this was my first gacha, didnt realize i had to actually use the XP tubes to level up, went into the scar lvl 40 fight in the library with a squad of 15s and taoqi carried my ass. everyone else got 1 shot, but she could take 3 hits and heal half her health every 15 seconds. it took forever to win, but i did win that fight
We got a DEF guy who specializes in staggering everyone (Except Jianxin canonically, but that's expected of the formerly feral waifu.) and a DEF lady who... is Jinzhou's Ministry of Defence. I'm sure they'll do it. Though, I've had loads of fun pairing Taoqi and Jianxin together for monstrous shields that heal. That might be an idea. :)
Best girl. Pink hair, kuudere vibes, loves to sleep, ginormous ykwim, short hair(personal preference), gives off an older sister vibe and yeah tanks like a boss.
I pair Taoqi w/ Yinlin in my current main DPS Yinlin team. Very effective! The shield provided by Taoqi allows me to play Yinlin even more aggressively in Hologram fights.
I think it's one of those cases where the early game build mindset is still rooted too deeply into players and theory crafters to really look at a character properly. There's also the "just don't get hit" people who forget that dodging is downtime. I really enjoyed the sample version of her in the event.
one thing that decent amount of people dont know is both taoqi and yuanwu at max lvl, their base def is 1564 and 1638 respectivly. that is more 50% then a calcharo with a 5 star weapon at max lvl. those 2 are going to scale much better later and actually perform better later.
Even at level 60, while my Calcharo deals more damage faster, he's also more squishy, whereas my C5 level 40 Yuanwu was soloing bosses like they're nothing. Got my Yuanwu to level 70 now with over 4k defense. It's lovely
@@DiwakarSerala because thats to give a point of refrence on how other characters scale. base atk and def are what the atk% and def% scale off of, and considering 5 star weapons are actually reasonable to get in wuwa, all weapon types but rectifiers(500 is the highest for them, might see a higher base in the future) going form 4 star to 5 star have a 175 base atk difference, a literal 20% base increase from 4 stars on calcharo for whom i think has one of the highest base atk. some calcs for anyone who actually cares. now as to how significant that actually is, lvl 90 chars and weapons with only considering the atk% and def% with flat stats. calcharo with said 5 star would be at 1867 atk. a taoqi with ANY weapon will natrually sit at a 2364 def(3146 with her S4 active). now using the dauntless evernight, on intro usage, she sits at a pretty 3561-3795 def at R1-5 respectively.(4343-4577 with S4 active). to clerify crit stats, things like dmg% and damage deepens will effect both generally equally increase since the stuff in the game is similar enough, its just def and atk that would be heavily different. now considering all that, even if you shove both moonlit and healing set atk bonus, calcharo is at 2456 atk, a taoqis def gets upto 86% higher with a 4 star that most players will beable to get in a couple months of time vs a 5 star. its upto how each char individually uses their stats at that point for skill multis. the best comparison on a def scaler vs a atk scaler multis would probably yuanwu vs yinlin. S3 lvl 10 yuanwu if im understanding his things right will give a def multi of 31.144%, yinlins forte mark is 78.64. that a 2.52 times difference. in terms of what it will be like, yinlin will probably be running around with 2021 atk(jinzhou keeper+20% from healing set), well yuanwu 3484-4008(s6) def. yinlin has a 27% lead in this case. the difference is 27% dmg for a longer onfield time cast to get it active on yinlin, well yaunwu provides interuption resistance, 32% def at s6, can nuke toughness easier and has vary little field time.
This has already been debunked. Def scaling won't ever beat out atk scaling toons. It'll depend on their support skills for if they will be part of the strongest teams.
For someone who doesnt have Jinxin, she's actually a pretty good candidate for the Healing Set user of the 3rd team. She has great Synergy with Danjin & Mortefi, where Danjin can buff her, she can buff a Moonlit Mortefi, which has a lot of skill damage in his repart, and Mortefi Buffs Main DPS Danjin. All while Danjin keeps Taoqi's shield How you play her in healing set is pretty simple. Skill --> Echo --> Ult Swap 1/2, and Intro BA x3 --> Skill --> Echo --> Ult -> Outro 1/2. If you have her at sequence 6 and fully built, the best rotation for the 2nd part is actually to proc the Forte attacks with her skill rather than intro, so you get both +15% def from having the shields up, and +40% multiplier from parrying. Lets her ult actually nuke.
so her basic atk after the parry a.k.a time counters dmg can regenerate much concerto energy, interesting. resonance skill+liberation+ (parry) + 3 ba = outro ready
I’m currently building Taoqi and Mortefi as a team since Undying Flame (Mortefi’s fave gun) has a resonance skill boost and Taoqi mostly spams heavy attack when on field.
"The moment a DPS gets released that really wants Resonance Skill, Taoqi will be such a safe and strong team to bring into." Danjin literally using her Resonance Skill as part of her regular combo: Am I a joke to you?
danjin uses some resonance skill in her combo yeah, i am saying if theres a character that FULLY uses resonance skill, that'd be perfect. Decent amount of Danjin's damage also comes from forte circuit/Ult, which aren't skill damage i believe
one option you could do is to use the bell set on verina to buff chixia for more interruption resist thats the set i use on my verina its really helpful for extra survivability and if you do it on moonlit you get er and damage just a suggestion.
I LOVED HER SELF HEALING, even if she got knocked out. I just use a revival inhaler then E then Q (I use Bell Bone) and continue parrying until I can click E again to fully heal up. She really does help keep my team longer on the field. I just need to up her damage a little bit more.
Bruh taoqui can be used on anyone at RC6 because it gives 40% normal and heavy attack bonus if im not mistaken so at rc6 shes the best supportive 4star
A well built taoqi at lvl70 can actually do closer to 40k ult. And if you build her as a main DPS (because you can) building around heavy attack dmg you can reach upwards of 15k-24k heavy attack per hit at lvl70. Though it does require relatively heavy investment building mortefi and drastically increasing dmg output with 5star limited weapon from the dragon commander dude.
I definitely will build Taoqi later and pair her with Danjin but rn I'm starving in resource and my Yinlin still using lvl 20 artifact edit: The reason why people rate Taoqi lowly is cuz end game bosses (lvl 90-100 tower/hologram) don't give a damn about your HP and defense and will one or two shot you on top of the 5 minute time limit to just clear the stage and in tower you want 2 minutes clear for max reward means your main priority is to get more DPS in the team instead of more survivability. That said for anyone that doesn't care for end game and want to have fun you can use any chara and have decent result. Chixia, Taoqo, Yuanwu and Yingling might be low tier chara but they are still playable and not total garbo like the tier list suggest
Even with only 3 echo lv25 with average substats and 2 echo not leveled yet she already can hit 20k with ulti easily. That 2 huge nukes are there for reason. Lol. 😎

Bruh, i used her regularly in Elusive Dream. Not even Scar lvl max can hurt her 😅. Though... The dmg and buff for her (Def buff) are very lacking... (They even remove the buff where she can do 2nd ult with stacked basic atk) So its just matter of running out of time before Scar dmg significantly increased and pierce hee shell.
