I agree with you 100%. The intense version is a scent that, for me, I need to grow with it. It is definitely more mature. I did not like it, but I have to admit is different. Is a different scent. I will never buy it as a blind scent. You need to go to the store and try it. Put it in your skin not in those paper to smell it.

love love love Paradoxe Intense. the DNA is very similar in the opening, but its still very different. the dry down has a gorgeous kind of smoky, woody, ambery, musk scent. i really enjoy the moss note. i think Paradoxe Intense is great for Fall/Winter, serves Autumn campfire vibes. as a guy, i would actually wear the Intense version myself.

Everyone says the OG is "unoriginal" but I love it and disagree. I don't find it's anything like libre, etc. I absolutely love it for summer. Idk about this new one. Like you said it seems they took out the juicy addictive parts of the OG. I still want to try this one tho...
yes the opening was actually much more fruity and fresh than i expected but the dry down was a whole different experience
and i agree i don’t think it mirrors other designer fragrances like some feel it does!
This was exactly my thoughts on it!! I love the original because it’s fresher, juicier and very playful but deep at the same time. The intense is so pungent and synthetic, I don’t know why people eulogize it and destroy the original😅
Which would you say is more of a bubble gum vibe?
I tried sampled both in the store and liked the intense. I think I was having allergy issues and couldn't really smell the original. I purchased the intense but there was something that I really didn't like there was this chemical in the dry down that rubbed me the wrong way. It's something synthetic like you said. It smells like rubber, I tried washing it off but it got worse. I returned the intense and bought the original. I think if they tweak the intense a bit I might reconsider purchasing.

Not a huge fan of this unfortunately (or actually thank god, I need to save my money 😅) Paradoxe is ok for me, not a love but a strong like, this Intense one started fine but the drydown was really earthy and ashy on my skin. Not my taste at all.
lol honestly ive been debating returning just because since growing my collection Im getting pickier but I want to like It lol
The original smells like grape cough syrup in the opening into the dry down for me I couldn’t stomach it 😢
