Don't care how much people try to paint Neal as an awful person, they're blind. Neal was _human_ and he made human mistakes, but his love for Emma was _real_ and _true_ and I do believe Swanfire would have been endgame had he lived.

(Or she chose Tallahassee) and 1 week later, Neal finds out that Emma is wanted for stealing watches in the city of Phoenix and advises him to go to the police and she agrees to go to the police for love of neal and he decides of retrieve the watches . and a month later (While than Emma is in prison) Neal recovers the watches And meet August And he speaks to him of emma and Neal Decides to go see the chief of fireman And to tell emma that he died saving a family from a fire,And decides to give a letter of love for emma to auguste And give her if she discovers the truth about magic or if the curse is broken,And when emma leaves prison she goes to see the fire chief and suspects that neal is always alive.

Ugh im rewatching OUAT and just the history and chemistry between neal and emma, man i iwsh they ended up together. The product of light and the product of dark ending up together and creating the kid who has the heart of the truest believer. A lost boy and a lost girl, as much as i ship hook and emma, emma and neal shouldve been endgame.

Once Upon a Time is one of three shows I stopped watching because a beloved character died.
Neal did not need to die. The way that he was written as to hating magic and then using it to bring his father back never made sense to me, why would he use the one thing that broke his family apart and turned his whole life upside down if he knew the consequences of magic? That was such a slap in the face, the writers stopped caring about the story and making it interesting after season 3 - it became so repetitive and made the characters too fairy tale even Emma. The whole point of the show was to bring fairy tale characters to life in a new perspective, to humanize them more and they made Emma a helpless princess...
Neal was the-real-life-hurts-but-helps-you-grow-character from magic land that balanced Emma’s magically-gifted-true-love-embodiment from the real world and they collided... They were the whole point of the show, magic v nature, believer v non-believer and we’re both heroes.

absolutely my #2 otp of all time. what i loved most about swanfire beside the whole kindred spirits/lost boy and lost girl thing, is that everything is so based on trust and forgiveness. neal makes it clear to emma and henry that he knows he can't just waltz back into their lives. he has to earn his place in them, and he does, without any expectation. in a certain other emma ship, everything was all about how he would "win" her heart and break down her walls, and it all felt very entitled and forced. neal and emma, on the other hand, just *liked* each other. they could so easily bond and make each other laugh--they were friends before they were lovers and the banter between them was so natural and real. and the fact that we all know swanfire was supposed to be endgame before a certain other ship took over...neal, emma, and henry deserved everything, and they just barely got a chance to be a family. thank you so much for this. :')

i cry about this wasted potential. imagine the scenes we would have gotten had their story moved forward. so much to explore. ugh.
Oh gosh. I stopped watching OUAT pretty quickly after Neal died. It took me a little while to warm up to him, but he was easily the most human character in the show. It was a shame the writers chose pretty boy to please fans. I thought seeing a story of forgiveness and reconciliation between Emma and Neal was way more interesting than male model in leather seduces woman who is otherwise not interested. Yeah, they gave him a backstory and from what I can tell also totally reworked his personality... but it couldn't compete with the history between Emma and Neal and the fact that they were a true match of misfits with a lot of commonalities.
Actually I heard that the person who played neal wanted out of the show? So ig the easy way was just to kill the character, not because they wanted hook with Emma.

No offense but I think emma and hook were perfect for eachother they both had their hearts broken and had there walls up when they met eachother then hook took his walls down and slowly convinced emma that she didn't need her walls up with him.

I shipped Emma with graham and hook but I loved Neal & Emma the most because he was her first love and if she could she would choose Neal all over again. I cried so much when he died because they never got a second chance to be together and I knew they both wanted to try again

I always loved this couple and their story, so tragic and so pure!!! tbh I think the whole show really went downhill after neal's death (not necessarily as a consequence but still x'D) I will forever ship these two!!! this video is super good and emotional, thank you!

CaptainSwan is my otp, but this ship/pairing was so beautiful, but it ruined me, their end was heartbreaking. Honestly, these two deserved better. Neal deserved better.
He wanted her to be happy. She is happy. She respected his last wish. I think she tried to be happy for him. He allowed her to have a real second chance in life.

Замечательное видео 😍 Очень растрогалась, хотя отношусь к их с Эммой паре довольно нейтрально 😅 Фраза на 2:35-2:44, на мой взгляд, очень значимая для них, после всех того, что они пережили, страх потерять Нила мотивировал Эмму осознать что ее чувства никуда не исчезли, но проблемы также не исчезли 💔 И нужно было суметь их как-нибудь простить друг друга и начать все с самого начала. Но, к сожалению, сериал обошелся с Нилом жестоко во всем. И родителями, и с возлюбленными и с ребенком, все было очень сложно и закончилось печально. (хотя мне кажется, что изначально планировалось воссоединить их с Эммой и обеспечить счастливый финал со всей семьей, но Эмма/Киллиан оказалась более популярна среди фанатов, и рейтингов ради, беднягу Нила и вывели из сюжета).Но в итоге, все равно показали, что его любовь к Эмме была настоящей. И ты очень красиво показала на 4:32-4:44 что ее счастье - для него самое главное. В другом сериале было: "Любовь - это способность к самопожертвованию, это умение поставить счастье и потребность любимого превыше своих". Я вообще с этим не очень согласна, но для Эммы и Нила это очень в тему) Он хотел действовать ей во благо, но нужно было учитывать и ее мнение, когда принимал решения 💔Спасибо что показала их историю, она достойна такого прекрасного представления ❤
