I don't think it was a matter of low balling him like people say. It was the principle of the matter. Francis didn't want to be owned by anyone. He said he would rather go broke again. He wanted to be able to be the UFC champ, AND do boxing etc. I say the man is a hero, he actually stook to his principles. Absolute win for Francis. I believe Dana has been on record saying "this isn't a career, it's an opportunity" and Francis heard that loud and clear. He leaves with his hype and his first fight outside of the UFC will probably be worth his entire contract. Eventually, these fighters will smarten up and want to test FA. Can't start losing all your draws, eventually the UFC will have to pony up. O'Malley has already said that he's not going to extend and hit FA when the time comes. Glad these fighters are finally going into business for themselves.

Tyson Fury is gonna be busy with Usyk for a long time. What if it Usyk loses? Trilogy. Fury loses? Rematch for the WBC belt and possibly a trilogy.
