“Lil Wayne is a fan…” Wayne just said “I don’t go around fire expecting not to sweat” Wayne has nothing but respect for him
Late response. But nothing but respect for Em. Not him. Which I believe you meant
Him is Em because "Lil Wayne is a fan..." was talking about Em anyway 😅 @gavin1722
they respect each other
@@gavin1722 bro no f*cking shit he meant "Em" lmao
One of the best ways I’ve ever heard to explain this bar… exactly right
This EM’s verse can make you do 500 push ups in 5 minutes🔥
When Wayne says "I don't go around fire expecting not to sweat." Eminem shows up in the background over the shoulder Wayne flings the sweat towards. Just two goats paying respect.
It could also be a double entendre for being shot or a person who spits fire hell even a triple with a person being fire
Wayne went for straight punchlines and Em went for flow, rhyme and emotion with a few bars in between. The combination made the whole track dope but having known Eminems journey and his comeback post-overdose I feel the emotion in his verse which elevates it to me.
You feel the emotion? all I feel is typical Em&Em hyper anger on a track. Are you some weirdo looking Stan, like these UA-camrs? All of bunch of drug addicts, you Stans
@@yo3rdtier128 LMAO what are you talking about. Seek help.
There is tons of punclines with Em too tho. For example: "Getting roasted when Marsh was mellow" roasted, marshmellow. They are there but he doesn't make it so obvious neccesarily.
@@aleksisuuronen5969 He has some in there like I said but it's not the main focus of his verse in this song like it is for Wayne.
If you actually listen carefully to Wayne’s verse he literally has bars from start to finish on his verse everything he said was a bar study it
Imagine Lil Wayne and Eminem have a album together. No one can touch them
that would be dope. a lil 8 track album.
@@user-br1cm5gr7e I have a feeling they’d just go back and forth nonstop and end up dropping verses on like 20 different tracks by accident.
@@DropIt56 I'd be down for that
@@DropIt56it’s one track, but 50 minutes long 🤣🤣 I’d buy it without a second thought
“When I’m not at my harshest you can still get roasted cause marsh is not mellow” is one of the best bars to ever be dropped in a song…especially since he had the whole fire scheme going on before that
Em is the only artist whose song I can listen to 100 times and get goosebumps every damn time.
When Wayne said, 'I don't go around fire expecting not to sweat'. It was the 1st time Em showed up in the video. It symbolizes the fire bars that Em brings to the table and how he makes rappers up their game or he bodies them. Also, if Wayne, 'thinks about more than he forgets' it's talking about his own bars and how he's not going to just let Em body him on his own track.
Yeah people don’t catch these small details bruh
@@chewwyc Yeah but he washed Wayne on that
I was just about to say something similar when I saw your post...
Wayne even said he had to put all he had into this one. He couldn't let Em take his shine, like he does everyone else. They both killed this one. Amazing song!
Em is my fav rapper but Wayne was spot on saying he ain't just gonna be on the track to let Em body . Both were 🔥 🔥
He does show up before that, but that’s the first time he shows up in the shot with Wayne
Wayne does have a way of making nonsense lines sound deep af and I love it. But nobody could have competed with Em that day. No one. ✌️☝️❤️
Wayne said had to go back and re-spit his bars after hearing eminem's. This is one of the greatest collaborations in hip hop history
Not on this song, also love how you said re-spit Wayne can’t ever rewrite when he never writes!
The intensity in the production and Eminem's flow is incredible
This song is what I consider one of the greatest rap singles of all time.
The emotion and rawness from both these masters is fire. It has quickly become one of my top Em songs without even a second thought.
this track along with Not afraid helped me through a tough time in my life. I'll always cherish Em is 🐐
Great reaction.. 17:33 says it all when it comes to EM’s flow. This track is a perfect example of the EM paradox. Wayne’s verse was way harder (in terms of meaning) but EM’s flow is so sonically pleasing and his technicals are practically flawless so he still manages to outshine whoever he’s doing a colab with. Once you add in his wordplay on top of it all, you have the reason why EM has the standing that he does.
This right here is why there will never be another Em. There's talent and greatness in ither artists, but he embodies a whole level of mastery and even tries to better himself by studying everyone around him.
Yeah its like if he is making hand made art but is precise as machine. So you appreciate the result even more.
@@juliemcneeley8491 The craziest thing about EM (not including his warped mind) is his understanding / mastery of music theory. EM has a grade 8 education; meaning there is no chance he formally took “music” growing up. Yet the man does things within music theory that people with the highest level degrees cannot understand. If you are someone who simply appreciates his music, what he does makes you a fan. If you are someone heavy into bar breakdowns, you can appreciate him that much more. If you are someone studying cadence / flow / delivery - EM has some of the best, period. If you are someone trying to learn fast flows, EM has that for you too. If you are someone that enjoys all of that and you have a music theory background, EM quite literally stops you in your tracks and makes you question most of what you learned. For those that don’t understand, on most tracks, EM is not an artist simply rapping on a beat. EM understands all levels of the instrumental and finds pockets to BECOME a part / an instrument within the beat. Doing that w/ his ability to rhyme words (+ his diverse vocabulary) and you have a rap monster that will only improve as he gets more experienced. EM knows what it takes to keep pushing himself. I seriously don’t know how anyone will touch the man; he’s now so far ahead of the game.
EM had some bars and punches in it
@@SuperHns I completely agree and personally, in my opinion, believe EM had the better verse. Having said that, I can also see why some would like Wayne’s verse more; it all depends on what you can relate to. From a pure technicals perspective (cadence / flow / delivery / pockets / inner-outer syllabic rhyme patterns & schemes) it hands down goes to EM. When you can truly appreciate what EM does, it takes a lot of his tracks to an entirely different level that most in the scene / culture / genre don’t appreciate.
I know this is a old song and I ain’t heard it much but now in 2023 I can’t stop listening to it. Em just proved on this song why he gets called the 🐐 🎉
When he said he's in bleet mode 🔥🔥
Wayne set this verse up so well for Em. It started with his simple flow and bars for days. Then he said I dont go around fire expecting not to sweat. He knew doing a colab with Em he had to come hard. Then at the end of the hook Wayne says get em. Add Wayne's ad libs to Em's verse hyping it up all the way through and this joint is just magic.
🎯
This song is what got me to really start listening to Lil Wayne! His lyrics are so simple but they hit HARD! And Em f-in kills it in this song as always 🔥
Wayne is hands down one of the best if not the best rapper with metaphors. Legend for sure
Wayne cleared that up in an interview, the fire bar....he said, Em bodies everyone on collabs, but he wasnt going to be that guy
I love the way Lil Wayne expresses himself in this song. The combo between these two GOAT'S.....IS AMAZING! 🔥🔥🔥 Wayne knows he's gotta bring it on a song with Eminem! He said it himself ..."That boy is a monster"! He was gonna make sure he didn't get bodied! 😁 There aren't too many artists where they have to worry about getting bodied like that! But Eminem is always "The One" they know they have to worry about! There styles just work so well together! Eminem and Lil Wayne have great respect for each other! Thats why they have more than one collab together! Eminem in still at the top of the game!!! No one can take that from him! The "go back to the lab" part...I think he was referring to the song "Forever"!
Definitely is about forever and Kanye specifically. It was known and spread around that Kanye rewrote his verse for forever after hearing ems verse. And the way he introduces that line is even better “where tf is Kanye when you need him”.. etc.
2 🐐🐐 with ridiculous skills!!!! When Eminem's verse starts Wayne says get em!!! That shit is 🔥🔥🔥!!!! Love the videos. God bless!!!!
Get em = he knows what's about to happen 🔥🔥🔥🔥🧯
Not 2 only 1 goat Wayne is not in Eminem n other jay-z lvl yet
@@Kobamaron13 dude. Wayne has been beyond Jay Z skill wise in any capacity since the early 2000’s. 😂 Jay is a great businessman though
Just fire!
"When Kanye West Heard Eminem's Verse On "Forever" He Went Back And Took Two Days To Rewrite His"
There’s an interview where all 3 say they rewrote their verses after hearing em’s.
Not only Kanye and to add fire to the fuel em had his written ages ago and still smashed forever like it was NATHING xD Hes so dope =p
Exactly can't remember the song but Em throws out the line. "Sorry, I took Forever" referencing how he destroyed everyone on that track.
@@jrcarter312 The song your referring to is Fall by Eminem 😊
One of my favorite Eminem verses 🤯🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lil wayne went crazy on this song and Em flow was unbeatable thy both did their thing i love it
Eminem rapping style is so awesome. His voice is really amazing.
i think this is one of the best collabs of all time. Wayne is involved the whole way through the song and i LOVE that. Usually guest vocalists either just do the hook or their own verse and then aren't part of the song in any other aspect. Wayne doubling up em and ad-libbing the hook is just... so good.
Alfred’s theme by Eminem will blow your mind
10000 bars 🤣
Bars on bars on bars. Headache, anxiety producing bars 🤣
Agreed it’s FIREEEE
Bar heavy
He might be better off just skipping that one lol.
ive heard this 1000 times and my hair was standing up on my arms goosebumps from em
I think about more than I forget is referring to the fact that he doesn't write down his rhymes but he remembers more than he forgets. "Fire" is Em so he isn't going around him expecting not to put in hard work "sweat". They go together because on multiple tracks Em has a reputation of making other rappers need to rewrite new bars because is lays down dragon breath when gets to the mic. It's one thought meaning that Wayne is bringing the heat too but he is expecting to need work to keep up with the best. He is giving respect to Em.
When Em picks up a pen everyone's ears perk up Wondering how many layers and who's getting mentioned and who's catching shots and what current event he's gonna speak on
Facts
Still today...I'm 56 and Em is my FAV....EAST LONDON UK.....
He’s been the king from the day he held a 🎤
How can wayne be your favourite rapper but u never heard no love, one of his best verses of all time
Em is really of the mindset that more rappers should be.... Why make enemies when you can make money!
Both of them killed this beat but I like how Em’s verse was building in intensity and speed as he went through it.
I don't go around fire expecting not to sweat... I take this as I don't get on a track with Em and expect it to be easy.
NO ONE killed no one two Goats combined for instant timeless banger so much depth to the song!!!
This is still one of my favorite records from Eminem ❤️❤️
He's the best, Slim goes straight to a different gear
Eminem is the greatest lyricist of all time. If you haven't review his song "the ringer".... Insane. His song with logic "homicide", and his song with Joyner Lucas "lucky you".... Some of the best modern Eminem LITERALLY gave me chills first time listening to the one with logic. Keep up the good work with your channel y'all are doing great work.
Side note. SUBSCRIBED. I use to rap years ago and you descriptions are accurate and on point. You actually know what your talking about.
Zeus, no regret, and the other one with royce
I like Wayne a lot, but EMINEM, no words
🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
I used to listen to this one back in high-school, ot was such a big hit when it came out, my grade school days were bad, always got bullied, and when I was in high-school, this song just motivated me more before I graduated, and after I graded, I left my hometown, and never been home in 7 years, hearing this again, with your reactions, warms my heart, you guys found a true gem, put this in yo Playlist
This is his recovery era, when he came back hard after relapse.
I’m a Stan 24 years and I’m as old as remembering dancing to the original sample of no love in the teen disco 😂😂🇮🇪❤️
I absolutely love people like this. They show me so much that missed or didn’t get in these songs. I love rap and it’s by far my most listened to genre of music. Have like 400 in a rap playlist and like 60 in an r&b playlist, which ik isn’t rap like Wayne and em. But I just do understand lyrics like a casual, because I’m just enjoying the songs so much. But the intricacy’s of rappers like these 2 is beyond my comprehension when listening.
em and wayne are gifts to the genre
one of the best rap songs of all time
Eminem's energy is off the chain!
This is where u find the greatest rap verse of all time ,
I hope em and wayne make more music
Just found you guys and love the intelligent and honest discussions when speaking on music. No biases based on race or anything else. I also love how you notice and talk about the rhyme schemes, song structures, flows, the writing. It’s not just about catching bars but the whole song writing. One of the best reactors for sure.
Are they actually good?
I've only heard seen 3 vids and it's all Eminem.
One has no k owledge and the other has some knowledge of him At least.
I do like some of the breakdowns, on the wrong parts quite ofte
n it seems
Em is the GOAT. He just makes very thing a little bit better.
Love how y’all break down each bar. Keep ‘em coming
Great song, been in my Playlist forever and drop the world is another one of my favorites
Y’all make sooooo much more sense now that I know y’all stoned AF!!! Love knowing I’m not alone
Fr 😂
They DO Bleat my guy! Killer reaction too. You're both damn good at breaking down. Keep the fire up!
I can’t remember if it ever released on radio but it was legit. I remember when it released. I’ve always been a Wayne and Em fan, I grew up in the generations where they were up and coming. I remember sitting in my room and listening to Em and Wayne rap and feeling like they were speaking to me. Being a poor kid from a terrible household, on some days, their music was what helped me keep going.
Dam same story as me lol
Same, this was a good time in music, I picked the world up from my bedroom and drop it on y'all fking head. Lol with no love lost no love found.
I remember it released on radio in Florida and they accidently broadcast it without censuring the curse words and it created a shit show down here for that station for a couple of days lol. I was like uh.... Someone getting fired or the radio just got bad ass out of nowhere.
Its been played on radio in Norway. Numerous of times
Same for me & it was played here in the UK charts.
My favorite Em verse is on Best Friend with Yelawolf 🔥
I love both Em and Waynes wordplay...
Em the 👑 fan everywhere, no one safe 🔥🔥🔥
This shit is so 🔥🔥🔥 I forgot how damn good this track is. Wayne lays down some of his best work and em still comes in hot. Daaaaamn ima bump this on the Energies now
He sounds like a fucking Orchestra
👌🔥
Em's flow ans timing is unreal...add relevant verses to current world happenings💥💥💥💥
They Need To Make A Album
This is the best rap from Eminem
Most intense em song i hear never tired of it
These two together 🔥 love the respect
When your two favorites make a banger! It lights you up for life! Number 1 jam here in my book.
Lol neither of these people are versed/ inundated but I do LOVE the fact the slightly younger gen is respecting and breaking down Em.
This might be my favorite rap song.
Sheep "bleat" like pistols "brrrrat"
I not a big rap fan, but 2000-2010 were some great tracks that I remember fondly today. Cinderella Man was hated on by a lot of people that I knew, but it became an anthem for me.
This was a great song still is just old by now lol good to see u cover it
Your chemistry together is quality 👌
Legendary BANGER 🔥 this has been the on the playlist since it first dropped
You gotta hear Drop The World, the beat is nice, and Wayne and Em, go off.
That whole ending was a shot at kanye for rewriting his forever verse
I remember hearing this song on my local pop radio station when I was addicted to COD MW2 😂 I miss hearing fire ass rap like this on mainstream radio
this might be one of my top three em verses ever. last verse of my dad’s gone crazy is deep asf too.
Bleat...The sound of a GOAT.
This song was the jam back in the day
Such a hit
I’m in bleat mode😂😂😂 🐐
Y’all are that show that’s so bad its good. I have to watch it. I think about more than I forget is referring to how he doesn’t write anymore. He memorizes, freestyles, and improvises. When he does shows he literally needs the lyrics printed out for him sometimes because he’s freestyled so many songs he can’t remember the words.
In NYC this song was a hit for sure. It was on the radio for a while.
This has always been one of my favourites 😊
This song can wake up a person from coma😅🔥
Such a banger
This is one of my all time fav verses from Em. Sing for the moment verse 3 is my no.1 & this is my 2nd. He absolutely killed it! I love the “set fire to mic & ignite the crowd” passion in his voice gives me chills espec knowing his story coming back from overdose & this was straight after he returned on the forever track & bodied everyone on it! Wayne was also superb but Em was another level 🔥
Like I've been saying that forever now W opinion but I love aloha em songs but those 2 are up there
Wayne out here uppin' Em. 💯
Trust me, you're not the only one who had to stop for a second and rewind to confirm that this dude made a fire bar out of roasted marshmallow.
Em killed everyone on every song
Favorite song by Em
this is one of a kind collab that im glad hapened
🔥 🔥 they need more colabs
Wayne N Em are my 🐐 🐐 IMO
Wayne is the goat. For him to respect em the way he does, humble himself, and still elevate his shit to not get shown up by em.... he recognizes greatness, bows before it but keeps eye contact. Wayne knows.
Love your Chanel Keep it the good work. 🐐
Excellent you brought that up Eminem is an Alien and he kiied this track.
Eminem is a rap god. Facts.
Em verse has straight bars 🔥
