The moving of rosalia is very fun so I dont have to worry about placements too much
Boring ass hero; Ninjakiwi could use a hero that can actively harms your defense/buff bloons for more reliable buffs and beneficial quirks.

17:48 If you look at the money amount, you only spent $52920, which is 70% of 75,600, so the price on the upgrade tab is a visual bug. I'm pretty sure it fixes itself if you close the upgrade tab and reopen it for the Super Monkey,

17:08 so basically the game deletes the savestate when you win instead of when you exit to home after winning, so the savestate isn't exactly present if you rlr on the first round of freeplay and it sends you back to the start.

The name actually has variants in the main roman languages (excluding French Rosalie)
Spanish Rosalía, Portuguese Rosália and Italian Rosalia. So she's actually more likely to be Italian or Italian decent.
Other proof would be the voice actress, but she's still unknown, and at least I can't detect any specific accent.
Edit: There is in fact Portuguese in her voice lines.
So we cracked the code: She's Brazilian, with one Italian parent and the other Brazilian, her name is Italian, but didn't learn to speak Italian in her childhood.
Rosalia seems like a hero who needs a bit of micro, but is overall very simple. I'm grateful.
from playing a single game with rosalia; energizer seems to pair really well - they get rosalia to level 20 quicker which means you can pair with anti bloon (with better ability cooldown even); but also the cooldown reduction means the full map pursue ability is full uptime; which is cool as it also means they use both weapons constantly along with the full map range (at level 18)

at 5:08 you can actuaaly see the rocket fly towards a bloon and explode dealing damage
OMG she speaks Brazilian Portuguese in some interactions.
After testing for some time i can confidently say that she's my new favorite hero.Easy to understand but complex enough to say you have to master her
I love her already since shes got great versatility ans is just very fun to use. She can be micro'd and uses it but it's FAR simpler than Corvus or Geraldo. Whereas thpse have a giant list of spells/items, Rosalia micro is just swapping the gun or changing position. Super fun and nice.
I just figured out that the new map is broken: If you click the "do not click" button 11 times the rocket flies to the first bloon on screen and stuns it. But when you go to home screen and back into the game, the rocket is back for another use. So you can basically use the stun (+ damage) every round.

By the way to apply anti bloon update you have to click off the tower and return to it, seems it's slightly bugged atm, so yeah you have to update it, but yes if you reopen the upgrade menu it does apply to 040 super that's dropped after the rosalia is already level 20
8:45 If you see at the top left the little clickable drone on the bench actually respawns, presumably after round 50.
There's 3 types of knockback: Setback, blowback, and rewind
Setback (press, big bombs) is good with stuns and slows
Rewind (pat, shove, super) is good with group damage, but is weak/useless against slow/stunned bloons.
Blowback (distraction, tornado) is good with spread damage like 401 reactor, and also works on frozen (& stunned?) bloons

I just beat the new map on hard with just rosalia glue spactory in the end and some buffs to try her out. That gave me the idea that maybe a 2tc was possible with rosalia and super mines. I'm not good enough at the game for this but I thought you might be able to do that.
Would Rosalia be good for early tiers of bosses? You could use some first strikes and sticky bombs or something and instantly double the damage output with the kinetic charge
just get sticky bomb
timed ranked strats have no need for this, she doesn’t level quickly enough to get kinetic charge for t1 and the ability gets irrelevant very quickly to the point of not being worthwhile at all on t2
the cap is very low unfortunately. it works less like a single target damage doubler and more like a strong attack that benefits from burst damage

One bug I noticed right away is that sometimes she doesn't instantly aim at bloons, firing 1-2 shots before actually aiming, and other times she outright doesn't aim at all while firing until you move her or use an ability
I think what Rosalia needs is a ability button to switch between weapons and a abillity button to move her around to make her less clunky to use

Did you know if you have it in laser mode whenever she’s flying she can push back all the way up to zomg and if you have a grenade mode, she can’t only when she’s flying
I think Rosalia is genuinely in a perfect spot, she feels quite balanced and I already like using her! If I were to buff her in one way I would make it so her bomb destroys moabs completely so they don't even spawn the child bloons.
Giving her lv10 layerskipping means she nukes the entirety of late game with no effort, since the AOE is the exact same damage as the main explosion.

The grenade is kinda like that one modded monkey that sets damage absorbing bombs that blow up everything after
btw, when use jetpack ability the place she was is able to put tower... then she come back she gonna in the tower

Also, if you get the sub paragon down in her range, her ability cool down, small enough to worry you can always have her in flight mode

i think the idea for the weapons is to make bomb better for small stuff when laser is better for big stuff
Feels like her knockback effect is based off the speed of the moab
5:08 The missile targeted ‘strong’ and destroyed a green bloon, so it works similar to the sword on ravine.
I can't wait for her super max buff test!
@BTDIsab, i tried the missile on the table. It is a once per game homing attack on the strongest balloon.

man, i really like Rosalia, she is so versatile and can be put in so many position, she can change her approach on how she handle things, and you can even tell her to go on top, and she doesn't even mind!

For the discount to work, you need to get tech terror, then click out of it and back on it. Then it will work. For some reason, there is some delay before the discount works, and it doesn't seem to update if u just stay on the menu, so just click out and back into the super

I think she does a good job of being micro heavy without being as unapproachable as corvus. Itll be interesting to see how big of saveups she can facilitate with micro.
As far as strategies rosalia energizer does seem very good, camo is her weakness and bloontonium reactor is very good decamo. then getting full jetpack uptime at level 18 and extra exp to get level 20 for more firepower if you get energizer early enough. You also have alot of options for your main damage tower since energizer is quite cheap.
Depending on how good the early game is saving $3650 on apache prime or $2600 on a sky shredder could make them very attainable. Then buffing them with midpath glue gunner boosted by blootonium reactor and possibly p-mentoring for 100% uptime.
Permacharge is another decent damage option that benefits from reactor, midpath glue, and p-mentoring.
the 10th shot lazer knocking back moabs is really strong in my experience
She seems fairly strong so far. I will say that if you want her at full power, you really gotta utilize her abilities but as far as her weapons go, you can pretty much just leave her on the laser. Apparently the laser does bonus damage to MOABs later on so I kinda leave her to target strong bloons.
Sadly her discounts really aren't that great. Sure, it'll save more if you're spamming in late game plus I think it stacks with discount villages, but as an early-mid game strategy, it's just not good.
Spam clicking the rocket on the table fires it off, making it target the first bloon and dealing damage it seems.
Eh, she's still pretty micro heavy imo. She doesn't have an entire second menu like The Boys did but she's still got three abilities, two different weapons and requires manual repositioning to make the most out of her small range. Absurdly small for what kind of hero she is IMO, I'd like her to either have more range or be able to shoot in transit, doesn't have to be both, but one or the other would cut down on her downtime that is unfairly high from what I've seen of her so far.
Rosalia seems like she's good enough that intense micro isn't required but would be a good hero to practice doing micro with. And also she's cute as heck. Definitely gonna use her next time I play.
to people who are criticizing her because shes another "micro heavy" hero, did u really expect the only flying hero to be simple😭 i think this is rlly cool! i do recall ninja kiwi saying the next heroes are gonna be simpler again so dont worry too much guys
I think it would be cool if lvl 18 just gave her a pursuit targeting option permanently, with activating the ability making her do double weapons for the duration. Sorta like how etienne lvl 20 makes his lvl 10 ability permanent, and using it just upgrades for a short period of time
I like this hero. She seems like a lot of fun. A bit of micro needed for sure but she's nothing compared to the nightmare that was Corvus. And believe me, I LOVED Corvus but just playing him was such a headache. I'm simple.
The lv 10 ability doesn't explode when fhe moab layer is popped, it gets put into layer below

NK felt bad for having a hero with lots of micro so they made Rosalia because less micro but still keeps it involved in some type of way without making it micro-dependent like Corvus

For the super monkey 30% cash reduction you just need to click off and click back on the super monkey after x4x
The new map tinkerton is perfect for target infinite ace. It would be cool to see a two million pop challenge with sky shredder even if it is fairly easy.
on tinkerton, you can click the whiteboard to flip it over and find out that rosalia never solved 2+2

i think rosalia is really cool, but i think the lvl 20 is kinda niche since it only affects 1 specific tower (the anti bloon) without increasing her own attacks much
my suggestion: at level 20, rosalia always dual wields her weapons instead of the dual wield being limited to the level 7 ability

Tell me if this is a bad idea…. Hero using xp to level 3 different skill trees like a normal tower. Have it cross path for different strategies. Seems like a unique hero style that I haven’t seen before🤷🏽♂️
The anti bloon not being discounted was purely visual, if you look at your money you only spent 53k on the upgrade

Someone probably said this already but that rocket that you said blasts off into nowhere actually does damage to the bloons. Not super useful considering its such an easy map, but could help start off

I wonder if there will ever be a hero that replaces Sauda as my number 1 used hero. She's cheap, can basically solo early and mid game and has no real weaknesses apart from maps without a bend. Plus I hate microing so yeah Geraldo, Corvus and now Rosalia aren't my thing really 😅
I feel like Rosalia is affected most by getting to level 3 instantly since the grenades at level 2 are pretty big
