Hi, I Have one of the original HB066 B.O.W. folding keyboards. I have used it off and on for the last 8 years. This time unfortunately I pulled it out of the drawer and plugged in the power to charge. I get the red light, but it does not seem to be taking a charge. I was looking for a tutorial video on how to open it up and replace the 210Mah battery. I would like to fix this one because it was one of the first on the market.
Are you able to contact the manufacturer and ask them? 😄
@@charbax No, it has been almost a decade since they sent it for a review. I figured the original people had all been processed through the body bank by now. Here someplace I have a couple of more later models branded with someone elses name. That is pretty common. If worse comes to worse I will dig out one of the newer models and try to carefully pull this first model apart and see if the battery is replaceable. It is apparently not totally dead. It did pair with a Moto G power 2022 earlier today and stayed in the action long enough to bounce a few texts back and forth about Hotel breakfast food fixes. It could be the power switch is a little corroded after setting out the last 3 or 4 years in a drawer.
I cannot pair with an Android phone (Galaxy Note 9). Please teach me how I can pair it to an Android phone. I bought this keyboard in 2018. Do I have to upgrade? If do so, how can I upgrade? Thank you.
Charge it up, look for the "function" key, then look for the blue bluetooth emblem. On your Galaxy turn OFF bluetooth, On the keyboard hold the function key, and tap the bluetooth key. at the top of the keyboard a blue light will flash. Turn bluetooth on on the Galaxy it will search for available devices. When it says something about a B.O.W. click that to pair the keyboard to the Galaxy.

Why does one keyboard look like a jellycomb clone and another looks like an iclever clone. Either they sell to other companies for rebranding or they're copying other companies keyboards.
