Until a few moments ago, I had never heard of adiponectin. Thank you for thoroughly explaining it.

It's a good sign that she doesn't take herself too seriously. It means that she's not suffering from the typical narcissistic god complex that you see with medical people, who feel that they must always seem so professional to remain righteously above everyone. She's confident enough in what she knows to be a little silly with the presentation, because her ego isn't always on the verge of injury. It's a really great sign, despite some of the silliness of it. As a former medical researcher myself, and one of the best, I repeatedly witnessed that there's a big difference between the reality of things and the magic show put on by the establishment most of the time; in their tap dancing routine of always pretending like they are the smartest people in the room. I guess that's why they are always curing people. No, wait a minute...

She was saying, "They like drinking, not booze, but blood". And that the way they do that is by us getting active (getting our blood pumping, I think)

@@tabitha7388 It not only nourishes the MAT, but they get the low insulin level signal and disperse the adiponectin throughout the body that way.

I have a high analyse enzyme, with insulin resistance, low thyroxine levels ( predisposed due to genetics as well ). I have normal tryglyceride levels but low Adiponectin levels ...and very low T from genetics (2% people have this genome to be born low, dominant trait ) any help or tips for diet and foods ? Keto ? Fasting ? I'm feel lost as trying to balance one hurts the other .. .low Adiponectin levels as well which led me here ... Is there SARMs/steroids/etc I shouldn't do based on this fact ? Saying I shouldn't do them in general isn't giving me safe info J's . Is there ones that would aid me ? Life has been a struggle with these issues adding ADHD In the pot I'm a full plate !! predisposed due to family genetics of low T heart disease and diabetes due to reason above . Im 18 percent body fat and eat healthy compared to American diets .

From what you shared......... I doubt you are insulin resistant. So following approaches that concentrate on lowering insulin, are probably not going to move the needle.

Hi I have a question, how does this effect skinny people? I have high blood sugar but, I only weigh 160.bls 5'9 tall. Why is that? Any advice?

    • @Betterbodychemistry

Unfortunately insulin resistance is not only a problem of the overweight. An interesting, but probably unhelpful stats is around 30 % of people who are obese are metabolically healthy and around 30 % of people, who appear to be normal weight, actually have metabolic troubles.
I am guessing you're in that category. No one knows for sure, but sometimes the problem is attributed to being "skinny" fat, which just means, you are carrying fat in the internal organs, particularly liver. Generally speaking, you will benefit from following advice that lowers insulin resistance. For example, Cutting carbs etc.
