If you play PC and have TableTop Sim, someone has a dedicated mod with 4 translated decks: 2 Code Geass and 2 Hunter x Hunter. (Lancelot Green has been my favorite so far) Edit: llama77 and andy are the mod creators, had to give credit where it's due!
got site fan translation for union arena? its so hard to find translation for this card stupid bandai asume like we know freaking translation as its had so faking awful site on inviting SEA player to learn the game.
Weiss Schwartz 2.0 In all seriousness, I fear this game will run out of ways to innovate. The action card system is ok, but It seems like there's a better way of doing it. The energy system is also ok. The concept of saving your cards in order to bring out stronger ones is a neat idea, and the life system has already been done in duelmasters so it's definitely been tried and true. So in short I guess my version of this would be different. Good luck I guess.
Looks fire to me and not as insanely rng as weiss schwarz is.. so looks like there will be much more room to gap your opponents while also getting the coolness of battling ips vs other ips.. I def look forward to trying the tutorial in the metaverse this coming Wednesday and anticipate the English version next October.. still a ton of time to polish the game up prior to English release.. bandai is by no means a rookie to tcgs they'll adapt
I hate when card games just take snap shots of what's in the tv show. Have it drawn or illustrated for unique artwork for the game. These cards will have no collectors value outside of the alt arts which are the only cards with unique illustrations
well yeah, the chase cards are always gonna be money where the commons and shit arent... lol. but most of the alts are also not new art from what Ive seen. But a lot of early sets are like this with later sets getting more original art(at least where bandais concerned). Idk if they'll go heavy into it with this game, but Bandai's OP card game has been getting more and more original art cards with less anime cards as more sets drop.
@KingOfHalla just read this comment and seen new union arena news update. U were right there is a Volume 2 of the original series that came out first with original art coming soon. But it's only for high rares
You can play a character on either Front line or Energy line so long as you have enough energy to play it. Also keep it in mind that even if you play the character card directly from your hand to the front line, it will still be placed rested.
they never mentioned in this video that a character card should be placed in energy line first before moving to front line. you can always directly go there as long as you have enough energy
I think it means success in that battle. Otherwise it'd be a draw and nothing would happen to the cards battling. After initial block is declared they won't take damage at all for that battle is what it looks like
@@LimitlessVisualMedia correct, unless the card has an effect called Impact, which is this games version of piercing if you're familiar with digimon. There are also cards with Impact+X that can essentially give "piercing" with extra "security checks"
I like that backups (energy cards) can become forwards (front line) in this game but everything else seems weird and jarring. Why are there two forms of colour restriction (colour and IP)? Why are there 2 types of mana (AP and energy cards)? Why does AP not increase linearly? Why are there zone size limits? Why do cards come in rested if they can still use effects immediately and are just going to ready and block anyway at EoT? ETC. Plus, worst of all, why are you mandating use of a mindgame rather than RNG to determine start player?
@@BaronKrool If players have played other games and have been complaining about them for decades, then it feels weird for these traits to show up all at once in the same one game. Just because it isn't new doesn't mean it deserves a pass. A bad feature is a bad feature.
Yeah, I was noticing all these issues as well. It really seems like the kind of issues that come from the devs not really being used to how card games play. Considering how all the art is just screenshots from the original shows, it really seems like they were in it for a quick cash grab. Don't want to throw shade tho, it might be the only way these series can be adapted to a card game considering that they could afford the licenses. EDIT: I just realized, why the H' are there two discard piles? It's not explained, and if one is the "Graveyard" and the other is the "Exile Zone", why the H' does life go to one. That just means there are 7 cards that you won't ever use in-game.
This looks like mtg but slower n the cost top left did not have a function at all...just pay 1 cost to activate...i prefer bushiroad n i miss buddyfight😢
@@jameslatorre5558 quite the opposite. Cards can ONLY be mixed if they are from the same anime. Card codes will have a / then 3 letters for the animes code (i.e. Code Geass is /CGH). A lot of great card games that are official in the ph but there is little growth besides enthusiasts that are willing to play JP cards. To be honest, we shouldn't be supportinf this JP cards being repeased as official carda for non japanese speaking countries because as long as we do....they will never change.
This game is way to same-y compared to other card games. I am sure it will be big in the Asian market for a hot minute and in the US/EU it will be dominated by whales who just want to collect shiny cards to put onto a shelf but never play. It's a cleaner looking version of Weiß Schwarz, but will meet the same fate. Really sad.
This game feels like a version of a more restrictive Digimon and slower One Piece.... no where near as fun and tactical as Dragon Ball Super, and less fun than One Piece or Digimon.... I’ll pass on this and stick with Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Digimon 💯

It will be nice if you guys can at least make a website with English translations of the cards so we can play easily.

No series mixing. That's by far my biggest problem with Weiss and I guess it's gonna be the same here. Such a shame.
what do colors mean?
Colors indicate what kind of colors you can have on your deck. Basically you CANNOT mix color even though they are the same anime.
