This is a good project to watch in multiple videos. P-38 is a wonderful fighter. Perhaps one day you can do a tutorial video on using the hairspray chipping technique.
Hey Floki! Nice choice for your next project! I really like the fact that you decided to go full ballistic with after market parts, it makes the build more challenging and gives it so much additional detail ( i wish i could do the same for half of my builds). Why not sponge chipping, not that the one you did was bad, it's the exact opposite (i am just saying, why go the extra effort with the hairspray in a place like the cockpit). An overall killer start on this build, looking forward to see more. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
Thank you so much! Well the short answer is that I didn't even think about sponge chipping, even though I do it on all my armor builds. In the end you really can't see anything in the cockpit except for the seat, IP and the yoke so any chipping except for the seat is hard to see anyway. I also decided that I'm not going to buy anymore new kits until I make a dent in my stash and instead will focus on getting after market parts and modeling supplies. Take care my friend.
I'm not a military modeler, I'm here for the painting, but those dash decals look fantastic! I need some for the Star Wars Bandai kits.
That would be awesome if they made these for Star Wars kits!
Great video! Loved it, will watch the rest of the series! Nice detail, 3D decals look great! Thanks for sharing. Happy days and model on! 😎🇨🇦
Thank you so much! Stay safe my friend.

Thank you! I promise I will make that video during this build. I will chip the wing roots using hairspray.
