Wow what a talent you have for drawing and your use of colour. What's more I love the whimsical style of your drawing and the feel good fairytale vibes in your picture - it really looks like it could complement a fairytale book or graphic novel for autumn like your choice of book recommendations - it's beautiful!
The opening scene is the most beautiful magical picture I have ever seen. It gave me feelings of hope, happiness, gratitude, warmth, love. Thank you for that image!
MY GOD 🧡🍂 the quality of your videos, the creativity, your sweetness.. I just can’t! I can’t believe there was a time I didn’t knew you and didn’t had this heartwarming videos to be cozy with.
Your illustrations are charming and just make me feel happy and childlike! This illustration would be lovely to send as a "Happy First Day of Fall" or for a fall birthday or Thanksgiving, or even a support card to remind a friend to get out and walk in nature and enjoy life's free gifts

I just love your illustration style and colours and passion for creativity. You have inspired me to get out my little painting book again. And it's never too late - I'm 59. Thank you, Morgan. Sending hugs from an autumnal feeling day in Gloucestershire, England.
Thank you so very much for this, friend. You’re absolutely right, it’s never too late! After all, we continue aging no matter what so we may as well pursue the things we love while we age/live!
Thank you so much for making these videos, Morgan! I am a new college student living far away from home and watching your channel during my Friday morning routine gives me the same feeling of comfort and excitement about life as calling my mom or seeing an old friend. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and that you know how much your videos bring joy to others!
Your videos are full of very beautiful and lovable pictures, that's why I always take pictures of pictures when I watch videos and I watch them for hours .... I love you my kind and loving friend 💕
I loved it when your guy said " FALL in a muffin". Made me smile so big! I also am reading Magic Lessons from the library. Follow up with us on your homemade orange cinnamon strands. Much love to you both, Tanoa
The Night Circus is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read, and I HIGHLY recommend Erin Morganstern’s other, more recent book A Starless Sea. It’s a beautiful story about the art and magic of storytelling.
Thank you, I have recently found your podcast. You are a breath of fresh air. I have been binge watching. I thoroughly enjoy your videos, they are so calming yet inspiring. I live with my family in the UK. My son and I are tea drinkers and so envious of the wonderful autumnal flavours you have. We were fortunate to have visited the USA and I love Trader Joe's. Hopefully we will manage another trip and I can stock up on the lovely Take care and thank you for taking the time to share your books and beautiful scenery.
I totally adore your Morgan videos, they give me a lot of peace and they are the right ones for this fall season. New follower of Mexico, a hug and greetings ❤❤❤😊
A magical way to start the day… a visit with Miss Morgan. You bring out the wonder and potentials for magic in the everyday tasks. Your art is wonder and whimsy and I am excited for your new adventure. Yes, yes, yes to “ The Name of the Wind”. On my nightstand for a second travel. 🦉🍁🍄 Happy crisp mornings here in Portland.
Thank you for your wonderful videos, Morgan! I've been following you for ages, but don't know if I've ever commented. Your illustrations are adorable! Regarding Autumnal vibes, I don't recall if you have ever shared footage of the swifts that return to the chimney at Chapman school in NW each year. If not, that would fit so well with your cozy/magical/nature-y vibe. Thanks for making Friday morning coffee so charming!
Definitely read the night circus! It’s amazing and so so atmospheric! Perfect for fall! Love your content I’m always in a better mood after watching one of your videos. ☺️
Omgg i keep seeing the night circus at bookshops and libraries but i never gotten the chamce to read it yet! But out of curiousity what is it about i honestly never rewlly knew much about the story at all i just keep seeing it alot around here 😅
It’s really great! It’s set in early 1900’s and basically it’s a love story of two magicians competing against each other through this mysterious traveling circus. The first page is super gripping couldn’t put it down!
@@emilyross2307 AHHHH! Magic! Love! AHHHH that books sounds perfect for me!! Im completely sold now XD But i wont be able to read it soon since my book list is quite long and i take so long to read a book so yeah .... :( I'll try and get a hold of it if i can! 📚
i have very good news: your drawing of the feeling being in between seasons absolutely made me feel like i was getting the most comforting bear hug 💛 your wondrous creativity and wit comes through so perfectly in your art and i'm so happy that you're more confident in sharing it with us because it truly is a blessing to my eyes to see the world at the end of your paintbrush 🥰 also, i love your autumn reading stack!! i can't wait to hear your thoughts about "the night circus" bc that was my fav fall read this year (when it was fall back in march in the southern hemisphere, that is 😅) some of my autumnal reading recs are "rebecca" by daphne du maurier, "we have always lived in the castle" by shirley jackson, "girl with a pearl earring" by tracy chevalier and "i am the messenger" by markus zusak 🍂
Wow, friend 💛 Your comment made me tear up- thank you so so so very much for finding wonder and wit in my art and for appreciating it so 🤗 Also, I love your recommendations! I’ve made notes of them all 🍁

Hi, Morgan! Thank you for such a beautiful vlog. It truly felt like the beginning of autumn filling my senses. I’m sooooo excited for your new tier! It’s going to be magical. I can feel it. My favorite autumnal book, that I have 5 copies of to give to friends and family, is Empty Mansions by Bill Dedman & Paul Clark Newell Jr. I’ve always loved histories and biographies and always associate it with dark academia and autumn. That’s what this book is. It encompasses the life of Huguette Clark and how she spent her families fortune. It’s kind of dark and mysterious. But I feel as though, with the authors writing styles, the reader is able to feel all of these emotions from the different points of view in history in which Huguette lived. All the hugs, Katie
Hi, Katie!! Thank you so very much for joining my new Patreon tier!!! 🤗 I love the atmospheric autumnal dark vibes you’ve described of Empty Mansions- it sounds really really good!
I absolutely adore your outro. It reminds me of a special trip I took - views from the plane window, and the tone of the music fits the trip and takes me back. I hope you keep this outro ;)
Oh! I REALLY really want to read the Ray Bradbury book! My dad said it’s the most beautiful writing he’s every read…and that it’s really spooky!! Little Men sounds really lovely, I think I’ll give it a go! And I love the Graveyard Book story you’ve shared 😊
@@MorganLong I remember it (the Bradbury one) being really good! I read it for the first time for a summer reading assignment all the way back in high school, years ago now, and I don't think I was quite ready for Bradbury's work then, but I do remember a moment from early in the novel that was so atmospheric and spooky that it really stopped me cold for a second. I think now that I have read and taught more of his work, my reading experience will be very different. I'll probably like it even more than I did back then!
I have been super busy lately but am finally catching up on all your videos!! I am so ready for fall and winter your channel is one of my fav things about this time :)
What a lovely video and collection of autumn reads! Although I do not have a tradition for fall reading I did very much enjoy a bunch of Miss Marple murder mysteries by Agatha Christie on audiobook last year. They felt PERFECT for the season!

thank you Morgan for this beautiful, cozy video and all of the recommendations :) I’m definitely going to read a few of them and I’m also really interested in the poetry book 🍁🍂
Aaah I’m so excited for autumn! 🍂 Can’t wait to watch the video this afternoon with a cup of tea and a lit candle! 🕯🍵 Also - my favorite autumn books to read are Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (I try to reread it every fall) and then a Jane Austen book✨
Love your illustration and admire your artistic style. You make the best videos. Living in Florida we don’t see seasons so your videos are magical. Thank you for another beautiful one.
Wonderful cozy video for fall Morgan. I love your artwork. It is whimsical and so very you. You have a right to be very proud of it. I just joined the Cinnamon and Clove tier and look forward to getting the charming bookshop postcard and tea cup sticker in the mail this month. I wish you much luck in your continued endeavors and thanks for being such an inspiration to so many of us at any age. By the way your dinner looked amazing. Where in PDX did you get that yummy looking veggie burrito? If you made it yourself then I would love a recipe. I will need to get that autumn poetry book too. Lovely idea. Mary Oliver is my go to poet but it will be fun to read other classic poems dealing with the autumn season. Enjoy your weekend.
This summer ended up being one challenge after another for me. It started beginning of June and just continued on and on.......I can't say this has been a great summer for me. I'm very excited for fall. One of my favourite cold weather activities is making soup and homemade bread, and of course reading but that just continues throughout the whole year. Thank you, Morgan, this video really soothed my frazzled nerves.
I didn't know A poem for every autumn day was a thing! I read a poem for every day of the year and absolutely loved the idea of it, so obviously i had to order the autumn one too... Excited to build a little collection with all the seasons! BRING ON THE COLDER WEATHER AND THE COZY JUMPERS!
I may have immediately ordered this poetry book even though I guess I’ll be a little late in starting it 😋 but it sounded like a must have for my poetry collection!
I just discovered your channel. I love the book recommendations! I love to reread Jane Eyre or any book by the Brontes. Also, Jamaica Inn or Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. These are classic Gothic novels.
Over here on the east side of the US, the moment September 1st hit, the weather instantly cooled and it feels like autumn too. Not ready to let summer go. For me, I’m in the mood for spooky and paranormal books.
The spell book of Kristina Von tassel was and is one of my fall favorite books, as are any sleepy hallow books. Autumn is my most inspirational season. Living in North Florida I am so happy for fall to reawaken my senses. Fav soup: curried butter nut squash soup. Fav bread to bake,: cranberry. Fav fall movie: hocus pocus. Enjoy sweet soul!
I'm 30 seconds in and already I know that I could pause the video at any moment, print and frame the gorgeous images that your videos provide. Your eye for beauty and wonder is magnificent! I highly recommend Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier if you have not read it already. Its my favorite gothic novel... and then I recommend listening to My Tears Ricochet by Taylor Swift because I'm 98% certain the song is about Rebecca. I just signed up for Cinnamon and Clove and I'm so excited to be able to decorate my space with some of your lovely art!
Thank you Morgan! It's still 95 degrees every day here in Florida but I'm aching for it to be a proper chilly autumn. Happy I got to have a bit of that fall coziness through your video :) have a great week!

thank you Morgan for this beautiful, cozy video and all of the recommendations :) I’m definitely going to read a few of them and I’m also really interested in the poetry book 🍁🍂
My favorite season! I can’t wait to read some of the books you recommended especially the poetry book. Love your videos! ❤️❤️❤️
Morgan, I couldn’t wait to watch your next video. 🤗💕 So here it is. 🌷
I just finished rereading The Name of the Wind today. I love that book so much!
Aaah I’m so excited for autumn! 🍂 Can’t wait to watch the video this afternoon with a cup of tea and a lit candle! 🕯🍵
Also - my favorite autumn books to read are Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (I try to reread it every fall) and then a Jane Austen book✨
I just discovered your you tube channel...Love it books and tea...greetings from Perth Western Australia...we are going into Spring here xox
All of Kate Morton's books, Lockwood and Co. series by Jonathan Stroud, and The Darkling Bride, are my recommendations. Love The Night Circus!
Thank you, Morgan, this video really soothed my frazzled nerves.
this is such an amazing video, Morgan! your videos deserve more reach
Thank you so much, friend!
I completely think that September 1 is the first day of fall! Thank you for this lovely video to start the best season! 🍁🍂🍃
Dinner looked delish recipe please, I love your illustration….great work :)
Wooohooo!! I would love to try a poem every day of the year! And YES! Bring on the cozy jumpers!!!
Aw so glad to see you are enjoying the poetry anthology! I did think it had your name on it :) xx
Thank you SO much, Lucie friend
You are amazingly talented ❤️❤️❤️. Your videos bring me so much comfort.❤️💜❤️
Happy Labor Day Long Weekend, Morgan!❤️❤️
Happy Labor Day weekend, friend! ☀️
You too, Morgan!
I may have immediately ordered this poetry book even though I guess I’ll be a little late in starting it 😋 but it sounded like a must have for my poetry collection!
Happy reading, friend!!
I am at the end of Bill Bryson "a walk in the woods" took a little bit to get into, but a wonderful escape read.
That is a beautiful stack, including two of my favorites, The Bluest Eyes and Anne of Green Gables!
Thank you so so so much, Sophia friend 💛 For so much more than everything you’ve said in this comment too 💛

Thank you Morgan! It's still 95 degrees every day here in Florida but I'm aching for it to be a proper chilly autumn. Happy I got to have a bit of that fall coziness through your video :) have a great week!
Yes, I feel the same Morgan, that I want to enjoy each season fully before it's over, by doing the seasonal things I love x P.S. I also loved the Wildwood...
Here’s to making the most of our lives 🍁
I always love your videos and take notes of your recommendations. You have yet to steer me wrong and have introduced some lovely book 'friends' to me, so thank you.
