The game idea never was a joke. Soon as the first teaser went up, noisestorm opened a discord channel where you could track the development progress and post suggestions/ vote on features.

Noisestorm is a frickin unicorn. He produces music, animates, programs and literally produces a game on his own. Game dev companies should be taking noisestorm as a prime example - making games not because of profit and cash, but because it's fun to do and you learn a lot as you go along your journey. This is certainly a much better launch than some other games that launched previously.

I really like your design style. It's refreshing to see something a bit different than a classic low poly, stylized, or HD AAA. It's like mashup but with character and vibrant.

THIS is how you create games. You don't need to have a 200-person crew to create games; with time and patience, everything will come nice and slowly.
Plus, the game was confirmed with a release date of August 20th, got a Steam page, it's only 9 dollars at launch AND IT DOESN'T HAVE MICROTRANSACTIONS. Everything is unlocked while playing.
I honestly can't really believe I'm saying this, but an Irish music creator with experience in Unreal Engine 4 is an inspiration to all indie game creators out there.
