Eddie and I were classmates from kindergarten to grade six at Keele St. Public in Toronto, all the way back in 1962. Every year, Ed and I, the tallest two in the class were shoulder to shoulder in our annual classroom photo. I'm gonna dig them up from the garage. I am so saddened by his passing. He was a brilliant and genuine soul. Rest in Peace my friend.
I was a fan of the Crowes from the word go. But Ed made them as a band, he was the sine qua non of the Crowes. I saw him play more times than I can remember, and the stories...well, what a guy. The epitome of a musician. Bless you Ed.
Descending & Ballad in urgency, dos obras maestras con los mejores finales que una canción puede tener: Sentimiento puro... Gracias Eddie, te extrañamos ❤
Sometimes, when I listen to Descending, and think about Ed, I can't imagine a noise being more beautiful. I like to think of him capturing something so wild and raw and untamed, and becoming intimate with it and expressing that as his music on this track. Right? He leaves it wild and also learns how to speak its language. I think that's true for any musician/artist, and maybe even most things, really. But for me, on this track, with Ed's piano, it seems most true. RIP Ed
It’s ridiculously good. It’s unimaginably good. It’s of another Earth to be honest. Breathtaking. And incredible you can listen to a masterpiece like this and still have so many people in the World be completely unaware of the majesty.

A great song to illustrate Eddie's great musical and instrumental talent. Surely missed by the fans.
The most spiritual ending to any rock song I’ve heard. Makes the hairs stand on the back of my neck everytime
I met him once. One of the most down to earth coolest persons from any walk of life I've ever met. See you later Eddie
Missing you Eddie! My dear friend!
