Impressive! You achieved with this good paintwork, blended colors and weathering a awesome result. The P-38 Lightning looks great on this nice base. Cool work, Floki. Best wishes and a nice weekend. Joachim
Nice paint and weathering job on the P-38 buddy. Interesting video to see your methodes and technics how you do your stuff. Keep on the good work and model on . Have a nice day . Stay safe and well my friend :)
Thank you so much for the kind words! I try my best to post good builds for all of you. Sometimes a build doesn't always go as planned but I try to learn from all of them. Stay safe my friend and model on
Brilliant build Floki! P-38 came out beautiful, bummer about the chipping effects near the cockpit. Excellent job done on the base as well, the STL file you used reminds me the tools that figures had for the lrdg vehicle, so they could unstuck it from the sand. I am really curious to see your next project. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
Thank you so much! The chipping is not too my liking but I learned for the next build. My next project will be a small vignette of two figures for a Battle of the Bulge group build on the MMP Discord. Their is a link in the description of this video on how to join the Group Build if you want to join too. Stay well my friend and congratulations again on becoming a father.
Nice Build and video! I found your channel looking for Marston Mat in diorama. Got a question, I noticed your Marston Mat was staggered, was it always staggered when laid down for Airfields? Thanks
Thank you! The majority of the photos I found on Google showed them to be staggered, some you couldn't tell. They may have laid some just buted up, but staggering your seams would keep everything locked together a lot better
Thank You for your reply. I'm doing a diorama of Chuck Yeager P-51 Mustang and noticed in photos his Glamorous Glennis was on Marston Mat Airfield, But the Mat looked End to End. Your Right though, it's hard to tell. My 1/48 Marston Mat is in Photo Etch. That'll be a bitch to cut. Anyway, look forward to more of your builds and Thanks Again for Your video and response.
