Blade Runner 2049 is the Most unappreciated masterpiece
I watched it after this vid. Holy cow film was best at everything: music, emotion, story. Ryan nailed the role perfectly. Its been a long time since i had these kind of emotions. Masterpiece it is!
I'm not a fan of sci-fi and still watched it. Ambiance is GREAT but I kinda felt disapointed by the ending.

exactly. Look past the surface and you'll see where the good films really lie.
I agree completely, nobody remembers the pile of bad movies made, for example, in 1976; you just remember Taxi Driver, Rocky, and maybe Bugsy Malone, then you think "Wow, they made only good movies that year!", we tend to look at the past with benevolence cause the good is already separated from the bad, the present requires to search and effort.
@@claudevinyard4477 People need to understand that the bigger an industry become, the shittier its top products also become. There's still a shit load of good movies released each years, you simply need to look past the 15 huge blockbusters that create really tame experiences to not shock any potential watcher. it's like if you want to make a soup that millions of people are going to like, you might not want to make it too spicy, too salty or too sweet so it becomes bland trying to appeal to everyone.

im an only child, and my parents are incredible, but they worked long hours. i never had a bff 4 ever, so i watched a million films. it was just my friend. watching stupid, powerful, films, they were all incredible. cinema had always been my best friend. it doesn't matter the language, the era, the theme, it's always been movies.
I am doing the opposite, I am currently watching more movies as an adult…

i fucking love that LOTR scene, little men are the first to back up and it inspires the entire army to run and quickly outpace them. But they never knew that. writing a good set of heroes in story form is incredibly hard to make believable, and that was just perfect.

Blade runner 2049, Tlotr trilogy, Whiplash, Spider-man: into the spider-verse, Joker, Scarface, Akira, Man of steel, Birdman and Fight club.
Those were the movies that made me realize that cinema is an art and made me want to tell my own stories to the world and im extremely gratefull to them for that.

That's so true. Kids loved heroes because of how amazing they are and how it can inspire them. But every villain has a back story and Origin that only adults can understand.
Nah it is just that modern-day heroes are written badly. With too much BS self-righteousness and no struggle or character building. This is why you feel like this. Heroes are so badly written we have started rooting for the bad guys. That says something.

@@zub41r75 I agree with you on that. I mean the heroes we know of from a few years ago are the very good (like the original ones for example) but unfortunately, they're becoming bad today because of bad writing that they made.
@@abankson0346 Yeah I think Critical drinker sums it up well. If you want to check out his series called "why modern movies suck". He is really good at analysing shows, he is quite funny too. He is honestly based. When a drunk Scottish person starts making more sense than most of society then you know society is fckd up
