It honestly is easy. Leave out the kill switch and look at it as two wires from the cdi going to the coil to make it spark. One wire going to the cdi from the stator to tell the cdi the crank position. And hot and ground to the cdi. So, 4 wires 1 power 1 ground 1 crank sensor wire to the cdi. 1 hot wire to the coil.

How to know if CDI is damaged. My bikes jerks, RR unit was replaced since it shorted 3 batteries before replacement. Is CDI also shorted?
If you done any aftermarket extra fittings then check wiring properly, if its okay then magnetic coil which is effect rectifier unit
