Adoption vlogs always tear at my heart strings. So many bittersweet stories. You are wonderfully poised Sarah, listening to you has been enlightening. Most adoptees seem conflicted. You have accepted very graciously, the pieces of your story and how those pieces fit together so well. Your mom must be exceptionally proud of you 😊
Great video, I'm glad you appreciate both your foster parents and your adoptive mom. Don't forget to tell her you love her as much as you can because she loves you! You're beautiful :)
Thanks for the honest sharing! You look beautiful, inside out! God bless you and your family! You will continue to do well and become a successful woman.
You are so beautiful! Never doubt that. I wish I had adopted a baby from China. Growing up I wanted to look like I was from China. No doubt that your Mom feels lucky too to have such a beautiful Daughter. Bless you! ❤️
You’re so beautiful honestly and my story is a lot like yours! I was left in front of the orphanage gates, but with no note. I was adopted when I was 10 months. I’m planning on making my videos ab my story in a couple days! :)
You are a beautiful, articulate young lady. I am soo happy that you are at peace with your tough start in life, i.e. your parents giving u up. A lot of young womrn who are adopted are struggling

Have you ever thought about trying to find your birth family by taking out an ad in your birth city newspaper, listing your birthday and mentioning the scar? It would be powerful.
Great question! I definitely have thought of this before. As of now, who knows? I still have a lot of life to live and I don't know where I'll end up. I am certainly open to the idea. Thanks for the comment!
Loved your video thank you so much for sharing! I am also a Chinese adoptee as well! I’m from the Guangxi provience! I’d love to talk to u sometime!! ☺️❤️
Sarah..merci t.y. for sharing your adoption story..I know hundreds of thousands have questions you answered..we view gotcha days videos..follow some for a few years and wonder how they did in life, feel, adjusted ..t.y. again absolutely pretty China Doll..moi, Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
I am so glad that you keep your Chinese identification and have a good master of Chinese. Wish you a happy life with your step mom.
Such a good video! I’m also adopted by a single mother but am in the U.K. I’m part of a group called China’s Children International and would recommend you join x
Hello, there! This is my very first UA-cam comment haha. I like your message. But to be fair, how do you know you wouldn’t be happy if you had grown up in China? Granted you probably won’t be given the same opportunities as you would in the states, but then you would be wanting different things in life and chances are you could be happy as well.
Haha I'm honored that I am your very first comment! That's definitely a fair question. It's impossible for me to know how I would feel if I had grown up in China with completely different circumstances; I would probably be accustomed to those circumstances since that is all that I would know. However, I do believe that everything happens for a reason. I cannot fathom living a life any better than the one that I am living now. Granted, I've faced many challenges, but they have shaped me to be who I am today, and I'm thankful for that. Thanks for the comment!
Hi ,you can put the blog video on the china website ,such as ‘wechat’、‘新浪微博’、‘今日头条’。。。if you want to find your chinese parents。。especially‘今日头条’,good luck!
You should be thankful. You are very lucky to be adopted into the first world. If you were abandoned because of a preference for girls, your birth family probably did not have good socioeconomic circumstances as this preference was only prevalent in the poor rural areas of China where life is full of hardship. Girls born in the cities by the early 2000s are cherished. Anyway fast forward now to the year 2018: the families with daughters are all having the last laugh. No matter if you're in the city or rural areas, the ones with sons now need to pay their daughter-in-law with at least a mortgage-less house, brand new car, and hundreds of thousands of USD in money in order to marry. Now that there is the entire population of Canada (35 million) of men who will go forever without marrying due to the imbalanced sex ratio. Nowadays everyone in China wants daughters, the preference has completely changed!
She sat there and said she was thankful to her mom to have been adopted. Go watch the beginning again. Your reply was out of line. Who are you to tell her how to feel? Even after she already feels that way? You should be ashamed of yourself.

Your mom’s guess on the scar is probably true. There are many tv shows in China have storyline like that.
WHAT THE HELL SARAH THIS HAS SO MANY VIEWS
where your father and mother?
Gee, Christians who were mean? No way!!
