Thank you so much. My husband is from Kumasi and hasnt been home in 15 years. We are in America. We are planning to move there as soon as January to finish building our house. I really needed someone who has updated info especially the websites for renting while we build! Thank you💜💜💜

$uccessfully$imone' Kumasi is a lot cheaper than Accra. I'll recommend that you ship a barrel/box to Ghana. As some exported goods are expensive or even hard to find.

Dwayne Terry I don’t know where you are getting your information but many if not most people of color who visit Africa would disagree, better than treatment of blacks in many parts of USA. Have you ever actually visited Ghana or other African cities?

Average income in Toronto Canada is $1800, 1 bedroom apartment $1200, Transportation (bus) $150, grocery $200 (individual), internet and cable $120, phone $40-60 minimum. Take into consideration credit card bills, prescription, etc and you’re in debt the rest of your life. This makes Living in Ghana heaven on earth.

@@EdTowel-ww7yh this is a sentiment spouted across all social media and other blk platforms. There is a difference in how I'm treated depending on if I wear wigs or my own hair. There was a law passed to allow dreadlocks on certain jobs in the U.S. (yes they were actually illegal and people were force to cut them until recently..school children have even been suspended because of thier hair) Note he said 'real woman', she is alive so she is 'real'. He means blk nationalist/pro blk..They use our hair to validate or invalidate our existence. It is becoming a political statement, just as the afro of the 70's. You are not a blk woman, you don't understand it for what it is, and attempting to become. These people still think hairstlye is a political statement. But the idea is outdated, and does nothing for true progress in this new age.

Thank you for this information. We pay 1200 USD a month to rent from a friend of ours. If we were renting from a person we don't know, we'd be paying 3600 USD per month. So, to pay one year of rent up front, LOL, that would be a BLESSING!!!

Thank you for this video. My most recent experience with Internet in Accra has been with MTN. Their most reasonable offer is a 200 gig package at 2 Cedi per gig for 35 days. If you don't use it all the additional data roles over when you buy your next package which has to continue to be the 200 gig package at 399 Cedi. That comes to about $94 at today's rate. If it lasts all month that will be less than I pay in the US for unlimited internet. So far, browsing and watching Netflix is good with no data lockups.

off the top of my head Zoomlion, schlumberger, Coca Cola, some banks hire Ghanaian returnees (or Ghanaians who have naturalized elsewhere) with foreign experience. Usually it's a combination of the education and the experience. If not a Ghanaian usually Organizations like the UN and it's agencies, sightsavers, care international etc.

      Hi
just read your msg and think i can help some how in the Answers to ur questions, in terms of health insurance there is but doesnt seem to exist reasons are is not really as in abroad where ur health insurance covers almost everything, in Ghana if u really want to pay and qualify u can but then it doesn't cover every little health cost plus it delays u of being treated in time and u dont get value for money as u rather end up getting cheaper medication instead of the right medication as those are a little expansive and health insurance doesn't covers them.plus with satellite tv we dont in Ghana but we do that decoders which is more like satellite but doesnt give u more info about abroad and is mainly local stuff u can watch on, there isnt enough though.

Surprise that anyone would pay 2 years rent ahead! Why not have credit bureaus or referances? So if I find a place that is 800 a month I have to pay $19,200.00 USD to move in? I guess I'd have to buy a house instead. That is strange to say the least.

Comparing the two surf line's biggest bundle is 100 gig for 399 Cedi that you get 90 days to use. MTN's biggest bundle is 200 gig for 399 Cedi that you get 35 days to use with unused data rolling over to the next month, which for me would be like 1 month unlimited at a reasonable cost. Surfline unlimited anytime is actually limited to 75 gig then you are decelerated to a very low speed data rate for the duration of the 30 day bundle period. The Surfline unlimited nights starts at midnight to 6am!
