Respect to this man and his devotion to carp angling at a very special time. Not many people can remove themselves from carp angling like he has. Big respect Rob thanks Nash for this golden interview
great podcast!! really enjoyed it - especially the time on the Mere. Not everyone on there was nice but Rob was, great company and a great angler and lucky enough to be there when he had 'Twisty' well done mate!!
Gave up the Carp myself around 1999 and ended up in Wales too ... Fished those Cheshire waters, Cheshire is a special county. Brought back some happy memories, thanks rob for sharing
I love listening about the capesthorne estate. I fish the main pool regularly and yesterday I caught a fish called no name at 38lb 10oz. A fish that is around 50 years old and one that rob may have caught in the past
Had the pleasure to fishing Redesmere at the same time as rob great lad great angler with a very dry séance of humour so many happy hours spent on there
I've got the photos of the 29 off front of stream close in🤣I was in the left and I was befuddled at how close it was. Cracking lad and Nibby doing cartwheels is totally believable. Lads who fished the mere for years😉comfort zone for them. Your first car turning up at W'mere was a shocker. Same car and colour as my first car🤣The cheese dreams experience on the stream🤣🙃snub at 39 I think was yours 🤣good to see your well mate😉🙂
More of this please - top interview & totally immersive discussions. Thanks 🙏

Gotta say hard listen. Bloke sounded fed right up and uninterested.
Forced to watch it was you ? 🤷♂️🤣
What were you expecting him to be like? Jumping around shouting and punching the air? 😂
