later I can confirm, Sinner does have a magic weakness and Whispers of Despair only affects physical damage... so no help for a mage build, but can be useful for physical.... like say 2 massive demon great hammers. Wiki updated lol.
It makes me really sad that you couldn't get this to work because I genuinely think that DS2 is a great souls game in the way it was more similar to Demon's Souls and a lot of really cool mechanics it adds to the game. I really thought that with all the ways a player can break this game over their knee it'd be more feasible to do the run but I suppose some things are just not meant to be. Either way, great content as always and I can't wait for the next video!
Before starting the run I was sure I would get further in, maybe not finish, but definitely further. man was I wrong lmao there was still other things I didn't mention, like using sacred oath, the problem is...that comes from Valdstat and uh, yeah didn't get that far haha
@@DoomWolfOfficial Maybe one day an epiphany will strike and you'll have the god strat to make this run your bitch, but until then, I hear dark souls three might be a lot more possible (for all the bosses with one health bar at least)
This must have been so fucking difficult, but it's so fresh as a concept and your content is so fucking good, I'm at 2:31 rn but I'm so excited to watch this 😭
it started off so hopeful, I was so excited to do it! but as time went on and one, the farming oh god the farming. It got way less fun way faster than I would have liked lmao anyway, thanks my friend i hope you enjoy it :)
I really want to love DS2, because I really like the ambience, a lot of the aesthetics and the lore, but can't help but hate playing it. Watching it though, is always a treat and enjoyable, which is a shame given the low amount of content of it around. Specially with some whacky runs strapped on to it. So this video was a treat by default, and you made it even better, very neat indeed.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video my friend :) I think my biggest issue with DS2 is just...it's a very long game. like so long. lol so It makes challenge running it tedious at times but I like it overall
I can’t tell you how much respect I have for you for making this video, I love the souls series (yes even dark souls 2) but I don’t think I’d ever have the patience to do all this. @@DoomWolfOfficial I actually have a question about the game modifiction here. what exactly did you use, and if you can remember, while poking around the files.... was there a swing speed stat you could edit?
@@DoomWolfOfficial ahh, thank you anyway. I have to track that thing down, just to see if the table can modify swing speed, then apply that to my ranged weapons for a silly artillery run. namely crossbows.
I think your stamina was an issue, as ds2, if you attack something and your attack consumes more stamina than the swing can take, like let’s say your swing takes 25% but you only have 10%, you will do less damage, but since your attack is taking 100% of your stamina bar, you aren’t reaching its full potential, also adding in the fact that you sometimes swing at 50 or 70%, making it worse and making your damage inconsistent
Thanks for the tip! I wonder if it's a scale, like for a basic example if I am missing 10% of the stamina from the attack if it's 10% damage, then 15% to 15% and so on, either way I'll keep it in mind if I ever try again lol
Great video mate, The set up was nearly complete, you need the dragon roar buff, ring of blades, sunlight blade, sacred oath. Use the helix staff or the great club, bait the bosses attack to activate the counter boost damage, depending on your weapon (mainly the helix staff) use the Leo ring to stack, and charge R2, you'll one shot a LOT of enemies and bosses. Lighting is the strongest weapon buff, so you could also use the lightning clutch ring, with the engraved gauntlets and bright bug for overkill you'll one shot no sweat. I haven't played in years so I may be missing something else, aside from maxing out your weapon. The black crypt blade can be infused with dark weapon or whatever it is called (the other strongest weapon buff), dual stance that as it is the strongest heavy weapon and use the dark clutch ring instead, ofc this scales with faith/intelligence just like lightening and it'll be a good one shot run laugh and ofc use the red tear stone ring. Farm the giant lord for the super souls to level OR, you can go full full dark build and use climax with the right set up of a catalyst, staff, rings, and buffs that is an absolute one shot monster, even on many bosses. I think you can engrave dark onto the staff and catalyst for more damage, Climax requires a max set amount of souls I think like 5k or something for the most damage, can't remember the exact souls, but only carry the required souls as it will consume all the souls you have, however the damage is abysmal haha With these builds, and other builds using the lost king magic ultra greatsword special attack. I have one shot most, if not all bosses in the game, dlc's included
Thanks my friend! Yeah there's def other stuff to get like ring of blades +1 or 2 (already had the base one), and sacred oath. the problem was that I just...couldn't get them? like, sacred oath iirc is Valdstat's boss weapon, which is behind looking glass knight, which is behind the twin dragonriders and I couldn't beat them so it's not obtainable glitchless, unfortunately. so, I mean yeah the things you said about boosting damage more _is_ true but there was no way for me to do it _glitchless_ lol
@@DoomWolfOfficial Ah yes that is true, have you tried sourcing Soul geyser/Crystal Soul geyser? Or the sunlight spear? With the right set up it can one shot the twin dragon riders, for the glass knight try using alluring skulls with your npc summons, they can do the damage, heal them and throw skulls? It's a solid tactic, as you won't be doing the damage but I understand it'll defeat the purpose of the video unless you go back with a bonfire asetic, that way you'll be back geared and leveled to retry solo? You can also stack lingering flame, so they'll technically explode it one go, counting as one shot. It's a ridiculously fun pyromancy and definitely one shots bosses, just need the necessary rings and gear to boost your pyromancy. I think pyro scales from both faith, and intelligence? For additional damage, wear rings to boost those stats?
The only thing coming to mind would be poison/toxic. If only you could apply it in one hit, toxic should be enough on some enemies. The ideal would be a weapon with high damage with all the set up to up the build up too and hopefully apply poison in 1 hit, but I don't think even double sanctum hammers (or whatever they're called) can apply poison in one hit, and they're in the dlc anyway, so... 😅
I thought about that too, and for a whole...3 seconds I was like "I shoudl look through all the weapons and see if any of them are multi hit, then try to apply it to bosses and see if it's enough hits for toxic/poison" then i looked at my recording going on hour like 999 and said no lmao
@@DoomWolfOfficial fun fact, you already had the best weapon for it: the trident has a spinning multi-attack r2 which can apply poison to a bunch of stuff, it used to be busted in pvp 😂
I haven't watched his video in ages but I remember him using two smelter swords on pursuer? Meaning it was either glitched in it on an NG+ cycle (which if it's the latter, hot damn lol)
These videos seem so hard to make. Both in regards to the game/challenge itself and in editing it afterwards. You nailed both. Perfectly paced and incredibly interesting!
This one in particular was an extra pain, mostly because I'm not super familiar with DS2. In the video it might have come across as me trying make it longer or whatever but I legit was like "oh god there's something else I can do!" lmao thanks! :)
You could get a slight damage increase if you use resonant weapon to buff the left hand weapon and then buff the other with resins, it probably won't get you much further, but it would kill old ornstien. You also could use old knights hammers instead from hiedes tower to get a substantial increase, using black gulch to farm upgrade materials. Edit: tested myself. You can kill a lot more bosses with plus 10 (slab from near warriors of sun and lockstone with stamina ring) dark gyrm hammers. Also you can grab Dark Clutch ring from the dlc for more damage.
Someone else mentioned the gyrm hammers, maybe if I make a follow up I'll have to do that! I appreciate it, but like..I did beat old dragonslayer? Haha
@@DoomWolfOfficial I guess I meant more consistently. I'm continuing my testing though. With 2 gyrm hammers you can take out gargoyles super easy no rtsr needed, then you can get dragon tooth. I switched to dark dragon tooth and normal gyrm. The normal gives more damage in testing with rtsr and ring of blades being physical damage and you can still dark resin it. Once I kill lost sinner I'll switch to 2 dragon teeth, but she's so dodgey and I'm bad and keep dieing on runback. Edit:lost sinner is doable. I played around with rotten because Flynn's ring would be a game changer, but he's got a lot of health. Maybe if you could get ring of blades plus 1 and 2 lightning hiedes greatlances, sunlight blade and Leo ring but I'm stopping here. I don't want to farm for sunlight medals and then offer them one at a time, I have my limits. Good luck if you try again, you are better man than I.
Watching your videos always makes me feel joy at the fact that some thing that may look impossible are not, keep up the good work and may you one shot god onto the curb
This is really cool to watch! glad you gave it a try. Sorry it was so miserable to do. A few suggestions that may help next time. Stamina, Sweet spots, and Counter Hits all affect a good chunk of your damage. So make sure you have enough stamina to make your attack, make sure if your weapon has a sweet spot, that you are hitting it, and make sure you are countering the enemies attack. Some bonus points on counter damage, all types of damage are boosted by counter hits, and anything can proc the old leo ring (which also boosts all damage) as long as the attack has a "thrust" animation. Infusions are fun. Some bullet points on it are that infusing a weapon lowers your base damage, your weapon scaling, and any physical bonuses like ring of blades and flynns ring. When you add onto that the fact you are also lowering your rts and wod bonuses it kinda makes sense you weren't gaining much damage. However it adds on innate elemental damage and additional scaling's on weapons without an element. And vastly improves a weapons natural scaling if it already has that element. (I have not learned how it handles multiple elements) Something that pushes this even further though is the game gives you a boost for matching infusions and weapon buffs. Meaning magic weapon will give you *Far* more damage on a magic infused weapon than an uninfused one, or a fire infused one. While Split damage is considered rather bad as it has to go through multiple resistances meaning (at least in other games) you pretty much have to take off an additional 100 ar any time you infuse just from damage resistances, weapon scaling in ds2 isn't considered very good, and infusing your weapon is often the best and only way to get good damage out of it. The clutch rings scale based on infusions as well. Giving around a +30 bonus on an infused or innate titanite elemental weapon. around a +40 bonus on a dragon bone or twinkling innate or infused weapon. and more than +40 bonus on an infused innate special weapon. This bonus is also added to chimes and staves, meaning it is rather important to infuse your casting tool for maximum damage, as it both increases it's scaling, and increases it's ring bonus. And finally someone mentioned the enchanted infusion which just.... no. It basically removes all of your weapons innate scaling and gives it int scaling physical damage. However the bonus scales so poorly it only beats out raw at 90 int. meaning that while yes, it will be boosted by all of your phys gear, it will almost never outpace whatever natural scaling your weapon had on it. However another important source of physical damage is in fact dark spells. A good chunk of them (maybe all of them, I cannot remember) have physical damage on them, meaning they are boosted from your phys sources, making them invaluable for damage scaling and explaining why dark has wod. Which kinda leads into my last comment. It kinda felt like you gave up to early? I mean you spent what looks like a ton of time just farming, and plotting, and routing, and it all kinda backfiring and burning you out. Which I can understand. However from what was presented it looked like you could have done more to work around enemy vulnerabilities, swapping weapons and infusions. Going for counter hits (I do not blame you for not crit farming, my god what a miserable mechanic) and swapping back to spells at some point. (there are a few multi hit spells that I believe can kill certain enemies) All in all it was a brave attempt. I appreciated it. I'd also love to see a retry in the future. Maybe a run where you remove rng and tedium from the start with cheat engine, and use that time looking at resistances and weapon properties.
Hey thanks for the long comment! I read all of it though I don't know how to respond to every piece haha, a few people including yourself mentioned stamina and sweet spots of weapons, a mechanic I didn't know about here which likely would have been enough to take down dragon riders, though probably not looking glass knight haha, the reason I didn't ever up stamina though was some far flung hope I could acquire flynns ring and use that. as far as giving up early, I mean...maybe, but I went through like 4 cycles of "okay this is it..wait there's something I missed" and I was so tired. Just. So tired. (couple with IRL responsibilities and deadlines for videos, I couldn't justify another few dozen hours ya know?), but yes, with the information you presented, it could help, I just wish I had your write up _before_ doing the run ;) lol

And I always love the content.
DS2 has a not often talked about mechanic of sweet spots on weapons. Basically if you hit with part of the weapon that would actually be effective (tip of a halberd, head of a hammer) as opposed to say the shaft or hilt you do extra damage

because I didn't plan on using cheat engine at all, it wasn't until about 3 weeks into recording this cursed run that I ran out of ideas lmao that and I wanted to keep it as close to as 'doable' as possible, so for example if there are only 4 twinkling titanite available before X boss, I wanted to _only_ have access to those 4, as opposed to just going 99 in all stats right at the beginning with maxed everything, that sort of thing haha
After binge watching a good portion of your videos from the last year (I dont even like elden ring ffs), I feel like I had to subscribe. "Joke's on you, asshole; I still got the ring." Too relatable. Honestly love seeing dark souls 2 content now that I'm contentedly done with it myself. I didn't hate the game but it's outright pleasantly nostalgic from a safe distance. You're gonna bear that curse...
Theres a ds2 expert, his channel´s called yazmania, does insane builds. If this challenge is possible maybe he can pull it off, but i doubt it possible.
I have no doubt someone with more knowledge could do this better, and perhaps get a tiny bit further (for example, I didn't learn until after that if you run out of stamina you do less damage, so maybe twin dragon riders are doable) But I'm not sure if the late game, especially, the DLC bosses, could be done at all
I love the subtle sodium over the souls counter when farming those giants. Jesus you must’ve spent more time on this run than my total time playing ds2 lol
I was so salty it permeated the screen lmao, yes the farming was slow, long , and tedious as all hell, hope I never have to do this gain ha ha. Ha...haaaaa.
Dude, DS2 changed the exchange with the nest. You can drop every single s&s stone individually, and reload the game once. It makes mass transactions much quicker than in DS1.
Yes but if I drop 4, and it's fire, fire, fire stone, then twinkling titanite I can't say "oh thanks, give me three smooth and silky stones back" lol that's what I meant by doing it on at a time
The little damage differences mentioned in the end may be because of the optimal range for the great hammers. If you're too close (or too far away), the damage is gonna be a little less than optimal.
If you ever attempt this again, you can infuse chimes and staves which directly effects their spell damage. Dark boosts hexes, magic, does magic, lightning does, you get the idea. Also the boss in no mans wharf is always in water so bonus lightning damage, and killing him gives an alt route to the lost bastille.
@@DoomWolfOfficial fair enough. If you can't kill the sentry then you can't infuse your chime. I thought that maybe lightning strike or whatever it's name is could possibly do it, but I'm pretty sure that's either locked behind covenant grinding or an ng+ boss. In either case I don't think anyone could ask you to bother getting it just for the sentry.

Ya know what's funny, I still wouldn't scratch the top 10, maybe 50, of craziest masochistic runs of this game lol
1:38 I want to know how many frames that "you tricked me" text is even visible for.
This is why I love your little edits Doom. The amount of sass you can convey with text is amazing
I opened premiere just to count
4 lmao
You can use , and . to move youtube videos by 1 frame, so that would have been a way to check.
I don’t think he does the editing, or if he does he uses the 3rd person
This is a very "fine" run. Love watching the roller-coaster of insanity.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was...emotional for me lmao
This was an absolutely amazing video! The cameos from other people were so fun, the video's pacing was immaculate, and it was an amazing experience for the whole ride! When I saw the video title my brain went "oh maybe I could do this myself"... I don't think I'll be doing this any time soon lol
It was a lot of fun working with the guys for this one, even if JK leeds did effectively make the video 4 times longer with his one simple trick lmao
Glad to see some unique DS2 content! It isn't the best Souls game, but it sure is my favorite. Hopefully the next run works out a little better for you, Doom!
Thanks my friend! Dark souls 2 is a fantastic game, I wanna do it more it's jsut a bit long to challenge run haha
Its the best souls game.
I'm so grateful for this videos. Sometimes I think I want to try something like that. Than I see your videos and I think I don't want to try this anymore. Thank you for your service.
this run started off as a fun idea in my head. wow I did not know what I was in for lmao
BUT if I were to ever redo it, it could be fun! Idk if I would recommend you try it but... _could_ be fun lol
love how you got all these other creators and community members on this
supr exciting
yeah I'm glad the bois came together to help my suffering lol
You can cheese pursuer if you still have the encounter on that top space with the 3 hollows laying down, you run and jump onto the ledge --> run and jump right by the ladder to the other side to activate the pursuer spawn -->run back to the bonfire and rest -->pursuer bird despawns and he get dropped into the abyss
Correct, but I counted that as a glitch (not like dragon rider where you see him fall in and stuff)
But I forgot to metion it lol maybe I'll update the pinned comment
We did it guys. He's on the verge of insanity. What no Elden ring dlc does to a mf. It will eventually come right...? RIGHT?!
Jokes aside. Fantastic video. Every minute of the video was well cut and the way you talked kept my attention throughout the video. I also love how every souls challenge runners are connected and watch each others streams

It's always a blast watching your videos. I'm impressed with how long your script is I could never.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos my friend :)
I would be genuinely interested in a follow up to see what the fewest hits it took per boss, even if it's not a true one-shot.
I'll keep that in mind my friend! :)
The true one shot were the souls made on the way
tell that to the knights swimming in the ocean lol
You, my friend, are a hero
Love the collaboration with all these other UA-camrs! Great video!
I'm thankful they were able to help haha
This must have been so fucking difficult, but it's so fresh as a concept and your content is so fucking good, I'm at 2:31 rn but I'm so excited to watch this 😭
it started off so hopeful, I was so excited to do it! but as time went on and one, the farming oh god the farming. It got way less fun way faster than I would have liked lmao anyway, thanks my friend i hope you enjoy it :)
@@DoomWolfOfficialI hope you got to listen to all your favorite podcasts while farming or something because holy hell- the fucking farming 😭
And I know it sounds cliche, but I genuinely really appreciate your videos, they’re a really good distraction from day to day struggles and you’re so funny and entertaining. so many cameos that made this even more enjoyable! nice try at this doom!
It was a lot of fun getting everyone's input haha thanks!
@@DoomWolfOfficial I actually have a question about the game modifiction here. what exactly did you use, and if you can remember, while poking around the files.... was there a swing speed stat you could edit?
@@DarkCT I was jsut using the standard chest engine table, I don't recall if there was a swing speed modifier though, sorry
4:26 You can dance if you want to 😂
We can leave your friends behind, because if they don't then they are no friends of mine
29:00 That might also be the sweetspot system all dark souls have, where weapons do different amounts of damage depending on what part connects.
oh good point! I'll have to remember that if I ever do a challenge like this again!
Great video mate,
The set up was nearly complete, you need the dragon roar buff, ring of blades, sunlight blade, sacred oath.
Farm the giant lord for the super souls to level
OR, you can go full full dark build and use climax with the right set up of a catalyst, staff, rings, and buffs that is an absolute one shot monster, even on many bosses. I think you can engrave dark onto the staff and catalyst for more damage, Climax requires a max set amount of souls I think like 5k or something for the most damage, can't remember the exact souls, but only carry the required souls as it will consume all the souls you have, however the damage is abysmal haha
With these builds, and other builds using the lost king magic ultra greatsword special attack.
Love the videos
Thanks my friend, glad you like them :)
I just love DS challenge runs, and i also really like the collabs/cameos of other runners!
I too love DS challenge runs haha, and i'm glad the bois can come together for this
The only thing coming to mind would be poison/toxic.
I thought about that too, and for a whole...3 seconds I was like "I shoudl look through all the weapons and see if any of them are multi hit, then try to apply it to bosses and see if it's enough hits for toxic/poison"
then i looked at my recording going on hour like 999 and said no lmao
@@DoomWolfOfficial fun fact, you already had the best weapon for it: the trident has a spinning multi-attack r2 which can apply poison to a bunch of stuff, it used to be busted in pvp 😂

I haven't watched his video in ages but I remember him using two smelter swords on pursuer? Meaning it was either glitched in it on an NG+ cycle (which if it's the latter, hot damn lol)

Good job!

These videos seem so hard to make. Both in regards to the game/challenge itself and in editing it afterwards.
You nailed both. Perfectly paced and incredibly interesting!
This one in particular was an extra pain, mostly because I'm not super familiar with DS2. In the video it might have come across as me trying make it longer or whatever but I legit was like "oh god there's something else I can do!" lmao
thanks! :)
Hey nice video man, good effort.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
What I love about your videos are the constant running gags being it Boss names in Elden Ring or that'll cost you extra.

Man woke up and decided to torture himself.

Bro successfully made Last giant into a difficult boss battle😂
Ya know what, your right. That's an achievement by itself lol
Good luck if you try again, you are better man than I.
already know this vid is gonna be fire i need to go to bed first though, see you in the morning

2:44 lmao, nerd.
Love your videos man, it's people like you who make me wanna try this challenge run things.
Darn right I'm a nerd ;P
(there are a few multi hit spells that I believe can kill certain enemies)
All in all it was a brave attempt.
@@DoomWolfOfficial Yeah... this run really was brutal for you as well. Things were just not going your way. I can really get that "Need to go do something else" feeling you had at the end of the run.
Personally I like ds2 the best out of the souls games. But I'm not gonna pretend it's mechanics aren't nebulous, obscured, and stupidly complex for no reason.
retry or not thank you for the vid, thank you for the instant reply on a 6month old vid. And I always love the content.
DS2 has a not often talked about mechanic of sweet spots on weapons. Basically if you hit with part of the weapon that would actually be effective (tip of a halberd, head of a hammer) as opposed to say the shaft or hilt you do extra damage
I see! Maybe if I ever do something like this again I'll see if it helps!
@@DoomWolfOfficial power stanced helix haldberds could be useful for the late game. though I'm unsure if they can be gotten within a single ng cycle.

thanks my friend! I wish I was able to get further but such is the game haha
Always love to see a new video from doom 😅
thanks my friend, I'm glad you like them :)
Cameos were awesome, man. One question: why wouldn't you just Cheat Engine in 99 Twinkling Titanite to begin with once you started bending the rules?
because I didn't plan on using cheat engine at all, it wasn't until about 3 weeks into recording this cursed run that I ran out of ideas lmao
that and I wanted to keep it as close to as 'doable' as possible, so for example if there are only 4 twinkling titanite available before X boss, I wanted to _only_ have access to those 4, as opposed to just going 99 in all stats right at the beginning with maxed everything, that sort of thing haha
After binge watching a good portion of your videos from the last year (I dont even like elden ring ffs), I feel like I had to subscribe. Especially after seeing you respond to every single comment that must take a good portion of time to do, respect to you for that. You make very enjoyable content. If you ever put your paws (wolves have paws right?) to multiplayer games (pff imagine playing online)and need a tryhard teammate lmk. Keep up the good work Doom.
Thanks for the kind words my friend :)
Talking with everyone is part of why I enjoy making videos so I'm happy to respond to all the comments haha
"Joke's on you, asshole; I still got the ring." Too relatable. Honestly love seeing dark souls 2 content now that I'm contentedly done with it myself. I didn't hate the game but it's outright pleasantly nostalgic from a safe distance. You're gonna bear that curse...
"pleasantly nostalgic from a safe distance" I love that lol
anyway, I will continue to bear the curse until the end of time!
Theres a ds2 expert, his channel´s called yazmania, does insane builds. If this challenge is possible maybe he can pull it off, but i doubt it possible.
I have no doubt someone with more knowledge could do this better, and perhaps get a tiny bit further (for example, I didn't learn until after that if you run out of stamina you do less damage, so maybe twin dragon riders are doable)
But I'm not sure if the late game, especially, the DLC bosses, could be done at all
I'm impressed with your consistent parkour while farming the knights in heide's.
lmao, thanks but I def took a dip in the water myself a couple times. then had the sweatest run to my souls ever
Great attempt, i would never have expected that ds2 is that different from ds1 regarding boss health, scaling etc
Yeah before starting I thought I'd get much further, maybe not finish the game far, but like it took so much just for the first boss. It's crazy haha

It felt extra nice for me because it meant I could finally put the challenge down, though I've since learned there's at least 3 things I forgot lol

Also the boss in no mans wharf is always in water so bonus lightning damage, and killing him gives an alt route to the lost bastille.
this is true, and off video I tried flexile sentry, at whatever point I was in the run, it wasn't possible lol
Great vid
