@@chocoburgersenpai1627 exactly! its a feeling that only Naruto knows and probably couldnt express to most because he's hokage and has to have an heir of invincibility about him. notice he only let it slightly known to his closest friends sasuke and sakura (and probably to hinata as well) in the privacy of her office. it was only a glimpse of his sadness then he quickly covered it up by saying he's hokage and his friend kurama wouldn't want him to be depressed. I think even then it was probably the first time his friends had seen a true glimpse of the connection between jinchuriki and tailed beast.

@@SRFAA naruto has SO6P because if he didn’t how would he fight like momoshiki with just kurama and remember kcm2 naruto was massacred by madara and then with SO6P he dominates madara even making him use limbo and run and ye I have seen a lot of people say that naruto is strong because he has the other half of kurama but that other half will give naruto a 40 to 35% power boost and I just don’t see him at the scale of SO6P naruto and than he fights momoshiki with half his chakra and still was an amazing match with SO6P I don’t see him doing that and with all this I said sasuke with ems got massacred by madara and then with rinnegan became op rinnegan helped sasuke a lot and sasuke will lose against naruto cause he doesn’t have rinnegan but naruto does have SO6P I also like sasuke more than naruto tbh but I just don’t see him winning this one

Naruto still has things that make him stronger than the average shinobi, but it's not even a debate that most of the power he had later in the series came from Kurama. This is confirmed in Boruto also after his fight with Isshiki.
He still has Sage Mode, rasengan, and other tools, but it's incorrect to make it sound like Sasuke is the one who lost more from this latest fight.
It honestly made me tear up. Don’t get me wrong the Boruto situation is sad and how scared he is. Mainly tears of happiness. That how close Boruto and Naruto have gotten. Mainly to see how much Naruto has grown not only as a person but as a father. Just flashbacks and thoughts of everything he never had as a child, he’s making sure that he can give his kids the love and security that he wished he had growing up as a young child now giving everything he has as a father and husband to his family. Im proud of our favorite blond headed knucklehead ninja🧡
This made me also tear up, i literally grew up with naruto and seeing him become a good father just tells us how far we've come along.

I'll admit it's fun seeing Naruto act as a parent and while he's depicted as a bad parent at certain points I'd say it makes him better since it shows how he's learning from his mistakes.

It breaks me a little when Boruto asked Naruto can I trust you. He’s going through so much that he needs to be reminded that he can trust his own father. He needs to be told, he can’t just believe it to be so, he has to hear it. That’s sad.

Poor Naruto, he just lost Kurama and they were trying to force him to sacrifice his child. I love their embrace, it's the first time I've seen Naruto and Boruto being so tender. Although Boruto crying for Naruto on ep. 218 was heartwarming too.

one of the biggest issues with Shippuden is that Deidara got no backstory other than when he joined the Akatsuki. Most charismatic character in the history of Naruto/Boruto
Fun fact: it took Deidara 20min to infiltrate the Sand Village, defeat Gaara and kidnap him. GOAT!
No one can deny seeing Naruto still developing as character is absolutely amazing. The fact he doesn't care being powerful or is reputation as hokage, as long he's there for his son that's all that matters, like how a true father should be 😎.

This conversation is so meaningful because it really sums up their relationship. Boruto has always wanted to feel protected by Naruto and have his unconditional support. Naruto gave him that in this scene and more. So beautiful.
It was the hyperventilating that got me right after this. It was the same back in Shippuden when he felt everyone was against Sasuke. , and now he felt everyone was against Boruto.

@@iam4026 Because it's a lose lose situation because he's going to lose his son no matter what's decided because even if he decides to protect him from the other Kages or Sasuke from being killed he's still going to have his soul overridden by Momoshiki and he still dies. So Naruto's between a rock and a hard place to either protect his son as a father or protect his village as a Hokage.

Boruto consistent haters be missing so much because of their blind hatred and ego. If someone said Boruto was bratty and obnoxious, I would agree but only in the past. He obviously has an amazing character development here and people who don’t watch the show up till now has no rights to judge his character. Same goes for Naruto. All people see is that he get nerfed but I saw him getting a big boost in terms of character depth. PREACH! I can't believe the amount of boruto haters in the comment section. Like yes he was bratty and had father issues, but borutos reasons were true to what I would see in a real child dealing with this scenario. Boruto has gone through so much in such a short time that his current state of mind is justified. He is not meant to be Naruto or even to follow in his footsteps. Borutos whole character is that while he loves his father, he doesn't like being compared to him or overestimated purely because of his dad. He likes being known for his own strengths and skills, and it shows because he is a prodigy.

Pretty sure Naruto isn't going to die in boruto, in the episode 1 we see kawaki saying he he has sent him somewhere, which we know is obviously some other dimension, aside from that, I'm pretty sure Kishimoto is prohibited from killing Naruto by the publisher shonen jump, even though he once said he has no problems killing Naruto if it's necessary for the plot.
Not sure how they will bring ratings if Naruto dies. This show can't survive with out Naruto.

Naruto understands his son very well. Being "possessed by something sinister", being rejected by everyone for that reason, and everyone wanting them dead for the same reason as well. I love this father and son character development and connection. Naruto became the father that he wished he had growing up. Boruto, Himawari, and Kawaki (who Naruto basically adopted) should feel really proud to have him in their lives. He’s been through so much heartbreak and pain and I’m glad I got to see his progression from start to finish from my childhood into adulthood 😊

I cried so hard when I saw Naruto make a father's promise to Boruto. It hit me the hardest because I never had that from my father and neither did Naruto. This show is so underrated seriously.
That's kinda the core of naruto as a series...the kid was an orphan and had to do dangerous things at ages 12 13 and 16 and literally fought a war before he was 18 and saved his village then the world then his friend then his future love from an alien and even his sons now from more aliens....the story hits home with so many kids cause like them he's figuring stuff out and while we have smaller battles to face in reality naruto as a series inspires cause it began as a kid with nothing and now it's about protecting what he has....what he earned...being hokage being a husband being a father..finding such a good pal in sasuke....again he was an orphaned 12 year old...boruto now is feeling similar to what naruto felt when he was seen as a monster....

The most heartbreaking part of this scene is Naruto almost having a panic attack and hyperventilating again. Can't believe Sasuke had to be so tough with him; it's like he doesn't know how much Naruto had to suffer to brought him back.
It's not that he doesn't know Naruto's effort, it was shown once in the time travel arc and back in shippuden after their final fight, he realized just how much Naruto has to suffer just to bring him back. But you know its Sasuke. The guy who is cold and strict. He doesn't care so much about Naruto's feeling abt this, because Naruto is the hokage and as the leader of the village he must make the desicion wisely, not by feelings but with logic. Sasuke was just trying to make him face the harsh reality. Tho it seems easy for him to say that. Obviously, it's a though time for Naruto. But yea lets not blame Sasuke for being so blunt to him. I love that Boruto found a safe haven in Naruto's arms to eventually rest after all he's been through but Naruto also needs someone to secure him that he's still a very strong shinobi worth of the hokage title. How I wish Naruto can open up his worries to Hinata again bc I'm sure Hinata is one of the few people who has seen how strong Naruto is even at his failures. Hinata could give her that confidence again just like in the classic Naruto and Shippuden. It's sad to see Naruto get treated like his power is only dependent on Kurama.

I think it's more like Kurama has literally always been with Naruto, and at this point in the story, he's had the KCM cloak mode for about half as long as he's been alive. When what you're used to is suddenly ripped from you like that, it's kind of hard not to break down at some point, especially if you're in a position of power

Life will be tough without Kurama, but his nindo is still going strong. Prior to Kurama, his philosophy/nindo was his primary strength.
And as we saw in the first episode, Boruto will also use the nindo as his inner strength.

Honestly the Asura upgrade (and Indra upgrade respectively) basically made him and Sasuke super humans that could fight Otsutsuki. The first few seconds of the Momoshiki fight he was just using Asura power.
The only difference now is he has to use regular sage mode along with his Asura power, and his power will still be well over most hokages.
Pretending he doesn't have these abilities just because he doesn't have Kurama even though those powers were't' reliant on Kurama is just bad writing.
Even if I was Code, I wouldn't want to be hit an Asura-Sage Mode punch. Especially since that mode has high predictive sense.

I mean he did have a time in the previous series where he felt scared of Kurama inside him and how he might hurt the people dear to him.
