It was so nice of you to feature Goldfinches this week. They are our state bird and have always been a part of my experience no matter what part of NJ I find myself in. I love their song and their resemblance to canaries which I raised for many years. Besides they are yellow, my favorite color for almost everything. Have a great Market!
A bird bird, bird. Bird is the word. Wishing you great success and a wonderful time at Market. In case you missed it, Vonna gave you and your Market releases a fabulous shout out. Take good care!
I just love your voice!! Every time I hear watch your videos, it makes me smile and calm. Thank you for continuing to do your videos. I love them and learn something every time.
Love your new market releases and also enjoyed the info about the goldfinches…they have such a pretty song. I can’t wait until it is nice enough to hear the birds again. I hope I hear a bird that sings ‘potato chip’!
I will miss you but understand how much work you have ahead of you. Your designs are so amazing. Talk about scale seeing Sunny and your dogs🤣. Take care
Wonderful video, I have had many Gold Finches flocks of these birds has been amazing! But then again northern MN hasn’t had winter…Spring definitely on its way…Phenomenal finished framed pieces 🤩♥️. Always enjoy seeing dog videos makes my heart happy they all played wonderfully, Love it. 🐾 Enjoy your time at market. 🤗♥️ LaNelle
I will probably stitch on some gifts for my kids that should have been done a long time ago! That BIRD Sampler is awesome! I always love the puppy videos.
I’m drawn to any design with a bird. They have been my favorites since age 10. Another favorite is your In Praise of Pollinators!! Many floss tubers are naming it at the top of their preorder requests. 🎉
Yes finishes beautiful of yours and other stitchers. Congratulations Lindy stitcher said you were the perfect order pattern, the “Pollinators”. The yellow finches are sp pretty, but I love birds. Strength and blessings at market…
I love the big at Market is super successful and bird sampler. I, too, find the differences in scale so cool. I hope that Market is super successful and loads of fun for You. I have to admit that Your release of "In Praise of Pollinators" is one of my favorites from this years Market. Take care and have fun.
I can hardly wait to stitch a new pattern from Romy's Creations, Caticornia! Omg, just watching your great video and my name was called for the fabric!!!
Loved to learn more about Goldfinches 😊 I am looking forward to stitch a Blue Flower design since I finished my Huckleberry Farm. I think I will choose one with a bird. Wishing you lovely market days!
Love the bird in the Hester Garlick 1852 pattern. Having to take a break for a few days from my stitching too. Arthritis flared up in my hands from stitching so much. Have fun at market.
Goldfinches are a favorite bird for me as well. I love that they can eat upside down at special feeders. I’m looking forward to stitching so much. Maybe my first Nora Corbett next. But that may change at any moment. In Vonna Pfeiffers last video she really praised your ability to design animals, in case you haven’t seen that. Good luck at market!
I loved stitching anything with a bird in it. As far as what I’m looking forward to stitching I really want to start Night Walked Down as I was finally able to get the called for linen from Kitten Stitcher. It’s so beautiful I want to stitch it exactly as called for. Wish you all the best at market you’re an amazing designer!
Those finishes are fabulous! We do get Finches here in WI, but not yet, its still very cold. They are a beautiful bird. The puppies are silly! Looks like Dunkel & Sunny have a lot of fun! Good luck at market. Marilyn
I cannot say that I have ever heard potato chip when I listen to the goldfinches in the yard; but I assure you I will be listening even harder this spring ha,ha. I missed them last fall in my garden because woodchucks destroyed my coneflowers after they came up and I wasn't able to tend my garden last year. Will be planting a few more this spring. The traditional purples do best for me as far as coming back the following year. Have fun at market!!
Last year we were very lucky and happy to have European goldfinches nest in our garden in the UK. I'm sure they were attracted to the cardoon ( artichoke thistle) plant we have which is great for pollinators and now I find finches. Fingers crossed they return this year.Hedgehog and Hyacinth is one of my pre orders and I'm looking forward to stitching it soon .Enjoy market.
Have safe travels to Market! Hope all goes smoothly! I'm looking forward to stitching from stash this year. There are so many designs lingering in my collection that I'm hoping to give some love to this year😊
Last weekend the yard was a bird sanctuary Front And Back! How joyful to watch them in the berry tree and butterfly bush. 🐦 🍒 🦋 Really appreciatec your bird report on the pretty yellows. 💝 💛 Thank you for the fun dog vid ! 🐕 🎶 The pineapple squirrels with Hawaiian shirts!! So adorable!! 👕 🐿 🍍 Im really looking forward to stitching on Moolight Sampler. I have a beautiful mottoed purple fabric for it. 💜 🌚 🦉 👧 But i keep misplacing it, so I might be subconsciously saving it to either give to my daughter or to stitch with her in a mother/daughter SAL 🪡 ✨️
Awww thank you for showing off my pieces! They were so fun to stitch! Golden finches were my grandmother's favorite bird. She would sit in front of my parents window in Michigan and watch them for hours. I ordered 10 patterns from market and can't wait to stitch all of them! I also ordered Bakers Wife by mirabella this will be my first one. I've been wanting to stitch one for a while now. I'm going to start it on my 33rd birthday in May (so I can easily keep track of how long it takes me lolz).
My backyard is getting active with the American Goldfinch bird as well. But the black bears are also active as my bird feeder pole was knocked over yesterday and the seeds and cakes were eaten. The footprints left in the remaining snow look like they are from a mom and her baby. We see black bears all the time even in winter as they really do not hibernate, but this raid on my feeders was the first this winter. We co-exist with the bears as well as we can because you know, they were here first! I can be in my garden and they will walk through the yard and pay me no mind.🐻🐻
I'm excited to start stitching Act of Ged, Long Dog's new design, as a leap day start. It will be my first Long Dog sampler. I'm holding off on market purchases, but only FOR NOW. Hester's bird is beautiful
I’m looking forward to continuing to work on my full collection of Prairie Schooler Santas. I’ve finished 11 so far! Our bird feeders have been very busy all winter; we get goldfinches, dark-eyed juncos, house finches, bush tits, black-headed grosbeaks, and hummingbirds.
I'm looking forward ro stitching something I have wanted to do for a few years; Good Company by the Scarlett House. It's from 2013 and I gradually collected all the Belle Soie silks and the right color linen over time. I hope you have a wonderful market and a safe trip to Tennessee.
If I have to pick an market pattern I’m most looking forward to stitching, it has to be Teresa Kogut’s Sacred Heart - but what is interesting is that Long Dog Sampler, Sacre Coeur would be my most anticipated older pattern at the moment I’m looking forward to stitching! It’s not a devotion I have a particular devotion to, but my husband and I were married at a church dedicated to the Sacred Heart, and clearly that’s going to be a theme for me in stitching for a while! (Now I just need to be on the lookout for a Divine Mercy chart as that *is* a devotion I have an affinity for!) And I’m horrible at figuring out how to work words into my comment, so: bird. Lol.
Gooood eeevening. I laughed along with you. You said Vincent Price, (a classic in his own right!), but I know you meant Alfred Hitchcock. My next stitching project is going to be Sunflower Street Sampler by Victoria Sampler. Very pretty yellows in the pattern, just like the goldfinches!

Enjoy market!!! I so wish I was a little bird flitting around seeing all the pretties!!!
Thank you for all the info on Goldfinches. They are my favorite bird.
I really like gold finches as well. The sampler with the bird is really a fun one. Thank you for your beautiful designs!
Enjoyed seeing you again. Have a wonderful time at Market. I love every bird. They are so beautiful!. See you soon.
This is the time of year I start pruning my roses. I love when I find a bird nest in the middle of a large bush.
I just love your voice!! Every time I hear watch your videos, it makes me smile and calm. Thank you for continuing to do your videos. I love them and learn something every time.

So nice to see you pop up while I’m watching flosstube! Can’t wait for Market 😍😍
I love your featured bird this episode. We have goldfinches here in Canada and I didn't realize they were strictly seed eaters. Enjoy Market!
The American goldfinch is the state bird of Iowa.
Love the flowers in the chart

I can’t pick a Market favourite. They are all so good! A pattern with a bird is always one of my favourites though. Safe travels to Market.

Good luck at Market, Jeannine! I have ordered quite a few patterns and some fabric and can’t wait for them to arrive.
Have a wonderful Market! I’m looking forward to stitching the bat and the moth in the Spooky Autumn Smalls series. Finishing up the raccoon now.

Thank you for the visit. I would be a bird and fly away instead of going to market, it is too busy, but I hope you enjoy the time you have there.

I had to laugh, because I never realized that my Vincent Price sounds just like Alfred Hitchcock! This is why I really can't do spooky. 🤣
Is your forest pattern available (that goes with ocean pattern)?
It is! It's called "Forest Home" and you can get the pdf through my website or any cross stitch shop can get you a printed copy. ❤❤
@@theblueflower2115 thanks so much!
