- A labour of love as this is one of my favorite films & filmscore & some of Sasha's best work.
Deinterlaced (by doubling the frame rate & converting the fields into frames, as the interlaced fields cause artifactiting when played on a computer)
Upscaled from my original DVD to 1080P (a pity this was never released as a Blu-Ray)
Painstakingly Denoised, resharpened & cleaned up.
Now it should play well on a HD TV as the original had large black bars at top & bottom.
Hope you like the result.
New Emissions of Light and Sound is a ground breaking surf film released by award winning surf film producers, Globe. For the score, Globe partnered with DJ Sasha to create an audio-visual experience like nothing the surf world has ever seen. The score is made up of new and previously unreleased Sasha tracks. In January 2008, the film won BEST ORIGINAL SCORE at the X-Dance Film Festival.

I bought this in the miami airport flying home from my first ever international surf trip to nicaragua in 2009. I watched it that night when I got home with the memories of that trip still swirling in my head. good times! thanks for uploading a high quality version
