Being calm and “seeing” everything is key to a fight. As in dont get blinded by excitement or anger. Calm cool and collective with basic technique will win 90% of time. Straight lines and one hand following the other

Id a loved to squared up bare knuckles. Irish flag sash and go 75 rounds in a field. I fought professionally 99-04. And bare knuckles is a tradition i respect greatly

Yes its actually very good for defence, and the hands are closer to opponent making it easy for swift and short punches. It's good for protection against throws and grapples also, which were very much a thing back then

Do you know "king of the streets" on youtube mate? It's the closest thing I've found to modern pugilism before they brought in the rules.
No rounds, basically no rules, no gloves. It's violent like but dam entertaining.
