    Turning the reverb off via the foot switch turns the reverb knob into an extra stage of tube saturation, which makes your sound extra thicc.

    Very cool. It sounds a bit more like the MK2 with that setting.

    This seems to work if youre using a footswitch as well and just keep the reverb off.

    • @peterwickens2978
      @peterwickens2978  3 роки тому

      Yeah it does, but you don't want all that extra mess and effort when setting up if you use the trick all the time

      @@peterwickens2978 Not really that big of a mess :) I bought a 2-channel orange switch instead of a 1-channel, since I want something to switch between channels.

      @@peterwickens2978 Or if you dont need the switch, probably just a TRS dummy plug stuck to the footswitch jack would do

    Oh Hell Yes-I love it/The Amp is fuckin great in so many ways-But sounds "flubby" when going for more extreme Distortion-But once you dialed out the Reverb/Sounds Tight N Nasty.Brilliant Saturation /Awesome LP BTW looks like your ready for everything...

    Awesome setup and sound you got here 👍 I own a Rockerverb MKiii 100 and I have a 2021 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop as well, I yanked the mini humbuckers and converted it over to P90’s. Question for ya about your LP Deluxe. Did it come with the Nashville bridge and if so is that what you are still using. Mine has the Nashville bridge which of course is a wider bridge then the ABR so I have to keep my tail piece off the body and slightly high to clear the Nashville bridge. Just wanted to see what bridge your running. Thanks and again awesome video 👍

    so are you saying to run a TRS cable from footswitch jack to the reverb jack?

    I would have no use for that guitar (because of the shitty music I make) but that’s the coolest Les Paul I’ve ever seen. I love gold tops and p-90s- and p-90s with orange amps are better

    Could you explain how you did the "footswitch" in the back again? You said you soldered something? Could I use any foot switch that's disengaged?

    • @dueskeylat6063
      @dueskeylat6063 3 роки тому +1

      The tip is soldered to the sleeve on the jack of the footswitch.

    Are you running a noise gate ? My rockerverb is really noisy

    • @peterwickens2978
      @peterwickens2978  2 роки тому +2

      No nothing, you can hear some noise from the P90 in between some clips, but it’s just a cable from guitar to amp. Could be bad cables, dirty power in your room, or tubes getting old. Try and track down the issue instead of covering it with a gate, you’ll sound way better that way!
      I went crazy chasing the noise floor on my pedalboard, was testing all my soldering with a multimeter to get the cleanest connections

    Do you have to take out the reverb tank for this? Or leave the reverb hooked up?

    • @peterwickens2978
      @peterwickens2978  10 місяців тому

      No just leave it as is! All you need to do is switch it off via the foot switch or have a shorted jack in the switch hole

    Hello. Dont you remember eq settings on rockerverb mkiii ?
    I got it last week have hard times dialing this amp at home -
    twist of any knob and it sounds louder or quieter - have to set attenuator to another value )
    I like my TH100 better and easier for home use.

    • @beefnacos6258
      @beefnacos6258 4 місяці тому

      When are people going to learn 100 Watts with no attenuation will blow you away?

      @@beefnacos6258 Sold this mk-iii long ago. Bought Esp e2 eclipse BB Satin instead. I use my orange th-100 in 30-watt mode , with orange 4x12 cab in bedroom. more than 30wt feels strange/uncomfortably "big" at home (even if set volume harmless for neighbors).
