- Got i few requests for a tour of the sim, so here it is! Let me know if you have any questions and I will try to answer them. If you would like any more in depth videos of systems, setup etc. please let me know.

This is the guy I want to be on the same flights as me. Imagine the captain onboard passes out? This dude will pull up into the cockpit and land the plane in its destination cuz it’s just a regular day in the office for this dude.
@@joerihuffmeijer3247 actually I am a pilot, but I would never, ever, trade my current job to be a career pilot :) So I fly for real on my spare time, and worship my hobby when i feel like it. That is win win.

I am more into sim-racing, so I would rather have a complete racing simulator with the most high end gear, but boy, it is amazing! If flying is your passion, you must feel the happiest man on this planet, having a simulator like this. I can only imagine.

Just amazing. I don’t know if he’s a commercial pilot but if he is then he really loves his work. You fly people all across the globe and after 8-10 hours of flying you go home and kick back in your simulator for a little relaxation and evening entertainment. I suppose you could practice enough to get a commercial license and do it for a living after you get good.

Could you give me the floor dimensions the three monitors take up, please? And do you have a floor plan showing the location of the monitors, angle from the centre one, and where your cockpit fits in it, please? I have a small room - 3.82m x 2.61m and I have been toying with the idea of having three large monitors in a similar arrangement, but it all comes down to space, doesn't it? Any details you have would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Can you state the cost of a setup like yours cost.
Your cockpit is exactly the same as mine. I have FDS 738Max MIP, FDS Shell, Cockpitforyou TQ, Sismo Overheads and Radio Pedestal. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me on my build.

Hello, my sim finally arrived and my MCP N EFIS are also CPFlight. The bracket seems to only hold the two efis and then the MCP attaches by the 4 end screws but how does it lock into place?

Hello my friend. Your sim is wonderful! Just a question. Did you please help me to measure the distance between center TV display and the MCP surface. I am actually building a 744 sim. I have almost the same limited room as you. Which brings me an idea to use 3 TV displays instead of protectors. But I’m still confusing how to place the TV

Did you have any issues installing the Sismo OH panels into the FDS Shell, if so, what did you have to do?

2: How far away is your main screen from the front window and in which angle are the other 2 screen connected ?

The Ipad holders are just generic ipad holders from Ebay i think. Slightly modified so i could fasten them on the side panel. I dont have the exact measurement for the screens, but i would guess about 1 meter from the windshield and about 60 degrees angles one the side screens :)

@@espsta one more question. Your centre screen is really in the center of your cockpit. Do you have No problem with the immersion ? ( like you feel that you are not looking correctly outside, taxiline are crab) or How did you calibrate and lined everything up ?
@@kaincallewaert6200 The middle screen is in the center, that is correct. I use Chaseplane to correct for the crab effect. I have two preset chaseplane positions, one for the left seat and one for the right.

Hi! Well, i dont use the ATC that is ingame, so whenever i fly with ATC its online via Vatsim/Vpilot. The Vpilot app i use remotely on the tablet. Cheers

Who knows! I dont keep track, i just buy the stuff when i need it. It is a never ending hobby, always something to add and improve :)
I will tell you the trick is to not spend all the time in there, or you will get tired of it. It can be weeks between my flights, and that keeps it interesting ( and the wife happy) ;)
Very nice. How long did you take to finalize ?
The building prosess is actually not very long, what takes time is waiting for all the parts. But in terms of finalizing, the sim will never be complete - always something to add! :)

Hello beautiful sim my friend and congratulations. I just made my purchase for my sim from FDS yesterday. Are your seats and rails from FDS? Kinda looks like it by the J-Rail plate. I just started a build thread on FDS as well.

Can you do a review on the seats. I was thinking about getting them also. Peter gave me a lead time of 10-12 weeks when I ordered mines . I also found out my overhead won’t fit because it’s not FDS size and spec so next week I will place the order on his overhead. But if you don’t mind can you please do a review on the seats.

Hello, I am building a home cockpit and I would like to know if the simulator run easy in terms of fps with all tv 65”. What kind of video card do you use? My main computer is i9 32gb video card rxt2080 8gb. Is it enough to run with all tvs with quality?

There is no food service unfortunately, so eventually you would need to come out for food :)

Was it difficult to install the AFT and FWD to the shell? I ask because there might be some hardware issues when it comes to different manufacturers. Was there any adjustment or modification at all? I am actually planning on buying the exact same parts for the overhead.
Alan, the Sismo modules fits perfect in the FDS shell.

Alex, I have adressed that in the follow up video. Not so easy to guess. I have stand alone yokes and pedals so not possible to link together. If I were to buy linked yokes, i would also have to raise the whole sim base :)

The ProSim flight model does not have a modelled virtual cockpit, så I am using the virtual cockpit view. Hope that answers your question!
