Better Life acoustic

I wrote this one about a girl that I grew up with who passed away a few years ago from addiction. In High School we used to ride around blasting Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams Jr. until it felt like our ears would bleed. That wasn’t really my type of music but I loved being with her. It was exciting watching her live out her rebel dreams, speeding through the dark country roads as if she were being chased by the devil himself.
