- Russia launched 180 missile and drone attacks on Kyiv since the start of the year, including five of its new hypersonic Zircon missiles. Kyiv's air defences intercepted two Russian 3M22 Zircon missiles on March 25, causing parts to fall in various districts. The spokesperson for Ukraine's Operational Command South warned of Russia having dozens of such missiles “stockpiled at military hubs like Crimea”. “They can continue sporadic terror attacks, including targeting the capital, the spokesperson”, Natalia Humeniuk, said. A long time ago I saw a video where an American journalist asked a US military general whether we have the means to shoot down such missiles, i.e. hypersonic missiles, the general replied that we do not.The head of the Ukrainian Air Force also repeatedly said that they cannot intercept any supersonic missiles, but Ukraine claims in the media that they shoot them down such nonsense I can't listen to their lies anymore!!!!

The thing with Zircons, and Kinzhals is not just hypersonic speed but the range and amazing precision. The fact that Zircons are both sea/ground based launch systems, whilst Kinzhals are air to surface makes them undefensible. If the US began deploying their aircraft carriers to europe they would be destroyed halfway in the atlantic. Not to mention Russia can easily destroy any major city in the US with its Northern fleet from the Arctic. Russia would destroy every air field and logistics centre in europe! There is no evidence that the Kinzhal has been shot down, except for UA government's say so.
In fact, there is no evidence that the Patriot even achieves a 20% interception rate with normal ballistic missiles (that do not maneuver) and have a predictable ballistic trajectory.
