Hahahaha good one … to be honest when I was doing the intro I thought “Flippin heck “ that’s a big k tech banner and all I am talking about is Accosato 🙈
Thank you ASR Sukhi ;) … Well , It’s on 60 percent off , the top billet race spec sets …. So basically , These Calipers are on 50 percent off already for first 40 people to buy then you can put code CHASE10 for an extra 10 percent … it’s a proper genuine deal
I had full Accossato setup PZ04 and PRS master cylinder along with Brembo HPK discs on my GSXR for the last 9 years and they were by far the best modulating and most powerful brakes I’ve ever had on a bike, I’ve got brembo M50’s on my SP2 and they aren’t close
Great feedback there mate, thank you. I have gone to m50 to this new accosato system . Let’s him it pays me dividends in braking .. thanks for watching
CONGRATS. Super instructive video. Can't wait to watch your Assen videos PS: Did you bring your 360 camera? Could you make it work properly? If you need any help with the 360 footage editing drop me a line
Thank you Alberto very much Unfortunately I have sold my 360 camera I wanted to buy something more latest Plus after the crash I had with new body work now , I don’t have a solid Mount for a 360 camera I will get one soon
Really cool vid Abhi, these accossato parts look very nice indeed. Looking at Brembo prices too, a similar spec billet MC would cost more than twice as much 😮
Well, that’s a bloody good point and honestly , I didn’t want to mention other brand names in the video but this point you make is excellent… you get stuff for nearly half the price and it’s all totally billet too .
I already had Brembo M50 on my bike The R weren’t a big enough upgrade from M50 plus they aren’t CNC billet, they are forged .. I wanted something totally race and track purpose built and much lighter
Thank you very much mate, it’s an absolute huge upgrade All I can say is that there are no heat issues , a lot of feedback and consistent pad wear , it’s not very grabby and doesn’t unsettle the bike ,if they are good enough for British supersport , they are good enough for us mortals :)
I saw your video on different wheel weights for your aprilia. I have the v4 factory tuono with original cast wheels and was thinking of changing for forged and wondered if it was worth it. I see the rsv4 factory original maltek wheels were the lightest. Which wheels do you run. ? Cheers
Hi Nial, thanks for watching my stuff , the Aprilia forged are the longest OEM wheels out there , I think they are even lighter than Dymags and magnesium, but OZ Gass are slightly lighter. I run BST Carbons but honestly telling you it you find Aprilia RSV4 RF forged wheels out there , get them , they are very very light . You don’t need carbons even , I got my carbons very cheap second hand
@@ChasingTenths Yes mate! Standerd fitment but the race vertion with pressure sensor for 300£ . The feel is really bad! I got brembo M4 calipers with heal tech performance braided lines.
@@superbikesquadracer I don’t know much about standard fitment tbh, it’s sad that standard fitment with a lot of brands isn’t upto people’s expectations… I think I had a Brembo standard fitment on mine and I charged that pretty quick too
@superbikesquadracer do you mean you have an accossato master cylinder? or the OEM master cylinder feel is bad? either way,, let us know and we can help you out to get it right
That’s the magic word in there “honest ” review , cause that’s the whole point of including this video into the series of videos I am making for the TT ASSEN trip, it will truly show a honest approach to things , from a decent Brembo set up to this set up and I can then give my unbiased opinion/feedback. Thank you for watching mate
I would like to put accosato radial brake master cilinder to my CBR 1000rr trackday bike... What is the difference between 19×18 and 19×20? Which one do you recommand? Any advice is useful, thanks
That was a good video, Abhi. Another thing about the nickel Accossato PZ001 calipers I got from Matt is, each caliper is almost a pound lighter than the OEM Brembo calipers on my 2018 GSXR1000R. So that’s almost 2 pounds in unsprung weight saved. I’ve also got the ZXC pads for them, and ZXC pads in the Accossato PZ004 calipers I got from Matt as well. The CNC master cylinders are a step up from the Brembo master cylinder, so more of your braking effort ends up at the caliper doing the job it’s supposed to be doing. Oh yeah, I promise I’ll post pics on your page for you, like you asked.
That’s absolutely brilliant , thank you for your input in this Really appreciate it so much They were much lighter than my OEM M50 Brembo calipers Honestly , they are so so well made Proper quality stuff And kudos to them for offering such huge introductory discounts , it’s unheard of these days… There’s a group on Facebook called Chasing Tenths “the group” , you can post pics there Cause the chasing tenths page might not let you post there 🤗
@@ChasingTenthsWill do 👍 Yeah that discount is incredible. As soon as Matt told me about them, I jumped on them straight away. I almost bought a pair of the non-nickel version at full price about 6 months ago, so glad I didn’t pull the trigger back then. @@flamintasty hahaha , maxton is bloody amazing, the after sales support those guys give is absolutely unbelievable.. you call them and they even come to you to set the bike up trackside … I am sure Matt does that too (I bet he will read this and say , errrr no , especially if it’s knockhill lol) …. What do you think in term of performance ,reliability and consistency comparing the accosatos VS brembos m50 with the RC17 master? i'm asking because i've bought another track bike which is a R1 2021 and the OEM brakes are....well....quite meh lets say,so i'm thinking about a complete set up change
I have now tried the accosato calipers and master cylinder at 3 different tracks , Assen, Aragon and Andalucia. It’s far superior than m50 plus RC17 .. mainly because accosato is an all out race and track setup … M50 is a great caliper but it’s an OEM road set up and has limitations when pushed hard .. The accosato has the consistency, heat dynamics is better , immediate response and ease of cleaning and servicing

Smashing video Abhi!
Thank you mate
Extremely useful info in this, havent really seen/heard or read that much detail about front brakes anywhere, especially about the MC
fantastic to hear that, and thats why I wanted to do this , even more than brand promotion , its about the technical info .. thanks for watching
