Obviously they're passionate, but it's cool to see them get away from it at that secret show. =P Way to be complete dorks, guys. XD

@MarcadamiaNut Bill Stevenson also produced RPM so I dont think that's the issue. If they didn't like his ways then they could just have someone else produce it. According to the interviews, the band likes having Bill's and each other's open opinions. I think they're blunt each other too, not just Bill changing things

And yeah, to think they are going to come out with another fast punk album like Revolutions is naive. Any band will grow and this is pretty much the best outcome to ask for.

New album is AWESOME and I think a lot better than Appeal To Reason. And I think it's good that they try out some new stuff with each record. I mean, I don't want to have an album twice. So fuck people who say they want another "Revolutions Per Minute". Of course, every album is great but it's normal that a band evolve and change after 6 records and almost a decade! And every record still sounds like Rise Against, no matter if more melodic, more screams or more hardcore. They're all genius.

@jsh020 ok i agree with everything except the screaming part. screaming is not JUST for breakdowns. it varies with the artist/band and with different styles of hardcore music (melodic harcore,post-hardcore,etc). screams can me more or less popular with the genres but can be anywhere throught the song none the less. but don't get me wrong, screaming is not necessary with hardcore. and please dont say "screamo". that word has no relation to any type of harcore music at all.
@GeneralPayne1 NO HELL NO NO. scremaing is not a part of hardcore. screaming is saved for breakdowns and screamo and above. and i highl suggest avoiding screamo and above. hardcore is in your face, fast paced, heavy instruments, and ruff vocals but can have lighter ones. screaming may appear but soley for breakdowns. you cna be hardcore without even coming close to screaming. hell rise against has rarley screamed even the unravleing he just had a very gritty voice. the 09 ep songs did scream.
one thing i dnt like is the guest singer shit ther;re doing on this album. i listen and buy rise agaisnt to so i can have rise agaisnt not some guest singer that not the greatest and just akes up room on the cd where rise against could be
man...i watched all these videos and to me rise against is losing there UMFFFF all they are doing is what the producer wants them to do. there is no raw RISE AGAINST anymore on their newer albums, the songs are all starting to blend together. i still think their newer stuff is ok....but once again no UMFFFFF!!!
