Omg ❤ your channel name “Lost My Needles” made me laugh out loud. I’m not sure how I found your channel but I’m so happy I did. It’s great to see a mother-daughter team. Congratulations on over 1000 subscribers already! ❤❤❤
Hello, we had asked for recommendations for new to us Flosstubes and someone mentioned yours. Love your enthusiasm, mother-daughter interaction, and projects! We will mention you in our next video. Keep stitching and filming!❤
I just found your flosstube after Pam & Stephanie of "Just Keep Stitching" talked about You last week. I too have lost needles in the oddest of places. I have lost them in the Infusion Center where I get treated for my MS, in an airplane, in my bed (boy that was wcary!!!) and at a doctor's office. I also have familiar tremors along with Multiple Sclerosis. I blame the MS Monster for having the dropsies. I lost my Mom several years ago during a surgery to replace her pacemaker. I was devastated, but as time has passed I am glad that she was not afraid, She just slipped away. Five years later my Father died. He never recovered from the loss of Mom, so Parkinson's added to his grief just did him in. I am not sure where You are going, but I hope that Your daughter keeps the channel going while You have a wonderful trip. GOD BLESS, Linda
Loving your FlossTube, welcome to a truly amazing community! It was so fun to hear about your adventure at The Attic & how much you are enjoying all of the things! 🥰 Thank you for showing your Poltergeist Pirates WIP- that moon is fantastic! I also love the Christmas ornament stitch- I have had my eye on that one! Looking forward to your next video! 😊
So glad I found your channel. I have enjoyed watching all of your videos. I’m also a card maker and right now am taking a break. Both of my parents passed nine weeks from each other (October to December of 2023) and am finding it hard to want to make cards. Also, my craft room is getting an overhaul - waiting on countertops now. My favorite hobby is counted cross stitching. There’s something that is peaceful about stitching. Enjoy your vacation. Also, thank you for talking about your faith!
I'm so glad you two started your flosstube and I found it when searching for cross stitch channels! I'm just getting back into cross stitching after many years now that my children are grown and on their own. I've got your channel set to give me notifications so I can watch right away when you post! 🙂Congratulations on your channel's success! Now, off to watch #4 so I can see if you made the cut for the retreat! (I've never been on one either but one day hope to attend!)
I love watching your flosstube. I just got home (Colorado) from being in AZ. I went to The Attic. I agree with all you said. It is like a museum with a great gift shop. I dont have any cross-stitch stores near me, so I love going to AZ and to the Attic. Dont miss Shepherds Bush when you go to SLC. It is another amazing cross-stitch store in Ogden, UT, not far from SLC. It is a great treasure that you will fall in love with. And the ladies there are wonderful, also. Don't lose your Needles, ladies. Keep stitching.
When I started my flosstube last summer I was completely monogamous and often fully finished before moving to the next project…my last video was over an hour as I showed everything I am working on and had finished. Let’s see where you two are in six months. Have a safe trip.
I love all the projects you both have been working on, and such a great haul! Can't wait to see more videos over the coming months. I used to drop and lose my needles all the time, but since starting to use needle minders, I've gotten much better at keeping track of them!
Love the name of your floss tube, lost our needles. You had a great video. Happy Valentines Day, it’s my anniversary of 48 years to the same man, crazy. Love the spool and the witchy chart. Love you guys.
You two are doing great. It takes a lot of courage to start a floss tube. Obviously I don’t have courage or a daughter that I can stitch with together. I have 2 wonderful daughters and 2 wonderful daughter in laws. But none are stitchers. My daughter in Florida stitches sometimes. Hope you are having a great vacation and a great school year. My daughter in Utah teaches fourth grade.
Hi, Lost Our Needles! You’re so much fun, and your stitching is gorgeous! I haven’t lost any needles - but give me time. Your subscribers are approaching 3k, so congratulations!
I, too, am losing my NEEDLES, both literally and figuratively! My husband came to me with a needle he found on the kitchen floor just this evening. Have no idea how it got there. Love your videos. I am restarting my cross stitching after a decade and couldn’t be happier to see all the wonderful floss tubes out there. You two are adorable….keep the videos coming!
Love all your stitching! Glad Washington DC went well, glad gallbladder surgery went well. I am truly a monogamous stitcher, if I have two projects going, I get too stressed. So in other words, I’ll never start all the wonderful projects I have kitted, trying to be on a no buying spree. Went to 123 Stitch the other day, it was like I was possessed, next thing I knew I had a cart full and bought it! So much for resolutions! I hope you get your Colour and Cotton fabric before you leave, you will love it. I’m lucky, I live in St Louis, so Colour and Cotton is my local needlework shop! Lucky for my, not my wallet! Enjoy all your plans and stitching!
You’re a new flosstube and I’m glad I found you! I sympathize with your loss; it is so devastating, I lost my 41 y/o son suddenly. I love your ambitious pattern choices; such excitement to get started. We love this craft, right?! Needle needle needle :)
I'm so very sorry about the loss of your son. In many ways, the loss of child is harder than a spouse. It's not the way its supposed to work. You will be in my prayers!
Y'all are fantastic!!! Such general happiness is so nice to see in a world that is sometimes so grumpy. I lost my needles many moons ago so you are in good company. Have a lovely trip!
Hello! Found your floss tube through Just Keep Stichin. Really enjoying your content. Enjoyed your stories about baking. Salt is an interesting ingredient, adds so much flavor but too much makes food inedible. We have all done it. Don’t give up Alie, homemade bread is the best. Had to chuckle at your story Amy of no sugar in the pumpkin pie. The first time my mom cooked dinner for my boyfriend now husband she forgot the sugar too. So bad! And my sister-in-law said her mom did the same thing when they had her boyfriend now husband over for dinner. Good thing it wasn’t a deal breaker in the relationships.😂 Hope you both have a good day. Stephanie from Northern Maine where we definitely get lots of snow.☺️☃️
Congrats on all your subscribers - well deserved. The Attic sounds like a fantastic place. Hopefully you will have success in keeping track of your needles!!
I love your flosstube! I love the relationship that you two have! I have had several strokes and seizures and and I'm finally able to cross stitch again... and am always losing my needles... lol
Lovely stitching and video. I, too, recently purchased that booklet from Blackbird Designs. I started the cardinal; such a fun stitch, but take a look at THE CHRISTMAS GARDEN. Pictures never truly show a design, but this hangs on the wall behind 3 different flosstubers i watch. It's so pretty and only a few colors. I may brighten those up when I kit it. I just can't decide. Watch for it, and you'll fall in love with it. I thoroughly enjoy watching you and your daughter. Her enthusiasm is contagious, but you and I both get that same zing when we see those new patterns and start one. May we never lose that. Have a great trip, and I'll look forward to your next video.
I’m loving your videos! I wish my daughters loved to stitch. Such a great name for your channel bc I lose my needles all the time too! Have fun on your trip!🥰
Congratulations on reaching that many subscribers! I have been watching all of your videos these past few weeks and just realized that I hadn't hit the subscriber button---but I have now. 😊 Thanks for sharing everything. I have really enjoyed watching. I am always dropping my needles while stitching, so I love the name of your flosstube.
Hello from Tennessee! Enjoyed stitching with you both again today. So fun to see a mom and daughter crafting together. Your needles are hot with all those wonderful projects! Can't wait to see you again soon. ❤❤❤
Just found your floss tube and so far I haven’t lost my needles. It’s fun to hear your MICHIGAN comments and memories. We moved from Genesee County to the Louisville, Kentucky area this past year. Our boys each moved to KY to teach in 2012 and 2015 so of course we felt the need to join them.
Enjoy watching your videos. Great couple of water containers - great to get the fam involved. My girls while in middle school went on Close Up trips - great opportunities. Keep up with the videos, stitching, and not losing more needles!
I love watching you ladies and it is so great to see a mom and Daughter doing this craft together. I always stitched with the Pat Carson needles wish they had not gone out of business. Welcome to floss tube ladies!!!
Welcome to Flosstube. I love watching your videos. Amy I'm glad your recovering from your surgery. Have fun on your trip. So far I've only lost a couple of needles this last year. Thanks to you I have Zucca in my cart at 123 Stitch. Looking forward to your next video.
Have a great trip & be kind to yourself, no time limit for grief. Our wonderful Queen said ‘ grief is the price we pay for love’ . Happy stitching ❤️❤️🧵❤️❤️
Just found your flosstube and so glad I did. I need to make a trip to The Attic after hearing and seeing your haul. Since I'm kind of close in New Mexico, maybe I'll pick up a needle while I'm there.
You ladies are the sweetest! I wish I could share this hobby with either my mom or my daughter and lose our needles too! But keep those videos coming! Love all your finishes and WIPS! Have a great vacation Amy!
Started to watch your first floss tube a week or so ago and am just getting back to finish it this morning! You both kept me company whilst I was cutting up my veggies for chicken noodle soup! I am now caught up and have subscribed to Lost Our Needles! I do occasionally have that happen also! Love your videos and I too am trying(although I’ve already bought some patterns this year) to not purchase many patterns. I have fabric, patterns, and some flosses bought and need to begin working on those! It is quite an enabling community though! So many beautiful things to stitch and now……here come the market releases! Anyway, blessings to you both and happy stitching!
I am so glad you guys decided to make flosstubes. Congrats on your finishes, Ally! You stitched those up fast! The cups your sister made are so sweet! Y’all are so talented! Have a wonderful cruise, Amy, and make sure to take plenty of needles!! Happy stitching!
Sending love from the Netherlands, Europe! Love your vlogs and the interaction between the two of you. You remind me of my daughter and me, a kind of Gilmore girls vibe, you could call it? Also beautiful patterns and lots of them 🥰. Looking forward to your next flosstube. And oh yeah, enjoy your vacation!
Thank you for reminding me of a fun memory. I visited my sister (we lived 1,500 miles apart) and made quick cinnamon rolls for breakfast. She had me write out the recipe so she could make them again. Important note .. my sister was an amazing baker, known for her delicious cookies. Anyway, we were talking a week or so later and she said she tried making my cinnamon roll recipe, but it didn’t turn out. The rolls didn’t rise and they tasted very salty. I had her read the recipe to me. When she said “one tablespoon salt”, I said “that can’t be right, did I actually write tablespoon?”. She said “It says one tsp.” Oh NO!!! That was my abbreviation for teaspoon. We laughed about that kitchen mishap for years. It’s a treasured memory as I lost her in 2010. I miss her and I’m so glad for my memories. We also shared a love for NEEDLE crafts. I have two crocheted blankets she made. She made a block of the month type embroidered quilt. I think one of her children has it.
I'm loving your videos and how great that you got to go to The Attic I have only visited our LNS (Needle In A Haystack) it's about an hour drive if traffic is good, not an easy drive) once. I have a small stitch group and we went together in July Needles (love the name) I am going to Stitch West in April This will be my first stitch retreat. I'm a big scrapbooker and have gone to many scrapbook retreats. congratulations on your subscribers you deserve it
Yeah for you ladies!! Have been with you from the beginning! We have much in common… born and raised in Michigan, transplanted to AZ, cross stitcher… Have a great trip and will see you when you return! Great stitches, love that you made a trip to the Attic!!
I really enjoy your FlossTubes. It’s so refreshing to watch you discover new things about cross stitch that many of us are already familiar with…the lure of all the charts…and the fabric…and the fancy floss…and breaking our resolutions so quickly! LOL! Kindred spirits! I also signed up for the waitlist for the Stitch West Fall retreat. I am going to their Spring retreat in April, featuring-wait for it- Primrose Cottages!!! Have a safe and fun trip!
So appreciate you two, losing loved ones is very difficult but watching floss tube and making virtual friends has kept me at peace and love that we all share a passion we love. I live in Phoenix and visit the Attic at least once a quarter because I find myself starting projects before finishing. lol. I’ve got many WIPs. Have fun on your trip and be safe. Oh and I lost a needle in my blanket while watching the Suns game and lost another at my bowling league night; thankfully found both. :). Happy February!
Congrats on all your subscribers. By the time I watched on Thursday evening you jumped to 1.75 subscribers. Love your content. You 2 are a blast to watch. Needles
Hello Ladies... I too live in the PHX Metro area originally from Massachusetts, so I relate. So great to meet you! Sorry for the loss of your obvious love of your life. I (we) too haven't "celebrated" Valentine's Day in forever, but this year I decided to make a quick LOVE pillow which can be displayed all year long. Like you, I came back to cross stitching after 30 years and oh my - gone are the days of ducks and cows and backstitching. The designers today truly are artists. So many shiny new things to stitch. I am on pins and needles in anticipation for your next video.
Once again a great video. For the record I have learned not to make deals with myself about purchasing cross stitch patterns or fabrics, I loose every time. I try now to think about where I would put a piece after it is finished. If I can see it in my mind I usually buy it. I remind my self I can always which pieces out haha. We have a running joke in our house when I loose needles my husband say even me a day or so I am sure I will step on it. Then he gets up and helps search. It less painful that way. I hope you have a wonderful trip and a blessed day.
SO happy that you decided to create a Flosstube together, you are both naturals! Lost Our Needles is such a great name! None of my besties stitch so FlossTubes make me feel connected in a different, but meaningful way. Looking forward to future FlossTubes!
Welcome ladies to the cross stitch community! I have enjoyed all of your videos and look forward to many more. Looking forward to seeing more of your projects, inspirations and haul. Thanks for sharing! Needles.
Thank you for joining the floss tube community. Enjoy your video very much, and your excitement for cross stitching which I have been doing for over forty-five years. Enjoy your cruise and keep those needles busy!
I’m so happy for you both for reaching your milestone numbers 1.5 WOW ! I’ve enjoyed watching your videos, and just love the excitement of your daughter getting into cross stitch! I’ve never lost a needle but have recently heard some crazy stories from others on FB ! Enjoy your trip and I can’t wait for your next video!❤️😊
Congratulations on your flosstube success! I enjoy watching the interaction between the two of you as well as following your progress on your stitching! Needles
Love your channel, have heard about the Attic from others, maybe a trip there someday, but I’m on the east coast. Great fun to see what you ladies are creating with your needles!
Happy to see you ladies again! Alie, I just love the Christmas Decor #2, it’s gorgeous! Amy, I hope you wonderful vacation and are able to enjoy time with your friends. Happy Stitching 🧵 🪡 Needles (spool)
Oh my gosh yes, I bought more Juniper because I stitched my Valentine's Day Quaker on the other end of my piece for All is Bright! 😆 The 31st of October pattern would look awesome in an overdyed black like WDW Kohl.
Love you girls!! love the tumblers !!! I hope I don't lose my needles!
Enjoy your trip, Amy! Love your flosstube, Lost Your Needles!
Love the name!!!! Needles are the best!!!! Haha.
I have enjoyed each of your videos so much. Wish I could get as much done in a short time as you all do.
Congrats on your YT success! I’m hoping to one day get my daughter addicted to the needles, too, and love the bond you two share.
Congratulations on your new and growing flosstube. 🎉 needles.

I've lost my needles too! Love your videos!
Hello, we had asked for recommendations for new to us Flosstubes and someone mentioned yours. Love your enthusiasm, mother-daughter interaction, and projects! We will mention you in our next video. Keep stitching and filming!❤
Thank-you so much!!!! Your floss tube is one we watch regularly and really enjoy you both.
Fingers crossed on your retreat. When I go to az love stopping to The Attic. Love the spools. Needles.
I'm sorry about the loss of your parents. I've lost both of parents as well. It's so tough losing loved ones. Keeping you in my prayers!

I would love to visit Color & Cotton some day!
You’re a new flosstube and I’m glad I found you! I sympathize with your loss; it is so devastating, I lost my 41 y/o son suddenly. I love your ambitious pattern choices; such excitement to get started. We love this craft, right?! Needle needle needle :)

I am so glad you guys decided to make flosstubes. Congrats on your finishes, Ally! You stitched those up fast! The cups your sister made are so sweet! Y’all are so talented! Have a wonderful cruise, Amy, and make sure to take plenty of needles!! Happy stitching!
Lost our needles is one of my favorite flosstubes!
Congratulations on all the views, I’m glad I found the lost needles. Happy Valentine’s Day to you both and yes love is always in season 😃
Sending love from the Netherlands, Europe! Love your vlogs and the interaction between the two of you. You remind me of my daughter and me, a kind of Gilmore girls vibe, you could call it? What a wonderful memory! They keep us company when we are missing our loved ones. Thank you for sharing it with us and for watching our video!
I love your idea of using a magnet and reusing the frames I’m definitely gonna do this! 😁
Great Flosstube! Thank you for posting and finding your needles ha ha!
Enjoy spring stitch west! We enjoy Primrose Cottage patterns so much!

Thank you!! 😊
Welcome ladies.glad I found you. You guys are a natural. Will be a subscriber !! God bless. Linda from Rhode Island
Needles
Awesome flosstube! I I found lost our Needles today! Yay!

Oh my goodness, I bet the Valentine's day quaker looks gorgeous on that!
Loved watching your floss tube channel. Just found you today and watched all three...You're so easy and fun to watch! Love your name too!
