- Dejan Kopajtic drives what is probably the fastest Race Car version of the quirky Zastava Yugo.
For those who don´t kow, the Zastava Yugo was the "Old Yugoslavian" version of the Italian FIAT 127. Here it is using the 1.6 NA engine from a FIAT Bravo capable of around 220Hp to move only 700Kg.
Here it is attacking this year´s edition of Buzet HillClimb where it beat the 1600cc Class Record. - Авто та транспорт

i went to a museum, well not really a museum but the garage of the owner. he has alot of cool things there, open wheels, volkswagens, some lancia delta, bmw, and more. its insane. very nice guy too

Nikakva posebna jaja niti ga nesto jari. Na siguricu prolazi krivine bez proklizavanja. Ovo je voznja ispod proseka.

Ante Radić Ovisi o cemu pricamo. Ako pricamo o kolicini proklizavanja gume o podlozi, auto je uvijek najbrzi kada guma lagano klizi, znaci slip angle unutar dinamicke kompoziranosti karoserije, odnosno, postroja.
Ali proklizavanja gdje govorimo o kutevima zaokrenutosti citavog auta, ne mogu biti brza od auta koji je smiren.
Osim naravno ako ne pricamo o rastresitim podlogama ili i jako uskim i ostrim zavojima na asfaltu, kakvi se mogu nac na relijima.
Tada je proklizavanje brze, ali zbog uloge upravljanja a ne efektivnijeg ostvarivanja ubrzanja; koje je temelj brzine na kruznim stazama i brdskim utrkama.

Lol, even in the 80s Italian tuners were able to get +100hp/1l from old SOHC 1.6 Fiat engines. I don't see a reason why we couldn't do that +30 years later with DOHC design

I believe it's a version of 128, though it looks more like a 127.
It isnt Petar, it is based on 127 (body chassis, engine and suspension) but tools for a body parts has been modified to be cheap and easy to maintain during production, suspension has been raised for 5cm to meet shitty country roads, springs stiffened for 50%, resulted in crap handling - this is why Yugo was so old fashioned, even for 1977.

it is wider than a 128 (can fit five speed gearbox) and shorter than a 127 (twitchy handling)
there is so much misinformation about this car and its problems are mostly that of 1970s era fiats
with only a few issues particular to it that most people are unaware of

Yugo školjka fiatov 1.6 16v sa hondinim visokokompresivnim kovanim klipovima od 2.0 modela i svašta nešto ..sve sam radi i šteluje lik je iz mog naselja 😁

@@miralemnermina142 e bas tako . Ja sam Srbin ,ali postujem svakog ko uradi nesto dobro, korisno i ko zasluzuje postovanje .
Evo pored Dejana koji je bas skockao yugica , onako do jaja , mene vise odusevljava sekvencijalna transmisija nego 220 KS sto danas nije nikakav problem izvuci iz 1.3 litra . Ja sam licno vozio u USA , Hondu Civic koju je licno tjuniro Havijer Gutierez , koji je poznat po tome sto je prvi izvuko iz B18 motora ( 1.8 litra ) preko 1000 KS , cak 1300 KS , al na trkama retko ima preko 850 KS jer je nemoguce toliku snagu preneti prednjim pogonom na tlo . Honda koju sam ja probao od drugara je imala 500+ KS na prednjim tockovima i nije isla nego je letela . U nekoliko navrata sam "ponizavao" momke sa BMW M3 .
Drugo Hrvatska se moze ponositi sa Matom Rimcem koji je zaista napravio , skoro nemoguce u nasim uslovima . Ipak firma postoji , auta pravi , tehnologiju je napravio i mozemo samo da mu kapu skinemo svi ne samo mi sa Balkana vec i ovi malo sire mocniji i bogatiji ,materijalno . Jos jednom Dejane svaka cast . A to ko je Hrvat ili Srbin , batalite na ovim forumima , ima gde se o tome moze diskutovati , ali ovde za to nema mesta .
