Yeah... the silliest thing about it is he often tries to put it on the game, too. I don't think it's an accident that Alex, in like 4 lives, was doing way better despite lower health and a harder level than AJ. He's that generally lovable friend who frustratingly always wants to be in charge (of the game, I know it's his show) of playing even though he's the worst AT the game.
The game looks fun AJ and Crew will watch the rest of the video when I have more time today. 💪🏽 35:52-36:03 *EXACTLY AJ AND CREW THESE HANDS RATED E FOR EVERYONE!*
Agh, that was mad frustrating when you reset the game from the start instead of going back to the squats and using the key in the locked door to cut through most of the level.
I'm relieved that I'm not the only one having difficulty with the camera and crowd control in general. It's fun but infuriating because sometimes you're not at fault for being stun locked or backed into a corner where the hitboxes prevent you from moving. The dojo should let you practice with groups and people with weapons or at least let you replay the red background intro part
I agree with the dojo part but, yes. You are technically at fault for being stun locked. That's what the bar is at the bottom of the screen. It's your "Structure". Basically, how long you can hold the block button and tank hits. When it gets full and shatters, you're stunned. Never let enemies get you up against a wall, pillar, etc. When surrounded, seek advantageous positioning. Always seek to dodge enemies with enemies. There's 2 kinds of dodging in the game. The first is by pressing "RT/R2" (Controller) and moving the left stick towards somewhere. The second, and the one that is necessary to master, is holding the block button while also moving the left stick towards a direction before an enemy attacks. If you match the dodge away from the direction of an enemy punch or whatever, you'll dodge it without taking any damage or have your structure increase. It's going to take multiple runs of levels to get better at them, and the game will force you to get better. I've been playing for about..10 hours so far and I've managed to run the entire first level without dying, but that second level is still kicking my ass, so getting better is my only option. To be honest I prefer this to Dark Souls because with Sifu you can actually feel yourself get better rather than relying on miracle moments. But yeah. Don't be afraid to run to different areas and reposition to places like stairs, or tighter areas where you can fight groups one on one.
@@elra1894 what I mean by stun locked is that one opponent hits me and the game doesn't let me block at all, I can't move and everybody just gangs up on me, although I still have structure
@Bep Kororoti Ahhh, okay I got you. It's definitely a bitch when that happens, so sorry about that. All I can say to help is, with normal enemies, it can happen sporadically if you get hit with hard enough attacks or if 2 or more enemies hit you together. Then you'll get stunned by the pile on. Especially if you get knocked against a wall
I did not have any problems with the camera as i was playing on keyboard and mouse but got trouble with sean i stopped paying the game because of him, dont have the time or patience to play the same lvl 10 times
@@manuelmunguia616 the best strat to basically trivialize Sean is keep holding the block button and avoiding with back on the thumbstick. Then, after his string is finished do three heavy attacks and just keep repeating this pattern for both phases. One thing to note though is you will still get hit with his sweep in the second phase but that damage is negligible if you avoid his other attacks. It might take a life or two to get the timing down but you’ll definitely succeed with this method. If you ever go back to the game, I hope this helps!
Thanks for this awesome video, Joe. I was just exiting my Kung Fu/MMA class. I'm testing for a green belt in MMA next month. I'm currently a blue belt in MMA, Joe.
The momemt when this became joes favorite game it became mine too i could not stop thinking of kung fu hustle when joe started doing kung fu noises lol
Im not gonna lie when they play its like they havnt played many games lol joes looks at the right way to go then turns around and goes backwards lol still like watching them play tho
I suck at this game. I reached age 74 on the first stage. Then I read discussions that it's better to dodge attacks than parrying. So I'm going to try it out.
@@conyo985 way better, love to hear that. On my initial run I finished Stage 1 at age 33. Just yesterday I've beaten the leader for the first time. And bosses/stages which I had cursed to hell before I can now replay quite comfortably. Oftentimes it's just one little thing that needs to click. You can do it, as well, I'm sure.
Joe... Xbox... use A to scale tables and surroundings. Don't parry attacks that glow. Avoid them. The bar at the bottom of the screen, "structure bar" is your block meter.
Good commentary but it was hard to watch especially when they restarted the whole game including the beginning tutorial so they could go back to the first level instead of just going back to the first level
Damn I'm sad I missed this live. I'll try and catch the next one. Really loving the game as well, just managed to defeat the first two bosses without dying and working on the third.
Joe " I did not know there was magic in this world." Forgets your guy is brought back to life from magic talismans 🤣
lol I somehow managed to skip to that exact spot
Bestowed on him by mistik beans at the forbidden shore.

Tony Jaa from Ong Bak needs to be a DLC character
This game is AMAZING, difficult, but AMAZING!!!
Once you learn the moves it's FUN and AMAZING!!!
I just want to see OJ break the game with a single punch.
This is a game where you master the mechanics. Unless you like repeating the same shit over and over like sekiro, you will not finish this game.
The best way to play this game is with the dual sense controller you got to the glow sho nuff
Please do a full review!
Rights?
upcoming rapid review lol
OJ:"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE??"
AJ:" I TOOK CARE OF THESE CHUMPS"
OJ:"EVERYBODY'S DEAD!!!!...."

Omg!
Joe and friends are playing Sifu?!
That is awesome!

The momemt when this became joes favorite game it became mine too i could not stop thinking of kung fu hustle when joe started doing kung fu noises lol
Be honest Joe. How long were you waiting to break out that Bruce Lee suit?
This reminds me of when I used to watch my older cousins play atari
You can go to 80 or higher but after 70 years old you can't revive anymore
Im not gonna lie when they play its like they havnt played many games lol joes looks at the right way to go then turns around and goes backwards lol still like watching them play tho
I think it's less a "them" and more a Joe thing 😅 Alex seems to consistently be the better gamer, no matter the genre.
JOEJITSU!!!!
The older you get, the more damage you dish out, but at the cost of less health
Joe, your sound effects are top notch.
the only review which you have to done is Warhammer 3, redeem yourself in the face of emperor Joe
Joe Lee, Joe Lee, Joe Lee, Joe Leeeee. I'm begging of you please don't take my man.
No Pause! I luv that song with the Sax 🎷🔥

This shit's bad as fuck, bro. I think I'm going to get ahead and pick, it up. Thanks for the playthrough. Nice game.
Why not buy a rechargeable battery pack ??
They probably never heard of it
nice haircut joe!

You can just plug the controller in you dont need batteries
Joe lee lol
It's a short game. A full review would be nice.
It has few stages, yes. But it took me about 28 hours to beat the last boss. There's still the true ending to get to.

why don't you just get some rechargeable batteries?
Pass the controller Joe!
damnnnnn you guys are still using double AA´s :D
OJ! OJ!OJ! OJ OJ he's our man if he can't beat it no one can!

The upgrade system is terrible. Its just empty padding to extend the game.
What were you doing the first 20 seconds? Manscaping? 🤭😅
Those guys will never finish the game! Maybe only other Joe.
Xbox players smh. “Give me a sec gotta get new batteries “
yes DO REVIEW this game
Well done OJ

This game looks pretty cool, but it only makes me want a Ghost of Tsushima PC port...
The "Aye yo wtf!" is getting old real quick.
