Traveling around Vietnam can still be great value and you often see this in the cost of hotels. This is a fine little stop over hotel in Mui Ne. Nothing luxurious but at a great price (not including breakfast) and with a very nice swimming pool.

Much better than a lot of the $25 hotels you have been staying. $10 a night is the price I like to pay.

Take a walk along the water and have a look at the hotels. I was there in 19 and for $20 a night. Beachfront suite, breakfast included, pool etc. $20 US a night. Try the big goat restaurant heading north on the way out of town, GREAT FOOD. Travel safe.

That's very good value. I've spent most winters in S.E. Asia since 2005. Not many $10 rooms around anymore. My record is $2 in Huay Xai Lao , but that was 2006.

10 dollars a night is crazy cheap, cheaper than a non furnished cheapest apartment in my city......since that is 310 dollars a month rent basicly and cleaning all the time which is amazing. Pool and always new people coming to visit the hotel....would actually be a great place to live.

Hi, Daniel. They say it's gout. Happens from time to time. Very painful and I didn't get to do the things I wanted in this town.
Sure beats the hell out of sleeping on a cot with 12 other people in the room like in a hostel.

What is water for ? Cleaning your face probably. Just fill the fridge with lots of different beers and you'll forget
everything about the clear liquid with no taste..... :) Best wishes.

Been to Pattaya twice and loved it, but never to Subic Bay. Which would you recommend? Stay with Pattaya or check out Subic....?

Hi, Daniel. Subic is small, so much more going on in Pattaya. But for July I'm not sure what will be happening. That is also the low (rainy) season in both places.
