I have this rv and I have put 7500 miles on it in one year. Absolute joy to drive and so far all systems work perfectly. Only had to get a new awning switch swapped out. It drives like a small van and has excellent power in the mountains.
Wow!! I am impressed with your review! I am a looking to buy my 1st RV. Things that other evaluators or channels don't cover you do. Quality Control(QC) is critical to me. You explained things like a Factory Tour I didn't know existed (I told you, I am new.) The pull out slide and its mechanics or make up (you are the 1st to explain); the floor of the bathroom and its construction(you are the 1st explain from an QC prospective); 1st to explain the warranty; The list goes on! I am an immediate fan! I will definitely reach out to you before I purchase an RV. I am on the east coast. I need budget friendly!!
Is there a reason the manufacturers don't take the awning to the back? It seems like a doable thing to add that foot or so of awning to cover that whole side. Just curious.
Very helpful video.....but are there two solar charge controllers on this RV? Inside, at the start of your video and inside, I think you pointed out what you called a solar charge controller just inside and on the left hand side of the entry door. But at 32:11, you mentioned that a Go Power solar charge controller was located inside the outside storage compartment that you were showing. Why would Jayco put in 2 solar charge controllers? Is there an outside solar port meant for portable panels that has its own charge controller and this is the one you were describing at 32:11? What type of solar panel is on the roof? Is it a monocrystalline panel? Or is it a flexible panel? Also, does this RV have azdel panels in the sidewalls? I apologize for all the questions.
I wish they would change the location of televisions. I am 5’2” and cannot reach the fans or the television to swing it out. Plus, seeing it is not comfortable.
It may be National Park friendly, but it’s certain;y not SLEEPING friendly. 70” is NOT a queen size bed. If you’re 6’ tall you’ll already have 2 inches drooping off the end of the bed … that is if your head is flat up against the head of the bed (with no room for a pillow). What are these RV manufacturers thinking of? It’s certainly not comfort, especially after a long day driving an RV. I’m amazed at how RV many buyers plunk down $150,000 or more for a new rig and never measure the bed.
Then get a bigger rv. Space is limited in smaller footprints. If you can be that picky, get one custom made. My grandfather was 6’5” and knew there wasn’t going to be much he could change about bed length. He gladly slept weigh his feet off the bed so he could go camping with his family. I understand things are different now, and as a society we are a bit more spoiled when it comes to camping, but complaining on channel that isn’t directly connected to the manufacturers is kinda just a waste of time. He’s just trying to sell it to someone it will work for. He didn’t say it worked for everyone. Camping isn’t meant for 100% comfort lol it’s camping. If you’re living in it and are that tall get a custom rig, or 5th wheeler that has its own master suite. This isn’t that RV.

There does not appear to be enough electrical outlets in the kitchen area. And, I would much rather have a sofa than a dinette. Dinettes are a waste of space and uncomfortable.
The interior screams, "Welcome to my parent's 1970's basement rec room". I appreciate Jayco products for the quality, but when will they catch up w/ decore choices? Grandma's valances? Really???

There’s always the whitish cabinetry choice these days. I agree - the brown cabinets are not good. Somebody must like ‘em as the brown ones have been around forever. Valances? I’m kinda liking them!
Cabinet drawers on Jayco are crap and slide open with a bang as you are going down the road. I had to retro install mechanical latches due to the crappy friction drawer "stays". Jayco wiring is also crap, unsupported and exposed to road debris under the coach and snags on EVERYTHI G you can imagine.
Not a good beginner or any level of experience RV. The entire thing is stapled together and will shake apart quickly. That fold up bed is just horrible and a waist of space when the slide is in. You might as well make the interior out of cardboard.

It will run on 12volt directly from your chassis batteries. Your batteries will keep your fridge going while driving as well.
