Man, you dug the whole tribe!! lol. Awesome job on the finds. Cool Button and the glass lid is really cool. The triangle Jean piece is neat also. Congrats on the finds! GL & HH, Jerimy
+JL DIGGER Thanks Jerimy. If I stuck around a little longer I might have dug a ninth indian. I could have had the Cleveland Indians whole starting lineup in my pouch! Lol.
What a Fantastic Episode . Jason .. you have yourself some great spot there dude .. The IHP's are coming out of that sandy soil in beautiful shape ... and I know the snake bothered you but it wasn't intentional I would of reacted the same way
+Dumpsite Digger Thanks man. Yeah the snake was a bummer. I have nudged a few out of my way in the past but would never purposely hurt one. The IHP's were incredible. I really stepped in a lucky patch there. Can't wait to get back there and keep going! Appreciate you stopping by buddy.
+West Texas Tumbleweed When I first dug it up it looked like a small action figure accessory at first glance. I knew it wasn't but my mouth sometimes moves too quick before my brain catches up!
+Guess It Was Fate Thanks buddy. The Indians were awesome. I'm hoping there's some old silver in the area too but I just didn't find it yet. I tried calling Barbie on that phone but she must have cancelled that line when she lost the phone. Lol. Thanks for stopping by.
+Hey Mom Look What I Found!!!! Thank you. That was a banner Indian day for me. Next time out maybe a silver will pop its head out for me! Take care and be safe as well my friend.
+Stephen Post Thank for stopping by. The soil really makes a difference whether the coin will be black and corroded or green and just needs a brush off. I got the luckier of the two spots this time. Lol. Appreciate you stopping by.
I agree with Detectaholic, valve for a tap at 17:18. It is odd to fine that many one cent pieces and no other coins. I bet that place gets a return visit. Great hunt...
Nice video :) The indian head penny's are in amazing state! In most video's i've watched from other people they are in poor state but yours look really good. There has to be silver in that location so GL on your time there and i'm looking foreward on that video.
+Digging History Thank you. I've dug my share of corroded and filthy Indians. I just got lucky and detected a spot with good sandy soil this time. Thanks for stopping by.
great hunt and video :) ... you were like a magnet to those Indian Head Pennies :) .. good interesting relics coming out on this hunt .. the key with the hole in, is a barrel tap key, nice find :) ... take care and HH Tina
+TinaGsx1400 Hmm, a barrel tap key... I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the ID help on it and I appreciate you stopping by. Happy hunting to you as well.
+Metal Detecting NWGA Thanks. I've dug several in the past but never so many in one outing before. Hopefully I can get back there again and get some large cents too, fingers crossed. Take care and happy hunting.
+ronnie b prospecting You are probably right about the stove damper. I thought it was a cool piece and I might run some DC through it and clean it up over the winter. Appreciate you stopping by buddy.
+matthew davis Thanks Matt. I sure am hoping there's some Barbers in that spot. For now they are still being elusive. Always a next time though. Happy hunting brother.
that metal thing you cant id is a wood burning stove top, you pull it off using those holes, stoke the wood and your mason jar lid use to have blue stuff that absorbed humidity
that was a great hunt Jason, all them Indian head coins, I bet you where buzzin, the key to me looks like a wardrobe key, I remember them as a kid here in the UK, might be different over in the US, just my guess, I have just got out of hospital on the 12th May after knee replacement so will be out of action for a while. take care mate GL & HH Tom
+Tom Wood Thanks Tom, I really did have some great luck with the indians. Sorry to hear you'll be out of action for a bit. My father had double knee replacement and it didn't take long for him to get back around better than ever. I'm sure you'll have a speedy recovery and be back again in no time. Take care my friend.
The lid with the glass in it looks like lantern glass. I have a railroad lantern with red glass lenses that are the same exact shape as that one. Its always a possibility.
Quarter Hoarder people here in Michigan are really suspicious of you metal detecting around their places there's a lot of old abandoned houses but people won't let you on them.
If you like history and finding old coins/jewelry it can't be beat as a hobby. The machines are a little pricey but once you make the initial investment you're good to good with just a battery change here and there. Hope you get out and best of luck to you!
+Sick metal detecting Thanks man. The sandy soil makes a huge difference. I've dug some crusty Indians before so I do appreciate when I get a nice soil patch. Happy hunting my friend.
Awesome hunt bro. Go check out the latest video that Chris Turner just uploaded. He found a handful of those triangle things also and said he thought they were some kind of Indian Token, used for prayers or something. He dug them out a bay while searching for some ones ring. They look like the same pieces. Great vid and keep up the cool finds.
+Dub Coco Thanks man. I actually did watch Chris's video and from the face they do look similar. I contacted him to find out what the back of his look like so I'll wait to hear from him. Thanks for the tip and appreciate you stopping by.
Hey man! Great finds and great vid! Looks like you had a blast! And thanks for the shout out man! The kids and I loved it! Until next time, happy hunting!
Awesome old Lantern part , as well as all those old Indian head cents Jason . Don't worry about the Homicide , he was just an old snake in the grass anyways ...lol
+AmericanCoinHunting Thanks Dave. I'm not a big fan of snakes when I have a run in with them in the woods. I try to go around them or maybe just nudge them off the trail but I never even saw this guy until it was too late for him. The Indians were a great treat to almost dig the entire Cleveland starting lineup. Lol. Thanks for stopping by and hope you are enjoying the vacation!
I am a photographer I practice collodion wet plate make my own dry glass plates Van Dyke brown cyanotype Platinum Palladium prints Edward Sheriff Curtis is a legend to me I like your metal detecting video also
My wife is an art teacher so she brings home all the new prints for the house. I don't know a whole lot about most of them but when I saw this Curtis one I really liked it. Sometimes art just speaks to you for some reason and this one did for me.
Congrats on an 8 Indian Head Cent hunt. That's really impressive. Best I've ever done is 6 in a single hunt, and that's only happened once. Twice with 4. But no matter how many come up, I love finding them all.
Great hunt buddy. I find a similar situation at many of my old house sites, Indians but not much else in coins. A couple of them have given up Shield nickels but no silver. Go figure. This is a great spot. Can't wait to see what comes out next. I'm doing a shoutout for your channel and it will be in my next episode that will release on Wednesday. Best of luck.
+Diggin' with Seven Thanks for thinking of me for the shoutout. Really nice of you and I'll certainly check it out (as I would do anyway). The Indians were really plentiful for me and I was sure I would get at least one Barber, but nope just all small coppers. I'm not complaining though. I'll be sure to head back there again. Appreciate you watching my friend and take care.
+WheatPennyPickers My oldest coin is a KG II half penny. I can't get a date off mine but they were made from the late 1720's to 1760, so it's somewhere in that range. Favorite is a tough one, do you mean one that I dug or just in general? Thanks for stopping by.
+REDBEAM58 I thought the big iron was a stove damper but that key was a mystery to me. I figured it wasn't an actual key to anything but a gas light may just be it! Thanks brother
+Jerry Dineen Thanks Jerry. I was one indian away from digging the Cleveland starting lineup! Lol. You are correct about the store damper as well. I'll put it in my electrolysis pile for the winter. Oh how my wife loves my piles!
+Hooked on History I wish I could say I was kidding but I really did think that's how his name was pronounced. When I finally figured it out you could have seen the light bulb appear over my head from half a mile away! Lol. Thanks for stopping by buddy.
+Bologna Sud Oh gotcha, I forgot about that piece. Thanks, you might be right about that. The more I looked at it the less I thought it was a gun part. Appreciate you helping with the ID
I dunno, Jason, but that key with the hole looks like the kind on guitars, to tighten the strings. (I know they have a name, I just don't know crap about guitars.) Congrats on the IHs. Sure looks like a promising site.
+StivNagen That might be the best ID on that piece I've gotten so far. I was wondering what that hole going through it could have been for and an instrument tuning string sounds right on the money. I don't know their official name either but that's a great eagle eye. Thanks for the ID! Take care my friend
Quarter Hoarder Another comment suggests its from an old barrel tap, I agree. It looks like the part of a spigot you would turn to allow liquid to pass
Salut l'ami , bravo pour ta sortie réussi cool tes monnaies à tête d’indien ! l’objet à 17.23 c'est la pièce pour ouvrir et refermée le robinet . Merci du partage et tout beau dimanche @+++
Was that Trump or Hillary you sliced in half at the beginning of the video? Can't tell 'em apart anymore;) Good job on the finds brother, those coins came out looking nice!
+Stxdigger Thanks man. I am pretty fortunate to have some good history in my area. Now finding it and digging it up, well sometimes I'm not so fortunate! Lol. I did catch a sweet indian hole this time but next trip might just be a shotgun shell kinda day. You just never know and that's the fun of this hobby. Best of luck to both of us this season!
Sorry about the snake, that's my worst fear is hurting something in the ground... I"m just going to be more careful now... Good finds, I've found lots of Canadian coin. Silver and old coppers its around. Keep @ it and HH !!
+MUDSWAT Thanks buddy. Yeah the snake was a real bummer. I'm not a huge snake fan but I still wouldn't hurt one intentionally. Next time I will kick all the leaves out of the way before I start digging though. Lesson learned. Take care my friend.
+yeahdudewhat2 Thanks buddy. I dig some here and there but this was an exceptional indian kind of day. Definitely not the norm. I'm sure yours will come. Happy hunting brother
Thanks man. The snake was a bummer. Actually dug another one (a little bigger) this past weekend and managed to not kill him. Crazy that this one was underground in the hole when I dug it. Hopefully I don't dig a hole and bump into their mama! Lol.
New sub, please sub back when you can. Great video & great finds, I did the same thing to a little brown snake a few months back. I guess he was hibernating, I felt horrible.
I hear you. I usually avoid snakes or maybe just nudge them out of the way if they're in my swinging path. Didn't mean to kill the little guy. Next time I'll clear the leaves before I dig. Anyway, subbed you too buddy and will be sure to check out some of your digs. Best of luck out there.
Bummer about the snake Jason, an honest accident! Great hunt, love the Indians and relics!! That weird key thing with the hole through it, if you play the guitar you already know! Its a tuner knob, the string would go through the hole!! HH my friend!! Andrew..
+CoinandRelicOntario Thanks for stopping by Andrew. The snake was a real bummer. Certainly didn't mean to hurt the little thing. Someone else also said the key piece was a guitar tuner and I think you guys are correct. That makes much more sense once I thought about it considering the hole through the end. I appreciate the ID help my friend and happy hunting to you too.
+Dirtflicker Thanks man. I love the relics (iron or not) especially if they have some interested shape or can be identified. Don't get me wrong, the old coins are awesome to find but I do have a soft spot for some of the old iron. Appreciate you stopping by and happy hunting brother.
I'm just glad to see you paying attention to what you're throwing in your bag brother. lol Nice tribe you dug there. Blessings
+NORTHCOAST DIGGERS Thanks man. The tribe is alive and well and can use my display case as their new reservation! Lol. Thanks for stopping by.
till the uprising.lol
Man, you dug the whole tribe!! lol. Awesome job on the finds. Cool Button and the glass lid is really cool. The triangle Jean piece is neat also. Congrats on the finds! GL & HH, Jerimy
+JL DIGGER Thanks Jerimy. If I stuck around a little longer I might have dug a ninth indian. I could have had the Cleveland Indians whole starting lineup in my pouch! Lol.

Jason, what a good video! Nice job on all the IHP's. A Barbie cell phone cracked me up!
+West Texas Tumbleweed When I first dug it up it looked like a small action figure accessory at first glance. I knew it wasn't but my mouth sometimes moves too quick before my brain catches up!
Fantastic IHP Haul Jason!!! Beautiful 1891's,1908
1901, 1895, 1906 and 1903...Awesomeness. Nice lantern part and military eagle button...Hahaha Barbie's cell phone..lol
+Guess It Was Fate Thanks buddy. The Indians were awesome. I'm hoping there's some old silver in the area too but I just didn't find it yet. I tried calling Barbie on that phone but she must have cancelled that line when she lost the phone. Lol. Thanks for stopping by.
Awesome video brother. Congrats on the Indians. That eagle button was in great condition. Be safe out there and good luck.
+Hey Mom Look What I Found!!!! Thank you. That was a banner Indian day for me. Next time out maybe a silver will pop its head out for me! Take care and be safe as well my friend.
Great hunt! That soil looks sandy. Nice Indians. Lookin foward to more great hunts.

+TinaGsx1400 Hmm, a barrel tap key... I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the ID help on it and I appreciate you stopping by. Happy hunting to you as well.
Great hunt and beautiful injuns! You got a couple of tribes there!
+Metal Detecting NWGA Thanks. I've dug several in the past but never so many in one outing before. Hopefully I can get back there again and get some large cents too, fingers crossed. Take care and happy hunting.
awesome job really good video loved it all the best my friend keep the coil to the soil
+Yomo Henry Thanks for stopping by and happy hunting buddy.
You dug a tribe! I've never dug more than one IHP in a day! LFOD!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wow nice hunt and that flap looks like damper for wood stove. Thanks for sharing.
+ronnie b prospecting You are probably right about the stove damper. I thought it was a cool piece and I might run some DC through it and clean it up over the winter. Appreciate you stopping by buddy.
Awesome hunt, beautiful Indians..There's gotta be some Barbers out there to..
+matthew davis Thanks Matt. I sure am hoping there's some Barbers in that spot. For now they are still being elusive. Always a next time though. Happy hunting brother.
You scored nicely on the hunt 👍👍
+Linda Grittman Thanks Linda. It was quite an indian haul for me! Appreciate you stopping by.
Quarter Hoarder
Its always a pleasure to view your videos 👍
The soil is mixed with wood ash, which is why it is so soft.
that metal thing you cant id is a wood burning stove top, you pull it off using those holes, stoke the wood
and your mason jar lid use to have blue stuff that absorbed humidity
I found a tiny water turtle about 4 inches down metal detecting near a park it was crazy its on one of my earliest videos
Round rusty thing with a shaft through the center is a wood stove damper.
that was a great hunt Jason, all them Indian head coins, I bet you where buzzin, the key to me looks like a wardrobe key, I remember them as a kid here in the UK, might be different over in the US, just my guess, I have just got out of hospital on the 12th May after knee replacement so will be out of action for a while.
take care mate

Sweet score of IHP's!!!!

+julio viltor Thank you very much. Appreciate you stopping by.

Hey thank you for stopping by. Yeah the snake was an accident and I felt crappy about it. Next time I'll move the leaves before I dig.
Grande Caccia :-) Ottimo su Reperti Saluti Ciao Endriu
+Endriu Detector Thank you for stopping by.
The lid with the glass in it looks like lantern glass. I have a railroad lantern with red glass lenses that are the same exact shape as that one. Its always a possibility.
Clock winder key, Barbie's cell phone, lol!, omg one lil two little three lil Indians! Wow! Enjoyed the dig!
Thanks Jan!
Congrats on the 8 IHP's nice little hot spot you got there.
Thanks. I've dug my share of Indians in the past but never 8 in one hunt! That was a record for me that I may never break. Appreciate you stopping by.
Abby Smyser enjoyed your video
+patti hartley Abby Smyser should come digging with us one day. She might like it.
Good hunt! I love them Indians!
I do believe your key is for an old wardrobe cupboard.
good hunt i think that lid is to a coffe pot perk type keep swingin bro
Thanks man. Crazy what's in the ground at this place. I wouldn't doubt it.
What you think is a clock key is a guitar key where the string goes thru.
my favorite places to metal detect myself is when I can find a city tearing out a sidewalk
I like those a lot for old coins. These old home sites in the woods produce the coolest oddball relics for me so those spots are my personal favorite.
Quarter Hoarder people here in Michigan are really suspicious of you metal detecting around their places there's a lot of old abandoned houses but people won't let you on them.
It's like that here too in many areas and it's not always easy to find out who owns the land. One of the challenges of the hobby
Great video buddy and very nice finds, thanks for sharing! GL&HH:)
+SilverPicker Thanks man. I appreciate you stopping by.
I hope one day I can afford a metal detector it's a passion of mine to that I've only have gotten to do a few times as nd loved it so much
If you like history and finding old coins/jewelry it can't be beat as a hobby. The machines are a little pricey but once you make the initial investment you're good to good with just a battery change here and there. Hope you get out and best of luck to you!
The little key thing looks like it might be off of an instrument. The winder for the strings to tune.
Awesome vid love the Indians they came out of that soil looking amazing!!
+Sick metal detecting Thanks man. The sandy soil makes a huge difference. I've dug some crusty Indians before so I do appreciate when I get a nice soil patch. Happy hunting my friend.

It matters that you care
the ribbed piece is a stove exaust piece forget whats its called but it stops or regulates the smoke/vent
+William Ohaire Thanks. Some pieces are just tricky to ID. Really appreciate the help.
The knob on the old lantern parts may have a date and brand name on it.
Great location there! I look for bulb flowers too when looking for old home sites.
+I DIG HISTORY Thanks for stopping by. Anything out of the ordinary like that is always a hopeful clue. Happy hunting brother
Awesome clip man, Really enjoyed that one. Nice spot too, keep 'em coming!
+Mongrel Jack Thanks Jack. It was a great spot for me and I can't wait to get back there. Appreciate you stopping by.
Great saves!
Awesome hunt Jason! I see you dug out a tribe, lucky you! The snake, oh well, that's how it goes! Happy Hunting
+Basia Today Thanks Basia. No indians are safe when I'm in town! Lol
Hey man! Great finds and great vid! Looks like you had a blast! And thanks for the shout out man! The kids and I loved it! Until next time, happy hunting!
+Jthreeb Glad you liked it. You guys have a good channel up north of the border. Can't wait to see what you find next time! Happy hunting buddy.
I like the photograph on the cover of this video . Edward S. Curtis?
Yes it is. I have a nice print of it in my house, minus the metal detector guy of course. lol You're the first person to recognize it!
Your welcome
awesome video I'm a new subscriber
Some people might have set up camp back then and stayed for awile
Man that's cool finding the Indian Head pennies. Keep up the good work and Happy Hunting!
What you do with them
Great hunt buddy.
Appreciate you watching my friend and take care.
WOW, that's a lot of IHP"s, congrats...
+diggin kc Thanks buddy. That was quite an indian nesting ground for me. Hopefully I can catch a few silvers next time at that spot.
Hey QuarterHoarder what's your favorite coin find and what's your oldest
+WheatPennyPickers My oldest coin is a KG II half penny. I can't get a date off mine but they were made from the late 1720's to 1760, so it's somewhere in that range. Favorite is a tough one, do you mean one that I dug or just in general? Thanks for stopping by.
I like the fact you appreciate the iron relics. Keep on going brother.
THE big iron a stove damper, the key a piece to a gas light. Congrats on all the IHP NICE. Take care GL=HH \_
+REDBEAM58 I thought the big iron was a stove damper but that key was a mystery to me. I figured it wasn't an actual key to anything but a gas light may just be it! Thanks brother
OH What you dug in IHP in one day, it took me all year last year to find 7 so CONGRATS AGAIN.
The small metal cup was part of a tea set...a (creamer) container.
It's official Jason, you now have a tribe of your own. The thing you called a flap looks like the damper in a stove pipe.
+Jerry Dineen Thanks Jerry. I was one indian away from digging the Cleveland starting lineup! Lol. You are correct about the store damper as well. I'll put it in my electrolysis pile for the winter. Oh how my wife loves my piles!
The little key with the large hole I think is off the end of a guitar, where you tighten the strings to tune it.
I seriously just laughed out loud when you said you pronounced his channel that way. Too damn funny! Nice job on the indians and relics.
+Hooked on History I wish I could say I was kidding but I really did think that's how his name was pronounced. When I finally figured it out you could have seen the light bulb appear over my head from half a mile away! Lol. Thanks for stopping by buddy.
Dude , if it was an accident it wasn't murder....
Great video
Nice coins
Its a lock
+Bologna Sud What's a lock? I'm confused.....
What you thought was a gun
+Bologna Sud Oh gotcha, I forgot about that piece. Thanks, you might be right about that. The more I looked at it the less I thought it was a gun part. Appreciate you helping with the ID
I dunno, Jason, but that key with the hole looks like the kind on guitars, to tighten the strings. (I know they have a name, I just don't know crap about guitars.) Congrats on the IHs. Sure looks like a promising site.

Was that Trump or Hillary you sliced in half at the beginning of the video? Can't tell 'em apart anymore;)
Good job on the finds brother, those coins came out looking nice!
+AgileMJOLNIR Haha. At least the snake was harmless. Can't say the same about the other two! Thanks for stopping by
"key" might be a guitar tuner string tightener
+twana chick Someone else told me that also. Great ID there, thanks!
That was an awesome hunt! I've only found two Indians in three years. Lol
+Quarter Hoarder very true and thanks! I hope you pull some barbers out of that place.
The item at 17:18 is part to a vintage barrel tap, (valve part), cool find!! GL HH
EARTH ANGEL😇. COMPASSIONATE!👍
"It's only 6 inches". I know some that would love to have that lol. Sorry I had to! 😂
Barbie's cell phone lolollolol ...great stuff
+Inthegreenetv Thank for stopping by. Weird what the brain thinks at first glance sometimes. Barbie probably still uses a flip-phone anyway. Lol
nice finds man great video im working on tring to find me some indians
+yeahdudewhat2 Thanks buddy. I dig some here and there but this was an exceptional indian kind of day. Definitely not the norm. I'm sure yours will come. Happy hunting brother
Nice Indians!
Man I hate that, few month back I chopped a snake in half too.
At least the worms we chop, grown into two!
Thanks man. The snake was a bummer. Actually dug another one (a little bigger) this past weekend and managed to not kill him. Crazy that this one was underground in the hole when I dug it. Hopefully I don't dig a hole and bump into their mama! Lol.

All relics are important.
+Dirtflicker Thanks man. I love the relics (iron or not) especially if they have some interested shape or can be identified. Don't get me wrong, the old coins are awesome to find but I do have a soft spot for some of the old iron. Appreciate you stopping by and happy hunting brother.
