Kofi Annan ’61 in Conversation with President Brian Rosenberg

A conversation with Kofi Annan ’61 and President Brian Rosenberg was held May 7, 2018 in the Leonard Center Fieldhouse. Kofi Annan is Founding Chair of the Kofi Annan Foundation, former Secretary-General of the United Nations, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, and a member of the Macalester class of 1961.
Following a unanimous vote by the Macalester College Board of Trustees, the Institute for Global Citizenship was renamed the Kofi Annan Institute for Global Citizenship, in honor of Annan’s global leadership and dedication to peace. Macalester re-dedicated the Institute during the Secretary-General’s return to his alma mater.
