- Had to re-upload this video with some new information. Normally I wouldn't re-edit videos, specially re-upload scheduled videos. After chatting with Plex Audio, they've assured me about warranty claims. You can ship just the speaker, making a huge difference in getting your Plex Audio fixed. You still have to follow instructions, and fill out the PDF. You need proof of purchase and just like every other company, provide your own shipping. They are having a huge special, and honestly.... it's a real good one vatos. Just wanted to put out the right information, I know stuff like this could be a deal maker.

Well, after trying the T152, and the TMS-5, I just put in the new Hogtunes 352-XLR 5.25" speaker....its a 2ohm speaker, 150w RMS each...all I will say, is OH MY GOD. Highly recommend these new speakers from Hogtunes. Set the amp up right and you wont be disappointed. Check into it, weather proof as well.

@@InfamousCreep its not better per say, just louder. They are 150W x 2 @ 300W total, compared to the TMS5 120W x 2 @ 240W. The Rockford fosgate sound amazing, but at 0 - 40mph. After that, the quality doesnt matter so much, just the loudness. The hogtunes have the bass and mids really nice, just missing off a hint of the highs..but thats all good, I cant hear detail anyway on the dyna. I might do a video, or maybe I will send one on IG to you.
oh.._and if you do order it, get the XLR ( R for rear speaker, the magnet is smaller to fit )
I wear full face helmet. Would this worth money to invest?
@@paulson9616 I'm full face too...its loud. No issue. Even at 80 mph. Get the TMS-5, or the marine grade...they are a bit louder and deeper bass. PLEXAUDIO has the best customer service hands down. BEST. Your gonna need a fairing though...cant install this without fairing.

That sound bar is similar to the MTX sound bar, like on John Maxwell's Heritage. I haven't heard one in person as of yet, looking forward to making a comparison. When I get the chance.

I wasn't aware of amp settings, I downloaded a EQ app on my phone.

Are there better speakers you can upgrade to that will fit in the system?
The speaker size is 5.25, I think these are the best for the size. You could try JL-Audio, I doubt Focal PC speakers would fit. These are loud and sound super clean.
So I’ve had the system for almost a year now and also blown a speaker!! The were able to replace the speak but I don’t want it to happen again.. I was just courteous If I could replace with a better speaker for the amp size so it dosnt happen again to me
@@jaysilvestro2251 there's just not a lot of room left in the speaker housing. I could of tried different speakers, but I like the sound when its working properly. I'm sure Plex Audio picked these speakers for a good reason.

I haven't had any problems since replacing the speaker. You could order a set and return them after, speakers can be DOA. They're made in China.
It was your tweeter that went bad... thats all. Replace it and you'll be good.

Message Plex on IG, I don't see how much you can improve over Rockford. JL audio has 2 options, but the 2 in 1 design sounds great from Rockford.

Man I wish I could find grills , no one seems to just sell replacement grill Plex or RF
Maybe a metal shop could repair the grill? I know what you mean, I had to buy the pair to repair my one speaker and I looked everywhere. You could buy generic grills, but it'll be tough to find one that fits.
@@InfamousCreep the plastic on mine is cracked and some metal bent in . I took it off and Ben the grill out no damage to the speaker. But to buy a new set just for grills is crazy . Thanks for the metal shop info .
@@quicknarco8567 have you tried repair putty? I worked at a bodyshop in my teens. Smack some plastic weld on it, sand it down and paint it black.

My plex 2.0 literally broke off! The metal that held it snapped!! Nuuuuu
Dang!! Take it to a welder, get it repaired. Shouldn't cost too much, you could buy a bracket from Plex. Maybe $40?
