Finally was able to do what I’ve been waiting since I saw the 3rd gen Cadillac with the configurable LCD gauges , I swapped the gauges , see how it’s done . and how it turned out

Great how to video! I would like to see some of the other options on the new cluster. Can you hide the mileage? I know on the LCD cluster if it’s in sport mode you can’t see the mileage.

Great video, I have an ats 2014 2.0 t, will support the digital cluster of an xts 2013? I've read that you have to make a modification to fit, but I mean if it's something like plug and play, thanks for your time
I believe you can fit them but like u said there is some modifications you need to make .

No , but it can be installed but the windshield has to be replaced so it will have the reflective portion
Good video!! Do you happen to know if you can change the font style on the gauge? For example, I have a 2016 CT6 and I like the display better on the 2017 CT6. The font on the speed readout is cleaner looking and on the top gauges, the 2016 has a blue ring around the 4 gauge readouts where the 2017 doesn't. Thank you very much!
Thank you . So I’m sure the display would fit but you would have to contact , the person who did the programming for my gauges to see if it can be programmed .

Great video! But having the mileage not correct would bother me. When it gets programmed one would think the mileage would be part of that.

It does not , I’ve seen a few people put the CTS one but heard the dash and cluster have to be modified to fit
The CTS and ATS come with some pretty PATHETIC 🤢 stock gauges…
so this is a GREAT UPGRADE for both!👍

Are the red lights that are in place of HUD for collision alert still functional or are they removed or on the cluster itself

Nut drivers are not expensive and would’ve been great to have used here.

Thanks for the instructions, I got my right steering wheel control for the volume and media not working after the cluster swap, the control for the cluster still works, is that possible I accidentally popped a connector while removing/re-installing the cluster or just try to change the whole control?
The steering wheel controls are not affected by the cluster removal . But I guess I would check , maybe when the cover for the steering wheel was remove you touched something or check to make sure the pins in the cluster u installed didn’t get bent

So i have those similar stock gauges (exact look really) on my 2013 Cadillac SRX. Could i upgrade to the CTS all digital gauges?
I’m not sure you would have to research abs see if the gauges of the CTS are the same part number as SRX and see if it was even a option for car .

2014 CTS V 2nd gen ? No it does not complete different cars and computer will not fit

I upgraded my cluster on my 16 CTS using this video thank you. I also was able to buy the newer version cluster from 16+ cts v for 400$ on eBay and reprogram it using the vxdiag nano from Amazon. I’m also hoping to add HUD too, do you have any updates on it?
Your welcome , as for the HUD you need to replace the windshield due to the defective area made to work with it , it’s actually not bad it’s about $500 for the windshield plus parts for the HUD possible about $800 total

So like my cluster it has the female port for the hud there should be no reprogram or extra wiring you are going to need the actual HUD the HUD buttons and the grill cover

No , I looked into
It and you need to replace the windshield cause of the reflective area , but there is some one that has done it , and after all that money and time he said it wasn’t worth it so I left it alone .

@@PRviewsvlogs okay thank you. I did some more research and it’s the ATS’s need to have a little cutting and shaping to fit the new screen.

I know what your taking about but it only does that With the Newer LCD gauges 2016 and up and those gauges don’t work well on 2015 and down .

Your fine , yes only 2014-2016 if it’s newer then that it’s a different connector , did you contact black lacquer first he might have a extra one

Yes but it takes some modifications of the dash and the gauges , not sure exactly what’s involved

A 2015 CTS , the 2016 has diferente digital Gauges but yes it can work

2014 has two diffent style of CTS the gen 2 and gen 3 put your vin # in

You need a cluster from a 2014-2015 CTS premium . I have the part number on the description as stated on the video .

What orange check engine light ?? I have a TPMS light not a check engine light , and I explained that in the video , I have aftermarket wheels and the sensors they sent me didn’t program to the car nothing to do with the install of the gauges

No it’s still on , the tire pressure light has nothing to do with the dash , it cause I have after market wheels with after market sensors and the sensors are not reading

I believe that they have some differences in the mounting points
I would call CADILLAC get the part numbers for the clusters and cross reference if they are the same part number your good to go
And if so is it possible to program it to the ct6 after it has been programmed to the cts?
Hey bro I got a question about that mod I have a 13 XTS and I bought a 14 Platinum XTS is currently in my vehicle and it's getting a lot of errors on things that are not on my car will this cause a problem to the actual operation of the vehicle long-term?
I don’t get the question , you have a 13 XTS and you a 14 XTS gauge ? Or car not sure what your trying to say , but if you didn’t program the gauges to the car yes you will have errors will it cause problems probably not cause it’s just showing errors cause it can find the sensor for things that are not there , but you shouldn’t have this issue if you had someone program the gauges to your vin

Unfortunately no . Even the 2018 CTS isn’t compatible with this

Contact black lacquer , and see if he can program them , I know that one person fit them in his ATS but it was a 2015 and he had to cut some part of the dash to fit it properly

There no miles in the dash. If you install used speedometr you will see just -------- , when you write vin inside speedometr you will see you real miles. Miles in BCM, not in IPC
