*Looking Great!!!*
Always Sucks when you are missing parts!
Thanks! The good news is that I am not missing much!
@@DirtDauberGarage Well that's a good thing! mine has been sitting in a swamp/bush for the last 25 years LOL! and i am really surprised not much is missing of her.
Very nice!
Can’t believe you just made your own part! That’s amazing. I have friends that are excellent at that but only b/c they live in Cuba and have no other option!😆
Thanks Nathan. Let's get you one and start fixing it up!!!
That's coming right along, looks great!
Hey! I recently discovered your channel. I have my 40 for 29 years this October. The hand-built hinge receiver you fabbed was really impressive! What size steel did you use for the threaded insert? I have to replace one of mine. I made a shoddy attempt at drilling out one stuck bolt back in the ‘90s lmao. Thanks for your help and inspiration!
I don't remember off the top of my head. I think it was 3/16. I will measure it and get back to you ASAP!
@@DirtDauberGarage awesome, I really appreciate it!!
