The part about seeing the dawn reminded me of some beautiful memories. When I was a new mom with a very young child, I hated the lack of sleep and dreaded how there was no distinction between day and night for me anymore - a special kind of loneliness that lived in those extra long, dark nights - except the dawn. I remember each day seeing the light seep into the world. And each day I would pause, watching the grey light brighten into a new day, marvelling at its beauty. Sleep deprivation is hard on me, but those moments gave me strength for the day ahead. Taught me the power of hope. Thanks for the memories!

Also Rebecca is a fantastic read! I was struck by how bad that marriage was - more of a horror novel for me on what it means to marry someone so aloof (I mean, the guy's name was De Winter - no warmth even in his name) and how oddly empty marriage can be. My favorite character was Rebecca herself - and she's dead! Masterful how a dead character can have more force and life than a character still alive.
You could make a glaze to drizzle or some gourmet JAM. APPLE BUTTER! PEAR! ORANGE MARMALADE!!! THERE'S A SEVILLE MARMALADE. Even honey or honey butter w vegan spread. I bought date syrup. It is warm and darkly flavored. That would be perfect for yr pumpkin 🍞.
The only part of the story I enjoyed of The Night Circus was when Poppet's brother tells her the story of the tree. I'm glad you loved it though. Great vlog. 😀

My Tears Ricochet by Taylor Swift is (I think) from the perspective of Rebecca and Tolerate It also by T. Swift is from the perspective of the main character. Taking a nature walk for mushrooms sounds like such a great way to connect to nature and I'm so impressed that you study the different types. And the pho mishap sounds devastating. Landon handled that so kindly, my hangry-ness would have made me crazed haha.

loved rebecca, if you want to "learn" more about rebecca's character, there is a spiritual prequel/sequel to the original book called rebecca's tale by sally beauman. its tone is reminiscent of the original rebecca, and i found it to be very interesting since i always wanted to know more about rebecca when i read du maurier's book. i think some people objected to the way beauman paints rebecca in a more sympathetic light, but i found it refreshing.

I am glad that you enjoyed the Night Circus it is such a lovely book and something that I wish was real like the carousel and the cloud maze and widgets tent and the ice garden (I want to make a bookshelf insert for TNC but there is so many options of what I can make) and on story nexus (I think cannot remember) there is a game that you can play which is like going through the world of the circus and I loved the begining of the video with the mushrooms

I recommend The House on the Strand and Jamaica Inn by Daphne Du Maurier as well. Jamaica Inn has those dark, Wuthering Heights vibes, I think.

Hola Morgan! I read the book, " Night Circus". Great book!! This story has a combination of mystery, action and romance. I never heard of this book, before, until you recommended it. Your videos gives me that inspiration to read. It is great to read a variety of genres. You get a different perspective. Also, I admire your sincerity and patience. Also Rebecca is a fantastic read! I was struck by how bad that marriage was - more of a horror novel for me on what it means to marry someone so aloof (I mean, the guy's name was De Winter - no warmth even in his name) and how oddly empty marriage can be. My favorite character was Rebecca herself - and she's dead! Masterful how a dead character can have more force and life than a character still alive.
I loved Rebecca- the book, but also the new movie adaptation. This vlog has been AMAZING! Take care, friend! Xoxo

I am so thrilled that you enjoyed the books! I've been wanting to do a Rebecca reread and this is the perfect season! My Tears Ricochet by Taylor Swift is (I think) from the perspective of Rebecca and Tolerate It also by T. Swift is from the perspective of the main character. Taking a nature walk for mushrooms sounds like such a great way to connect to nature and I'm so impressed that you study the different types. And the pho mishap sounds devastating. Landon handled that so kindly, my hangry-ness would have made me crazed haha.
They are so kind, aren't they. I love living in a world where people like Morgan and Landon live. They make me wish I were kinder, too. Oh interesting perspective on My tears ricochet, i thought it was referred to her former previous label guys, but it definitely makes sense this way too.

I'm not kidding when I say I often think to myself that I want to feel in life the way I feel when I watch one of Mo's videos... like a ray of sunshine, pure beauty and warmth :) And I'm not positive that Ricochet is about Rebecca, it just fits so well and the lyrics video has a dock as the background so I feel like it was at least partially inspired by the book.

loved rebecca, if you want to "learn" more about rebecca's character, there is a spiritual prequel/sequel to the original book called rebecca's tale by sally beauman. its tone is reminiscent of the original rebecca, and i found it to be very interesting since i always wanted to know more about rebecca when i read du maurier's book. i think some people objected to the way beauman paints rebecca in a more sympathetic light, but i found it refreshing.

I am glad that you enjoyed the Night Circus it is such a lovely book and something that I wish was real like the carousel and the cloud maze and widgets tent and the ice garden (I want to make a bookshelf insert for TNC but there is so many options of what I can make) and on story nexus (I think cannot remember) there is a game that you can play which is like going through the world of the circus and I loved the begining of the video with the mushrooms

Morgan I'm recovering from minor surgery and I find your videos so uplifting & relaxing abd visually beautiful! So, thank you, for that! I have Rebecca on my TBR so glad you reccomend it! I'm actually about to begin The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. PS when I make pumpkin bread I combine both white and brown sugar I believe it gives it a richer flavor roughly a cup of each I know it sounds like alot but I quite like it sweet.
