- This week we picked up a YI 4K Action Camera and wanted to take it for a POV Night Drive to see how much better it performs over our GoPro Hero4 Black. We're pretty impressed with the Yi's low light capabilities!

I'm picking up a blue 94 Miata with all the same options and I'm so excited. I've owned a bunch of VWs including a tuned mk7 GTI and older third gen F bodies, but never a true sports car. I'm beyond excited.

@@Bananywkoszyku I didn’t get one! There was a blue 1996 Miata with the soft top and hard top in great shape for $5000k but I was stupid and didn’t buy it. Now they’re too expensive.

What audio setup are you using? I just recently got a Yi 4k myself and really dig the audio quality of this video. You mention binaural mics but dont give any specifics.

Heard that there is a light that you can attach to the Gopro for people who do want to film at night like this, but here dont know if the light would have caused some sort of a glare on the car's front windshield OR make it to hard to drive with it turned on

My american 97 NA revs at 4100 hitting 70 (110 KM) Ive read about others and watched yours do 80 at 4000, the difference bugs me...and I have the same stock wheels and no doubt the same 4.10 rear end. Sometimes I think the buyer requested a 4.30 the way the thing revs so high. Maybe down the road when money improves Ill go for the 3.63 as to drop the revs down on the highway a bit. Living in Alberta my car is in storage so it was nice to imagine through your vid driving mine again.

It's a modified GoPro headstrap with two small extensions and the camera facing down, just above our eye level.

Do it. You won't regret it! Try to look for a rust-free 94-97. I do have a wheelwell, haven't done much with it though...
