Thanks Mam........... Mam mene u tube par dual ki jitni bhi video dekhi hai unme sabse acchi video aapki hai. Apne bahut acche se simplex or dual simplex me diffrence bataya. [ Par Mam mera ek doubt hai..... Mam jo aapne Zj-Cj bataya hai mam uski jagah book me Cj-Zj likha hua hai . Mam me bahut confuse hu .Please reply kare.] Thank u mam........HIT THE LIKE FOR MAM...
Sanjna Kaur, thanks for your kind words! Sanjna, don't need to get confused, there is no difference! When you compute Zj-Cj you will get negative values that will be required to be converted into positive values whereas when you compute Cj-Zj you will get positive values that will be required to be converted into negative values. I hope it would help.

Deepu Giri Goswami, if you solve a Primal Problem directly with simplex method or convert it to Dual Problem and then solve it with simplex method, the answer will be same in both the cases. Hope it will help!!!

Good evening mam Mam your teaching is very good but I have confusion somewhere. 1) we always find Cj - Zj, but you find Zj- Cj. Why?? 2) you find max of -10,-2 and -15, so in this -2 is greater so why did you take -15? These doubts are there, and because of this I m not able to understand the concept. Can you plg help me to solve this confusion?

1) Understanding the dual problem leads to specialized algorithms for some important classes of linear programming problems. 2) The dual can be useful for sensitivity analysis. 3) Sometimes finding an initial feasible solution to the dual is much easier takes less time than finding one for the primal. 4) Sometimes the dual is just easier to solve. Mam, if there is equal to sign in constraints, give then how to proceed
As, eg ( min z = 2x1 +x2
Stc. = 3x1 + x2 = 3
With dual method
For equal to sign take both less than and greater than sign. Now u r having two equations and solve in a same manner.
Best teaching mam apne phd khaha se kiya
Madam Use duality to solve the Lpp & use dual simplex method to solve the Lpp ,both are same or different ?
I also have the same question, have u got the answer
maam book me (cj-zj) likha hua hai pr apne (zj-cj) kra hai agr duno me se koi bhi krte hai to answer me farak aayega?

What happens if xb values are same??(-1,-1,-1)
And
Second if cj-zj all are +ve but xb have a negative value??
If Xb me 2 same negative values ho to kise lena hoga key row me?
Nyc explanations mam 😘
Thanks mam
Good evening mam
Mam your teaching is very good but I have confusion somewhere.
1) we always find Cj - Zj, but you find Zj- Cj. Why??
2) you find max of -10,-2 and -15, so in this -2 is greater so why did you take -15?
These doubts are there, and because of this I m not able to understand the concept. Can you plg help me to solve this confusion?
Thanks a lot mam

Ma'am.... can't this be solved by "big M method" or by "2-phase method".....
You can solve it,but in theoretical question if method is mentioned then you will do it by the specific method
okay..mam
vvvvvvv nice maam

Thanks for your nice words.
some are saying dual simplex is for minimization some are saying its for maximizartion what is it for can anyone clarify please?

X2,x4 zero kyun hua mam please reply 🙏
Puja, x1 and x3 are the only Basic Variables in the last simplex table at 21:08, so the value (cost) of x2 and x4 is taken as zero. Hope it helps!
What is the advantage to solve LPP using dual simplex method?
1) Understanding the dual problem leads to specialized algorithms for some important classes of linear programming problems.

3) Sometimes finding an initial feasible solution to the dual is much easier takes less time than finding one for the primal.
4) Sometimes the dual is just easier to solve.
