Ya'll really like this one, huh?
yea dawg, this is bonkers
Yes, it’s fantastic! Only heard it for the first time in like January or so but it’s quickly become a favorite.
If anyone on the SRB2 Cyberdime Realm team ever decides to add more music tracks, please let this be one of them
The capabilities with these nostalgic Tracker programs were endless.
Sweet track!
when you could do all the math by hand for snare rushes and such and had infinite subdivision like in buzztracker yes... modern daw sucks imo heres album i did in buzz and im not a musician lol. ua-cam.com/video/4fBOrYCOGoc/v-deo.html
Andrew Sega and those Korg Wavestation samples are an effin' beast in combination!!
this is the future right here
it's also the past, but i agree
oh this is beautiful ......................... man I think you unlocked something inside me
Why is tracker music so damn good?! I love how old they are too, I was a wee lad when this stuff was being made.
Because the musicians (in case Necros AKA Andrew Sega) actually had passion for making a great track with the limited tech of those trackers. Now everything is paint-by-the-numbers top 40 garbage meant to sell to teen girls.
limitation breeds creativity!
trackers are 16bit, not 32
open up Renoise for example, wich io have started using... because of the daw, the way you make patterns is different than modern daws..
i was messing around with it.. and had a "voila" moment... realized why 90s and early 2000s jungle/dnb beats sounded like that... entirely because of the technology available at the time...
@@apreviousseagle836 I hate this boomer idea of "everything is top 40 garbage".
Venture the actual music world. You'll find good things, it just won't be at the top anymore. Stop this ignorance.
@@theblobconsumes4859 As a musician, I do that all the time dude. Most of the good stuff is old remixes/covers of game music though. I haven't turned on the radio in over a decade, because every time I do, it's either some whiny nasal c-nt, or some effeminate dude (Drake, Ed Sheeran, etc). Why? Because that Autotune crap is what 12-16 year old girls like.
This has been stuck in my recommended bar for like 2 months now, out of the 20+ times ive seens this I probably clicked at least 10 times and man I really cant complain.
UA-cam knows what you wanna hear
@@Hypotenuse2001 back for my daily dose
So now I understand why my excel tables were doing drugs last night
*Sounds like racing game music, i love it!*
One year after Just was released I went to my first demoparty :D
This is phenomenal!
It sounds like it's from the future but also from a PS1 game at the same time
PS1 (and this era of gaming/electronic music in general) was the most futuristic thing to ever happen. It will always be the future to me.
maybe from metal gear soiid 1
Nice, i remember messing around Impulse Tracker, doing Fruity Loops now, no where near this skill what i am doin tho.
Modplug Tracker brings back these capabilities to modern systems.
Absolute magic
Andy Sega's one use of the arpeggio command in earnest.

@@Hypotenuse2001 probably the band Andrew Sega (Necros) is in. They are on Bandcamp.
Iris is Andrew Sega's band.
To think that YukiSatellites and voices (bit.of.eons) started my love of mod tracker music
