my ex got into what I believed was a rebound relationship, he was still upset about our breakup and said he was lonely but also mad at me for things in the past. He blocked me after an argument while they were dating and naturally i went no contact. He has now been with her for 6 months and they are always posting together, he said he doesn't want to talk to me and seems to have completely forgotten me and replaced me with her, now I have no choice but to give up.

I really appreciate the advice they’re giving and the fact that they’ve admitted that they’ve adjusted their mindset into what to do when your ex is seeing someone new but there is no way in hell that I’m going to ever contact my ex. He dumped me. And as much as I want to talk to him and I miss him, he wanted the break up. So he can initiate the contact. And if that’s not going to happen, it’ll hurt but that’s life. I’ll learn to move on. Life is about learning new things about yourself, and this will be another learning point for me. I refuse to contact someone who broke up with me and then moved on so quickly with someone else.

Same here. Gf threw away a 13 year relationship all because my work cut alot of ppl to part time. I put my all heart wise into this girl. I cleaned house, I did all the laundry, I work nights & come home and pick up after our daughter which I don't mind. I pay bills and pay my half of rent. 1) we knew each other for 20 years, almost 18 years of marriage, and two kids together.
2) we broke up at the end of August 2022, and she started dating two weeks later, middle of September 2022
3) she was dating a guy in October and November 2022, but then came back to me at the end of November, and she was hot and cold, but we were still seeing each other in December, January, and February 2023… there were numerous times when she told me that she does not have any feelings or emotions or connection to me, but other times we were fine and sleeping together… she would also say that she was confused.
4) end of February 2023 she cut me off again, and at the end of March 2023 (recently) she went back to the same guy that she was seeing in October and November 2022… now she’s telling me that she is in a relationship with him, she has feelings for him, she loves him, and they have already been sleeping together.
5) she has been continuously telling me to start dating and for me to move on… what should I do?

Honestly best thing you can do is try to be happy for them and go focus on yourself. You can check back in at Christmas or something with a small nice message and see if they’re available then, although you have to be prepared for them to be happy/engaged/moved in or whatever if you do that. Most times it’s best just to go your separate ways when she starts dating again and maybe she’ll be in touch later. But being second choice isn’t a good feeling. Never try to interfere with their relationship, that pretty much kills the chances of you two ever being together in a healthy way again.

You have to move on emotionally. Kids are actually a good way to show her you are better than her, then that will piss her off which will be obvious to you and will create attraction towards you. But for that you genuinely must get over her. Women have skills so good like us for seeing behaviors that would destroy a marriage, but in their case to know if the man has feelings for her inside him. It’s like puting a parasite inside you to feed on you while she takes care of the parasite now and then. You kill it, she gets concerned.
