Ok shout out to Wallensteins Ch. for showcasing a well built Chixia and proving that even the starter character is actually good, because of that I’ve been able to clear content using Chixia🗿
I built her, she's SO MUCH FUN. It's not very stressful to use her and the damage is very nice. Also, Encore users can give her the same echoes for the Tower.
She actually outdps danjin at S0, and peforms just slighty worse at S6. She has some prety good things going for her. Highest dodge counter multiplier, amazing outro multiplier, amazing burst multiplier and she does a fuckton of vibration dmg, even with the dodge counter. Overall, in single-target scenarios she's pretty damn good.
And more importantly, she's the funniest gunner to play... slides, full auto fire, 360 degrees ballet bullet, charged shots.... I choose this over any other gunner right now :p

Since I see a fellow person who doesn't judge a book by it's cover here, I'm going to impart a bit of Chixia's kit people tend to skip over because it's not a damage number you can improve. Well, easily anyhow. Chixia's Outro hits about as hard as an ultimate, and does it's full damage in a single AOE burst around the unfortunate individual you perform your next character's intro into. It's 530% fusion damage in 1 burst. Now, what if I said it can go higher? The Lingering Tunes set is a somewhat inferior attack set with only a 30% increase to ATK (thus about a 30% increase to damage) instead of the up to 40% from Molten Rift. Naturally, this would normally mean Lingering Tunes should be thrown in the trash. However, Lingering tunes has 1 effect that basically no one I've seen so far is using or even thinking about, +60% outro damage. On most characters, that's a useless benefit, after all, most characters give +DMG% for the next character, heal them, give them a high five of some kind, but not Chixia, Encore, Havoc Rover, and probably at least 1 more I'm forgetting right now. They do actual damage on the way out instead of giving a high five effect. For Chixia, this would be 530*1.60 = 848% damage when she leaves the field in an AOE around the target. Also, Chixia's dodge counter hits the hardest in game as far as I've seen at a base 170% at level 1 on her basic skill damage which is kinda a lot considering most others hit for about 90%. Just a few notes for a fellow who, like myself, scrounged through the dumpster when the tier lists came out and said to myself "it's been about a week, most of these guys probably don't really know what their doing yet so... what if they missed something"? ;) Enjoy!
although I really like ur idea about echo sets .. isn't fusion bonus more valuable than atck%? and even then... isnt gettin the 30 percent bonus fusion of molten more consistent? the moment u press or hold skill u get it compared to stayin on field for 6s.... but I'm notsure about her rotation to know how much of a impact that has on the final dmg /// love to know ur idea
@@gxz.notaken4242 To be honest, it's a matter of your overall build, but I do think specifically for Fusion characters, the Fusion DMG boost of Molten tends to be more consistent. I think it's easier to see the benefits if you lay them out like this. Chixia Gameplay I tend to find 6 seconds on the field is kinda easy to do with her as it's probably nearly 4 seconds to just do the 30 thermobarric bullets + BOOM BOOM shot, so if you have to dodge, do a basic combo, or build your Thermo bullets meter by tapping e prior, 6 seconds on the field is honestly not hard to do. Even more so when a boss is swinging at you where the dodge shots get slipped in as well, which hit pretty hard for Chixia. I don't have a massive amount of energy regen on her so sometimes her ultimate doesn't come up before she goes off the field for me at the moment. Either way, I tend to find she's out for 6-12 seconds before concerto is full to swap out to the next person, like for instance Verina. This being the case, the time gated damage from the Lingering Tunes vs Molten's press E requirement is sorta a moot point, as you really want the damage up by the time you hit Boom Boom. The your character's time delay before their done their intro animation is already like 1.5 to 3 seconds, thus Lingering Tunes may be more consistent as it never falls off, but a boss's attack chain where it's threating to end your life any millisecond may cause Molten to drop while your dodge countering. 15 seconds is a hell of an uptime, I doubt it would happen, I'm merely doing the 'devil's advocate' portion of theory crafting on it, honestly, as your E has a 9 second CD, this shouldn't ever happen. On the Field Fire set is better for on the field time, as 40% damage is great, so if your out for about 1 minute at a time or something like that, it's going to do more than the 30% atk assuming the two are effectively equivalent numbers. Outro Specific Attack set is definitely better, as 40% damage is not going to be better than 30% atk + 60% damage. I've seen it hit for 10K crits, that's a VERY hard hit. Summary & Thoughts on Molten VS Lingering Thus the Lingering Tunes set, to my estimation, has 2 major benefits. Outro cranking by a LOT, which means if your on the field for a short time it's probably better to use Lingering Tunes. If your on the field for a long time, Molten Rift is probably better. Either way, Lingering Tunes works for nearly 100% of characters, Molten Rift works for Fusion characters, so in terms of getting the most out of your tuners right now, Lingering Tunes is probably best. Future As we get new characters and weapons, Concerto gains may creep into the 5 Star weapons, which could make a team built around Outros a lot stronger. I do think in terms of Tuners best bang for your buck is probably lingering tunes right now. The reason's simple, if you build the set for Chixia right now, and want to use Yinlin day 1, you COULD transfer the set to Yinlin, despite the difference in damage type between them. Chixia being a fire type, and Yinlin being a lightning type. As you need 3 teams to challenge the ToA's monthly content, having 3 sets of +25 lingering tunes is probably a better thing for you to build, particularly F2P, than 9 sets of +25 echoes looking at element specific damage.
@@hazeke2306 You can feed the 4* to a 5* later so it kinda doesn't matter. Particularly if your pre-40 and having trouble getting 5*'s. Better off cutting your losses while you still enjoy the game then grinding yourself into annoyance, apathy, or even hatred at it when farming it will be super easy at data bank 20 with a 80% 5* drop rate.
I never even see the tire list and I already use her since day 1 because of how she's crack in dodge counter, she has range and good damage. Just to be sure you're good in dodging so you can fully use her
She was the first character I leveled since I'm biased for gunslinger characters that spray bullets. I never heard of her being called the worst dps, but maybe I just don't keep up with things. My impression was simply "great single target damage, but requires longer fieldtime then others." I eventually transitioned as I enjoyed the constant swapping of other comps a lot. I will probably go back and build her once I've got my core characters done with unless they release a 5* gunslinger.
At this point it is even worth it to start several new accounts to try out all those underrated units before the world level becomes too hard for them. I had to bench my Chixia, Yuanwu and Yanyang because fighting in the open world became tedious with them not being levelled up and upgraded.
I main yuanwu, I use bell-borne and rejuvinating set with the hp regen weapon and he solo does everything, burst dps with his ult and sub dps with his wedge
@@greengucci710 I use him more for the break efficiency since it’s so much easier getting Chixia to do her things after they’re broken or almost there.
I ended up C6ing Chixia, plan on having her and Encore in a team together since she buffs basic attacks on command @ C6 and they can just constantly spam outro/intro skills. Should work out to be pretty good damage, and I'm keeping Spectro MC around since I can swap my Verina's set to her and she works as a healer at S4.
I kept getting Chixia dupes and now she is fully maxed out. I don't know a lot about this game so when I heard she wasn't good I was pretty bummed. Guess I don't have to be anymore!
Just ignore those sweaty and just enjoy the game lol. They too stuck up with the "meta" and calculation and shiet that suddenly it become stressful instead of fun. And then they will go picking fight with others in comment section when they don't play what is "meta" to compensate.

One other funny thing is that right now, everybody is using lvl 60 characters because we're not quite UL 40, so nobody has any character with their second passive. Which, in Chixia's case, is a 30% attack increase, or a 60% increase at S5. With her multipliers, that's going to be a serious dps increase

I do infact quite like the pew pew guns play style, and her most brought up weakness (in my experience) is avoidable by just knowing enemy attack patterns

I semi-build her And her kit, and i was surprised by her amazing damage and kit synergy. I kept asking myself why people don't like her so much? She might not buff others but Her pure DPS skit makes her suitable for any team.
Love chixia, but at the same investment level my Taoqi is ulting for ~55k damage after ~42k damage from her intro + timed parries in the same amount of time per rotation so I just can't justify building her atm (although mine is S3 so it will happen eventually) #1 Taoqi main NA
Has anybody tried her with Lingering Tunes though? Her Outro skill has a huge multiplier and LT gives a fat 60% dmg bonus to it, I'm thinking LT's better than Molten for her. Or it might be a cope build I don't know.
I actually spent my limited banner pity just so I could pull more copies of her. The bonuses are just so broken, 1st Chain she gets guaranteed crits, 4th Chain basically reloads her Forte and 5th Chain DOUBLES her self-atk buff. Picked her up since Day 2 and have been trying to improve her as best as I can Very fun character with a quite high skill ceiling for incredible payoff. Ps.: I lost the 50/50 to Lingyang, so I'm guaranteed Yinlin.
the fact that I got Jiyan, Verina, Encore and Jianxin yet I'm using Rover, an RC6 Sanhua and Baizhi and I'm yoinking out the bosses with this team fun fact, My rover still only has a 3 star weapon solely because I'm unlucky and kept getting the Def% broadsword I plan to get the 5 star sword for Sanhua and another one from the U45 rewards for Rover
As an avid chixia main myself this is great to see I have beat holographic monkey 4 with chixia, and the thundering memphis with a chixia, lvl 49 sanhua and lvl 39 baizhi (verina was on the other side)

Wuwa 4 stars are so much fun to play. Once my main team and sub teams are fully build. I’ll build those 4stars def scaling characters. I’m having fun with the def scaling chick on illusion something dungeon.
I have been using her from the second I started playing the game. In fact, I find her SO good that I actually nearly stopped playing her because I felt she was making boss fights TOO EASY. However I ended up sticking with her because she is my wife

chixia is not bad. the thing with tier list is, it is based on who can do the role better. Chixia is great but she has weaknesss that other dps dont which makes her lower on the tier.. like she is very single target. most dps are not. So she is actaully really good on boss fights but not on the tower because the tower is aoe. And also she cant parry and that makes it harder to clear content. because parry makes the enemy numb so u can killl it faster. i am also using chixia. she is strong. but the others are just better.
So I had to pull a lot on Jiyan in order to get him, I failed the 50/50 so sue me. I have this woman at S5 like I rarely take the advice of tier list, But this one at first really wasn't hitting any where near my Rover's damage even with boosting her skills and all that. Seeing this at least for the world content I am probably going to use her now, I have a set of Fusion gear that will get her to 65% crit 185% crit damage, and decent attack/energy regen. actually going to test her right now I can fully sail her to 60 np.
At no dupes she sucks but her dupes actually makes her decent, Resonance 4 is a breakpoint imo because it let's her get bullets fast so she can just start blasting instantly
She is actually a good boss killer. Her S1 guarantees the crit of her resonance skill (hold version) which is pretty cracked.
It's only the final burst, not all the small dmg

Yo I've been farmin the inferno rider for days and I've given up on 5* and settle for 4* since the stats are better idk if that was a good decision

at first play i already thought chixia is so cool nothing can stop me from playing her
I semi-build her And her kit, and i was surprised by her amazing damage and kit synergy. I kept asking myself why people don't like her so much? She might not buff others but Her pure DPS skit makes her suitable for any team.

Love chixia, but at the same investment level my Taoqi is ulting for ~55k damage after ~42k damage from her intro + timed parries in the same amount of time per rotation so I just can't justify building her atm (although mine is S3 so it will happen eventually)

Has anybody tried her with Lingering Tunes though? Her Outro skill has a huge multiplier and LT gives a fat 60% dmg bonus to it, I'm thinking LT's better than Molten for her. Or it might be a cope build I don't know.
I actually spent my limited banner pity just so I could pull more copies of her.
The bonuses are just so broken, 1st Chain she gets guaranteed crits, 4th Chain basically reloads her Forte and 5th Chain DOUBLES her self-atk buff.
Picked her up since Day 2 and have been trying to improve her as best as I can
Very fun character with a quite high skill ceiling for incredible payoff.
Ps.: I lost the 50/50 to Lingyang, so I'm guaranteed Yinlin.

the fact that I got Jiyan, Verina, Encore and Jianxin yet I'm using Rover, an RC6 Sanhua and Baizhi and I'm yoinking out the bosses with this team
fun fact, My rover still only has a 3 star weapon solely because I'm unlucky and kept getting the Def% broadsword
I plan to get the 5 star sword for Sanhua and another one from the U45 rewards for Rover

I have beat holographic monkey 4 with chixia, and the thundering memphis with a chixia, lvl 49 sanhua and lvl 39 baizhi (verina was on the other side)
having 30% crit chance on her while she fire like a god damn machine gun is just god-send. she is technically Yoimiya with her E active all the time.

Wuwa 4 stars are so much fun to play. Once my main team and sub teams are fully build. I’ll build those 4stars def scaling characters. I’m having fun with the def scaling chick on illusion something dungeon.

I have been using her from the second I started playing the game. In fact, I find her SO good that I actually nearly stopped playing her because I felt she was making boss fights TOO EASY.
However I ended up sticking with her because she is my wife
Ma Xiao Fang + belly button = boss killer.
Her only problem is with the problematic aiming system in open world multi targets.

chixia vs all the boss is op but against huge crowd mob she easily weakest and can be overwhelm

chixia is not bad. the thing with tier list is, it is based on who can do the role better. Chixia is great but she has weaknesss that other dps dont which makes her lower on the tier.. like she is very single target. most dps are not. So she is actaully really good on boss fights but not on the tower because the tower is aoe. And also she cant parry and that makes it harder to clear content. because parry makes the enemy numb so u can killl it faster. i am also using chixia. she is strong. but the others are just better.

Having gotten her 5th copy I may as well build her
So I had to pull a lot on Jiyan in order to get him, I failed the 50/50 so sue me. I have this woman at S5 like I rarely take the advice of tier list, But this one at first really wasn't hitting any where near my Rover's damage even with boosting her skills and all that. Seeing this at least for the world content I am probably going to use her now, I have a set of Fusion gear that will get her to 65% crit 185% crit damage, and decent attack/energy regen. actually going to test her right now I can fully sail her to 60 np.

At no dupes she sucks but her dupes actually makes her decent, Resonance 4 is a breakpoint imo because it let's her get bullets fast so she can just start blasting instantly
